We could not have asked for a better weekend away. Our “cottage” was perfect. All the comforts of home and the scenery is unmatched. Our hosts were beyond accommodating and even left some snacks for our little boys. We were about two mins from the playground and fishing pier for extra entertainment. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing peaceful spot to recharge our batteries!

Stayed at the cabins for our wedding. We had a wonderful stress free stay. The owners are incredibly caring and accommodating. The cabins are quiet and very comfy. It’s so well appointed and stocked I felt like I was at home. I didn’t need anything. Easy to get in and out, we’ll be recommending to our friends and family.

Picturesque and perfect right down to the last detail! This well designed and thoughtfully decorated cabin welcomes you from the moment you pull into the winding drive. The wraparound porch leads to an entrance overlooking a quiet cove and is the perfect place to soak up the sounds of nature. The cabin’s vaulted ceilings and clever craftsmanship are the epitome of chic meets rustic. We highly recommend Old Place Cabins for a fun fishing weekend or a quick romantic getaway. The owners made us feel right at home and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

As always, absolutely perfect stay from start to finish. Ive stayed at BnBs all over the South, and Old Place Cabins are head and shoulders above ALL the rest. The owners are always accommodating, accessible if needed, and go above and beyond to insure a great stay. The cabin is immaculate. The kitchen is stocked with anything you might need. The beds are comfortable with ceiling fans in each bedroom. The porch has a real wood butcher block breakfast table, under two outdoor ceiling fans to keep the heat and bugs away to enjoy the view of the lake. Couldnt recommend this place more highly.

Had a wonderful experience over the 4th weekend! Love the layout of the cabin, great decor and perfect for our family with two little ones. Lots to do outside between the fire pit, kayaks and fishing all on site. We look forward to a return trip! Thank you Heather for amazing time and great communication!
