We stayed at Barefoot Bungalow over Labor Day weekend and absolutely loved it. The house very clean and up to date with appliances and decor. The beds were so comfortable. Definitely will book this charming home again. -

We stayed at one of the New Wave rental properties and had a fantastic time in Port A. The house was immaculate and well-kept. We accidentally left an item behind and didnt realize it until we got home. The item was securely locked in the office overnight until we came to retrieve it. Everyone who helped us with the rental was terrific. Also, the effort in assisting us in getting our item back was top-notch. Its clear that they love what they do and have a great team. -

Our rental was perfect for accommodating our multifamily vacation. Clean and easy to access! The grounds are beautiful and feels very tropical, we loved it.It was a great stay! We will definitely rebook! -

We stayed at Shore Thing for about 10 days. The property was as described & had everything we needed - plenty of towels, soaps, kitchen stuff, etc. We were able to use Walmart/heb/sams delivery for groceries, which was very convenient. The dock was great. We have a pontoon boat and had no issues docking; however, the bay is very shallow - which i wasnt expecting. Theres a marina right down the street with a boat ramp. 2 bait shops within a couple miles. Neighbors were polite, but mostly left us alone. There are some chickens, roosters, and turkeys that live around there. The crowing became a bit annoying (literally all day, all night). Lots of deer around the area. We even caught (and released) 2 stingrays off the pier. New Wave staff was incredibly responsive, even on weekends & over the holiday. We had a question about how to work some outdoor lights (over Thanksgiving) & received an answer in just a few minutes. They even offered to send an electrician over if the dock lights wouldnt work, but they worked fine once we found the right switch to power them. The internet went out towards the end of our trip (the day before Thanksgiving). I work remotely and always carry my own internet box just in case, so it wasnt a big deal. It might have been a problem had I not had my own wifi. They told us where the modem was, but we couldnt get it back on. There were only a couple days left on our stay, so we didnt work on it very long, either. I told the staff we didnt need it; Im confident they would have sent someone to fix it had we wanted them to. Wifi was fast, which I greatly appreciated. The tvs all had Netflix & various other channels. I cant emphasize enough how responsive and helpful the staff is. There is literally nothing they could have done better, including having the house ready for our arrival. We would definitely stay at this specific property again as well as use new wave rentals again. Our experience couldnt have been better. Were already planning our next stay with them. -

Me, Jill and our dogs, Ringo (Poochon) and Tina Turner (Imperial Teacup Shitzu) decided to go to Port Aransas for Christmas. We rented a 3 Story Condo called BEACH LIFE on 11th Street which was a great place. You can see the ocean and hear the waves from both balconies which we spent time on. Great location! We drove a couple of blocks and parked on the beach and walked on the water while the dogs lost their minds chasing seagulls.....We ate in and out and Uber Eats even delivers!! Fun Trip!! -

Renting with New Wave was a fantastic experience! They had excellent communication, and they made everything really easy for us. When we arrived at the property we walked into a beautiful, cool ( temp ) house. It was so nice after traveling for 3 hours. They had goodie bags waiting for us, and all the bathrooms had toiletry bags. We stayed at Lightly Salted, and it was beautiful and very well maintained. It was fully stocked and the property had many amenities. It was perfect for our kids and grand babies. There was a lot for them to do. The house was close to the beach and town which made it so convenient with little ones. I would definitely book with New Wave Rentals again! -

My family and I stayed at Hacienda de Playa and it was amazing!!!!! New Waves communication, the amenities, the shared pool, distance from beach access, all made it easy to have a relaxed vacation. New Wave made it easy to enjoy ourselves and they were prompt to answering text. They even offered discounts to go earlier and stay later and rent a golf cart which were tempting. My family and I plan on booking next summer with a private pool. Shared pool was crowded a few times but we was worth waiting to the late evening to enjoy! Can’t wait to book again!! -

We have stayed at the Dolphin Cove home a few times, each time it has been amazing! We have so much room for everyone and they make sure you have what you need! The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and dishes! Plenty of parking. Plenty of chairs by the pool, pool is a great size as well! The beds are comfy. Nice fire pit with seating for everyone!Only thing I would say is make sure you bring ice, there is no ice machines in the fridges.All in all I would highly recommend this house! Big plus your not far from the beach of the night life! -

We had a great stay at Brucie’s Bungalow. It was very clean, well supplied, ample linens. For us it was just the right walking distance from the beach. We appreciated the Welcome bucket and all the initial supplies to get us going. Since I have sore hips the elevator was a welcome addition especially on move-in and move- out days. The elevator was a little tricky to get the hang of. Towards the end of our stay it wasn’t working at all, but we had quick response from maintenance . If we had one wish it would be that the ice maker worked.Thanks for a great visit!Judy and Jeff Donaldson -

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Sea Side Sunrise. It is actually the second time we have stayed here. There are a few things that could use improving though. None of the bedrooms have a dresser where you can place your folded clothes and some of the bedrooms don’t even have a closet to hang clothes. No luggage racks are provided so you have to know to bring your own or just keep your clothes in your suitcase on the floor. The top floor bedroom doesn’t have bedside tables either so you won’t have anywhere to keep your phone or a glass of water. That has to go on the floor as well. Some of the bathrooms were missing a trash can and we were only provided one trash bag for the kitchen. The kitchen didn’t have an obvious cutting board or a pizza pan so you’ll have to bring that as well. The house is decorated very nicely. The rug in the living room curls up on every corner to be sure not to trip when moving about. There is also a very musty/mildewy smell throughout the house but that may just be because it’s so humid near the beach. There is an uncovered window in the mother in law suite bathroom shower that made one guest feel exposed to surrounding houses that’s had windows up high. The living room has big beautiful sliding glass doors but at night there isn’t a way to cover them so you feel like everyone around you can see you and your guests hanging out on the couch and in the kitchen. The water pressure in each bathroom is excellent and there is a never ending supply of hot water. The door to the bathroom on the second floor doesn’t close/latch unless you know to pull up on the handle with a lot of effort. Just trying to be helpful with these comments and not come across as critical. The property management company was very responsive and friendly, except we rented a golf cart during our stay that had a flat tire. We called to report it and no one ever came to fix it or if they did they didn’t tell us so we had to use it as is. A new pool table was provided this year that wasn’t there last year and our kids really enjoyed that. There were several boogie boards provided and the kids enjoyed those as well. There is a very nice laundry room with top of the line appliances also. -

Our stay at Kia Ora Casita by New Wave Rentals was very comfortable & relaxing. From the moment we booked, our hosts provided clear & concise instructions & info regarding everything we needed to know. Check in was smooth, condo was super clean from the counters to the floors & appliances (which sometimes get over-looked.) Beds & linens were comfy & our unit had a K-cup compatible coffee maker. The included amenities, shared pool area & nearby attractions kept us busy & entertained. We would recommend New Wave Rentals if you’re ever looking to book in Port Aransas, especially with family! -

Loved the place very beautiful, just a few things that need to be checks silverware was dirty pans were stained need new ones. Underneath bedroom to the right with the twin bed underneath it was dirty was not swept had stuff underneath it. Overall loved my stay at your home will return next summer.. -

This place was so much larger than I expected, very open floor plan!! If they replaced the couch with a fold out they can put two more people in there for sure! Everything was clean. Linda in the office was extremely helpful before I went. I did notice on the last day that the vents in the second bedroom and second bathroom were closed and that’s probably why it was a little warm when I slept. I have let them know, but other than that everything was perfect! We are definitely going to come back this summer and book one of the bigger places this company has! -

We stayed at Dolphin Cove 10-bedroom condo, and it was great and totally met our needs. New Wave was able to grant us an early check-in which we really appercited and will surely use them next year and hopefully we can get the Dolphin Cove for a second trip. -

Great service, super friendly and responsive to txt messages and phone calls. The Nauti Captain house was beautiful, new, and clean! Large home with 2 full size living areas for big groups. Great back patio with fishing dock, fire pit, and bbq grill. Close to the beach and the Texan. Perfect spot. -

We recently stayed at a condo managed by New Wave Vacation Rental. The 3 story condo had several pros and a couple of cons! Pros: Loved that it had a washer/dryer, pack-n-play, high chair, an elevator, and was close to the beach! Cons: The gas oven quit working midway through our stay and the vent-a-hood was dripping condensation onto the gas stovetop in two places. It was reported at 6:30 a.m. via the after hours number and then a call to the office was made at 9:30 a.m. to report it. A person came and looked at it that afternoon. He was very friendly and tried to fix it to no avail. He said he would have to contact the appliance repair person on staff. Unfortunately, we never saw that person. Not being able to use the oven meant I was not able to cook several of the items on our menu which had already been purchased! Some of the refrigerated items we were going to bake made it back to our home (5.5 hours away) ok and others did not...think cans of exploded biscuits in the ice chest! Another con was the fact that there were grass burrs in the small back yard and on the way to the pool. Our family did not let the cons get in the way of us having an enjoyable time, though! We know that things happen with appliances...thats life! And we just made sure our toddler grandsons had on shoes when we headed to the pool. Overall it was great! -

We rented a 6 seater golf cart with New Wave this past weekend and it was great!! This is our go to company from now on anytime we visit the island! The whole process was smooth and the drop off was easy!! And bonus points for their golf carts having Bluetooth speakers! -

The Village Walk house was clean and had everything we needed. I have had bad luck with other rental companies in Port A. I will use New Wave again. The golf cart was really nice. -

A huge thank you to the staff of New Wave for making the rental process such a pleasant experience. Everything they did was above and beyond our expectations. The properties we looked at were great, and we felt like the pricing was very reasonable. The most impressive thing was their responsiveness. We’d contacted several companies in Port A, all of the said they’d contact us back shortly, then we’d never hear from them.We talked to Bricelyn shortly after noon on Saturday. Less than an hour later she sent an email with a list of 5 properties that met our request. A few minutes later she was able to make arrangements for us to view the ones that were not occupied. We met Trey first thing on Monday morning to walk through them. He was knowledgeable about the properties, and very helpful. Our decision was made, Kyra completed the reservation, with all the questions answered and details explained perfectly.When it comes to customer service, these people get it right. -

Rented a place at Pirates Bay from NuWave and upon arrival the bathroom sink was draining slowly. They offer an app that allows you to request a repair, the OWNER came to check it out because the regular repairman had the day off. Above and beyond customer service! -
