    Never would have expected a more comfortable stay than this. Nice pier, thankfully they had one last night the Fulton pier was so crowded. Mom & Pop rocked it out their pier allowed us to fish Redfish, blue crab, silver-spouted trout, and small black drums. We are having an excellent stay. Would truly recommend this place. The bonus is that the cabin/rv park is quiet at night. Relaxing in the morning.

    Hubby and I enjoyed our stay at Mom and Pops RV and Fishing Retreat. Dina is super nice and professional and it was very easy to reserve our full hookup RV spot on concrete slab with more than one way to pay. If you love fishing this is definitely the spot to be, with a great fishing peir, well lit, with plenty of fishing nets, chairs, and spot lights. Easy access to do wade fishing or kayaking. There are also 3 cabins for rent that looked good from the outside. We checked out the videos on how they look inside and they look nice. I can say everyone is right when they say this area has great sunsets! We recommend this place especially for people who love to fish. Weve already shared this site to family and friends.

    Another great weekend at mom and pops fishing retreat! The cabin is great and AC is cool! The view is picturesque. And you can’t beat the private pier for the most gorgeous sunsets!

    Great place to wind down and do some fishing. The owners are super friendly and easy going. The campground is clean and well kept. The pier is very nice, well lit with a cleaning station and they provide chairs to sit on while fishing or hanging out. There is easy access to launch a kayak if you bring one and also plenty of shoreline to go out and wade. All in all its an awesome place to camp out in your trailer or stay at one of the cabins they have. We will definitely be coming back soon.

    Mom and Pop never disappoint each time we come! Anytime we have an issue Miss Dina is Johnny on the spot there to help! This is our favorite place to recharge from the regular routine of life. If you need peace in your life make your escape here. The water is amazing to kayak in! We will be back soon!

    I want to share with all! After a year of following Mom and Pops on FB i finally got the chance to visit this past weekend! I stayed In Flounder Flats cabin and it exceeded and my met my expectations. From a pretty well stocked cabin to get you to enjoy your stay to a nice and clean park. Oh did I mention the amazing sunset’s and nice fishing pier. Even other guests in the park were very friendly! Can’t say enough but to say thank you Dina from an easy booking and again great accommodations!Can’t wait for my next visit!Frank

    Our cabin was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The RV park is very peaceful and well maintained. And the pier was amazing! We fished all weekend and caught an assortment of fish! Dina is a great host!! Can’t wait to stay again!

    My husband and I enjoyed a much needed get-a-way at mom and pops rv and cabin rental in Rockport, TX.We loved it! The pier is literally 30 steps away from our front porch.And the pier, all 325’ of it, was clean and all ours.We stayed in the Flounder Flats Cabin which was beautifully decorated complete with comfy king-sized bed, soft towels, comfy devan, kitchen and everything is clean, clean, clean!We squeezed in watching a football game, fished, went to Goose Island State Park, enjoyed local restaurants and celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary.Mom and Pop, no doubt, we’ll be back!

    We just spent a couple of days at Mom & Pops and to say everything was great is a major understatement. This was by far one of the best getaways our family has taken in years. Dina and Pat go out of their way to make us and everyone else staying at the RV and Fishing retreat feel right at home with amazing cabins filled with just about everything you would need to help make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The fishing pier was awesome, clean, well lit, chairs, rod holders throughout and a good size lighted cleaning station. We had such a great time we have already booked another stay in October.-Steve

    Mom and Pop’s RV and Fishing Retreat is a true Texas Gem. We rented a cabin. AC was ice cold. That’s a big deal in June’s Texas heat. The cabin felt like home with a huge couple of bonuses, prime bay fishing plus complete solitude and privacy. I don’t think the owners realize how rare their private property is. Thousands of feet of waterfront property on Copano Bay overlooking the bridge that separates Aransas Bay and Copano Bay. Perfect Wade fishing or kayak fishing. Calm waters. Only three cabins to rent. From your cabin you are hard pressed to see anything but wildlife, salt flats and beautiful sunsets over the Texas bay system. Many state parks do not hold a candle to this privately owned Texas gem. Did I mentioned they have a private 350 foot fishing pier that goes out over sand bars and grass beds full of Red Fish ( Red Drum), Black Drum and Sea Trout? Two days prior to arriving at this retreat we paid for a professional fishing guide in another area of the coast. We caught more fish at this resort with no guide involved due to its prime location.     Can’t say enough good things about this place and Dina’s hospitality. This is a one of a kind place. Beautiful pier to fish from and she has nets and keep alive buckets furnished. If you want a nice clean quiet place to stay, check this place out.

    Stayed here for a few days and I was pleasantly surprised at the superb accommodations provided because they thought of everything. You dont need to bring anything but food & clothes. They had a refrigerator, microwave, stove, sink, pots & pans, coffee maker with coffee and creamer, sugar, salt & pepper, soap, paper towels, etc. I could go on but you get the idea, They even had a colander for the kids mac & cheese. Bathroom same, fully loaded except shampoo and probably some of that but I didnt look. Charcoal and starter inside the grill. Somebody there is a little Princess and has thought of everything. Good programming on tv for the kids. You wont be disappointed.

    We spent a couple of weeks here in the pull through RV spot. The spot was nice with a full concrete pad, full hookups with cable TV. This is one of only a couple of spots that are available for short-term camping. Most of the other RV spots are taken up by folks that come to fish on the weekends. The owners are planning to expand and put in more sites for short-term camping in the future. We chose this spot for our winter vacation because it is known for excellent fishing. Even though it is the offseason we caught many different kinds of fish from the pier. We caught red drum, black drum, trout, sting ray, flounder, sheephead, eel and catfish. Some nights there was an abundance of mullet that we were able to catch for bait from the pier also. The sunsets were really nice and we saw dolphins more than once. The kids had a great time and we typically had the pier to ourselves during the week.

    Was blessed to become part of the Mom and Pops RV Family. Pat and Dina are Wonderful People and God has truly blessed them with the perfect place for others to Retreat, Relax and Fish of course! They have awesome RV Sites right on the water of Beautiful Copano Bay and Cabins, LOL (More like Luxury Resort Suites) that sleep 2, 4 and 6 people. Dina did a wonderful job decorating them and created an environment that would make anyone feel more than comfortable. Pat is constantly working to keep the RV sites and grounds up to exceed everones expectations. I personally base my Mens Ministry here and the guys love to come use their Kayak Launch and New 325 foot Fishing Pier. If you want a place for you and the Mrs. to get away, or even spend some time with the family in a location that is perfect for outdoor activities, or just want to come down to do some fishing in an awesome location, This is it!     Love, love, love Mom and Pops....we took our new RV on her main voyage and Dina and Pat were so helpful showing us the things we did not know. The pier was perfect and was equipped with chairs and nets. It is so quiet and peaceful, we could not have asked for a better experience. The sunsets are spectacular. We are already trying to plan a return trip before the end of the year.

    We just pulled out of our rv spot. It was hard to leave because we really enjoyed our time here. Its a nice quiet area with a great fishing pier. We loved how other towns were close by as well. Dina accommodated us for an extra night. We loved her hospitality. Overall this place is a gem for fisherman. We highly recommend. Cant wait to visit again.

    Stayed in a cabin. Owners are super nice and the property was well kept. Nice pier for those staying in an RV or cabin that has lights. Good wade fishing in the area. Caught a number of flounder, some trout and a few reds using artificial baits and a jig.

    Mom and Pops RV & Fishing Retreat is a hidden gem. We have been blessed to be a part of this rv park for around 15 years and have made so many awesome memories. The fishing on Copano Bay is great, the sunsets are amazing, the people there are all so wonderful. With the addition of the cabins, it is a great place to bring your family for the weekend or an extended stay. You just never know what you might catch on the pier!

    I absolutely enjoy staying at Mom & Pops RV cabins! This was my 2nd time to stay here and I highly recommend this place to all my friends including you! The private pier and the lights make it excellent for fishing at night and the fish cleaning station is a bonus! Personally I enjoy taking my kayak and fishing through out the day and then use the pier at night. The beds in the cabin are comfortable and the kitchen is great and fully equipped for your meals. I highly recommend staying here, I know I will be back again soon!

    This get-away retreat was Amazing, we had a great time even though it got cold and it rained. We fished and had great quality time out there. It was so peaceful and beautiful, and the owners were Amazing. The cabins were so homie and comfortable and super clean.     Stayed in Flounder Flat for a few days. Very nice cabin supplied with everything we could need. There are many personal touches that show how much the owners care about their visitors! Saw beautiful sunsets right from the cabin porch! Did some sightseeing in the area and even saw the whoopers (whooping cranes)!

    Dina & Pat are wonderful people, very helpful for taking care of there clients needs. We stayed in the reddish cabin it was very clean, cozy, beautifully decorated , all the amenities you need. Beds were very comfortable. Nice BBQ pit on the concrete pad in front of the cabins. Beautiful view of the bay & great sunsets. loved the pier for fishing, nice cleaning station, rod holders along the pier, chairs out on the pier for your comfort & well lit at night. We looked at all the cabins & they are all wonderful.We are definitely coming back

    Had a great time staying at Mom & Pops! Since they had a cabin available were we able to stay without a reservation when we showed up asking about the place. The cabin was clean and comfortable, especially the bed a pillows. We had a great time fishing on the pier ( only the end of the pier railing was lower than other piers) Mom was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you again for letting us stay on such short notice!!

    If I can give more stars... I would!My husband booked the Flounder Flat cabin for almost a week to celebrate my birthday. This was our first time at the retreat.First and foremost Dina and Pat are amazing hosts! They are so nice, friendly, responded to all our messages prior to staying and answered all our questions. We had concerns about leaving our kayaks and our fishing gear outside while we slept or went out for dinner....The retreat is extremely safe, quiet and is in the best location for fishing. We loved that we could launch from the property, then fish off the private pier all night and relax in an extremely clean cabin. The cabin had more than what I expected to make you feel like you are home away from home!I am looking forward to staying at Mom and Pops again real soon and bringing home more fish home!Thank you Dina and Pat for such a memorable birthday trip.My stay: 10/13/19 - 10/18/19... I am late on my review. Sorry!

    We had a wonderful time here! Our kids enjoyed it tremendously. We were within walking distance to the pier and the drive to the beach was convenient. We loved that we had access to an on-site pier. Our young kids were able to fish till they were ready for bed. Then my husband and older son would fish late into the night while we were in the cabin close by. The cabin was clean, well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Dina and Pat were very hospitable and would check on us throughout our stay. Oh and the sunsets were glorious which could be comfortably viewed from the porch. We will return and visit them again. It is one of the best places we have visited so far.

    Staying at Mom and Pops was beyond anything we could’ve asked for on our first trip as a family. Dina and Pat exceeded all expectations and the cabins truly were a highlight for the trip feeling more like a home away from home. She showed us a great beach nearby for our son’s first trip to the beach and it was an amazing experience there as well. The views were breath taking and I can’t even begin to describe the fishing and all the places Pat took us to!!! All together this place was the best family trip I’ve ever had and we can not wait to schedule another stay!     This was our first visit to Mom & Pops, but it won’t be the last. The pictures of the cabins are spot on and worth every penny you spend. The location is great. It’s very quiet, but also close enough to town. The fishing pier is a short walk from the cabins. All 3 cabins are decorated very stylish and has everything you need. Dina and Pat are great hosts, very responsive and checked on us throughout our stay. I highly recommend the cabins and can’t wait for our next stay.

    We have been coming to Mom and Pop’s for about 4 years now as our family has an RV here and we use to also rent an RV they had there before Harvey. We always have a great time and love the private pier and friendly people! We rented one of the new cabins this last time to have a little extra room for us and the cabins are so beautiful and clean! Also, very well equipped with kitchen supplies and a beautiful deck to sit on and look out at the bay! Pat and Dina are also very friendly and accommodating! We will rent a cabin again in the future!

    Had a great time at mom and pops. Fishing was excellent. The view was awesome. It rained a few times but enjoyed that also. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Although we didnt sleep much. Had to much fun fishing under the lights. Looking forward to my next visit soon.

    We have had our trailer here for years. Our family enjoys coming down and fishing. The pier is amazing. Can you say Fish On? Ha ha ha and the BEST sunset watching ever. My mother is a senior and she enjoys the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. If your looking for a fun get away and excellent fishing spot I highly recommend.The owners are TOP NOTCH!!!

    Me and a group of coworkers rented the redfish lodge. Wonderful experience. The cabin was super clean and well stocked with all the appliances and cookware needed for easy meals. There was also a grill with grilling utensils. There was even complimentary coffee! For being January we lucked out with great cool weather, little wind and the most amazing sunsets at night. The pier was well lit both above and below plus nets for bringing in the monster black drum we landed. Plenty of chairs on the pier too. The rv sites appeared well maintained. It was peaceful. Great times, I can’t wait to bring my family down again in the future!!

    We were lucky enough to be a part of their Veterans give away package. My bf and stepfather are both veterans. Me, my Mom and Stepdad, and my bf stayed 2 nights in the Redfish Lodge.     My family has a trailer at Mom and Pops, and we just adore it there. The owners and other tenants are extremely friendly. We’ve never had any problems with our stay. Also, the private pier right on the water has allowed me to reel in some awesome reds, trout, and lots of black drum! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun yet relaxing fishing trip.

    My family went down to Rockport for the weekend of July 4th, and was lucky enough to stay in a cabin at Mom and Pops RV and fishing Resort.Making a reservation was very easy.The cabin was absolutely perfect for our family. We traveled with our 3 month old and weren’t sure how much room we would have with all our baby gear (stroller, pack and play, bath tub, bouncy seat). We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw there was way more room than we anticipated.My husband loved the fact that he could walk a few yards to the pier and fish all day.It was evident the owners put love into these cabins because I truly felt at home from the moment we pulled up. Pat and Dina Murphy, both took time to come personally check on us. We can’t wait to go back!Make sure to take some time to check out the sunset from the pier- the most beautiful view in Texas!

    Mom and pops was an amazing experience, my family and I stayed in the Redfish cabin. The cabin was clean and tidy when we arrived. Very nicely decorated, with updated fixtures, comfy beds, TVs in every room, WiFi, Netflix and all the comforts of home. From the day we booked our stay, Dina was communicating with us. She gave us detailed directions, recommended fun things to do in the area, both for us and the kids., and made sure we had everything we needed. Our cabin had a great view of the water from the front porch, and the private pier was just a stones throw from our front door. Our first night there we had some cold weather, and Dina’s husband came by in the morning to make sure we were warm enough. You don’t get that kind of hospitality most places. We will definitely be back.

    I know its been built my Fisherman for Fisherman but...its Oh so much than that!!! The Cabins are so clean, comfortable & roomy.     This will definitely be our secret hide away. Shhh. Dena has made the cabins so cute. It is the perfect mix of cuteness for the ladies and fishing resort for the men. The cabins are fully equipped with everything you need to cook with.     We’ve been here a few days. Dina is lovely and very accommodating. Anything we needed, she was prompt and efficient. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The whole place is cozy and feels very family friendly. It’s private with a private fishing pier. We’ve had good luck with the fish, and the kids are having a blast catching them. The adults too!!! Definitely recommend a visit here! There is a small beach for close access. We also visited Rockport Beach and Port Aransas Beach. Both were easy driving distance. Perfect family vacation. We will return!

    Mom & Pop’s is the place to be! We felt at home the entire time! Dina and Pat are excellent hosts...we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We were in the 2 bedroom cabin that sleeps 6 and it was perfect! We were right by the pier, which was amazing! The sunsets can’t be beat. Bright pink, orange and green sky’s were what God displayed while we were there. Everyone had a blast! We’ll definitely be back!

    “We love this place!” We’ve had our RV parked here now for 8 years. Pat and Dina are truly two of the nicest people we’ve ever met. They always greet us with a hug and a smile. If your looking for a great place to fish, this is it!!! Whether you like to fish on the lighted pier, go fishing from a kayak, or choose to get in the water and wade fish, all of it can be done just steps away from the RV or a rental cabin.     We just love staying at Mom n Pops place. We love it so much we’ve been there three times this summer. The cottages are precious, and always clean. Dina adds little touches here and there to give the perfect beach home feeling. Pat is great with fishing tips when fishing on the private pier. Whether fishing or chillin’ with Netflix, it is quite relaxing. Mom n Pop’s is a great place to stay and we always meet such nice folks there.

    GREAT PLACE !!! I could not recommend Mom & Pops any more highly! I brought my camper here after having met the owners and seeing what truly nice people they are. At that point, it was a no-brainer, and luckily they had an opening for me. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Funny how nice people attract nice people... everyone you meet here is super friendly. I think we are all just happy to be here when we are at Mom & Pops, so friendliness just happens!The property is kept very well maintained, the grass is always cut, the dock is always clean, etc. It is also very quiet, and the long, lighted fishing pier is awesome. I have caught plenty of fish here both day and night including keeper-sized redfish, trout, flounder and black drum.Oddly, the mosquitos arent even as bad as other places in the area... of course there are some mosquitos, but quite minimal by comparison. I am not sure if this is due to some control that they do, or just the proximity to the bay and the wind coming straight from the bay most of the time.Even if you dont fish, you could just come for the PERFECT sunsets !

    Five stars doesn’t do this place justice. I’d definitely give them 10 stars if I could. They didn’t disappoint from the cabin to the fishing. Dina and Pat thought of everything when stocking up the cabins. From pots and pans all the way to Netflix and chill and everything in between. It’s a beautiful spot and very clean. The pier is private so no worries in having to deal with too many people. It’s a fantastic fishing spot. This’ll be our new home away from home. Thank y’all again for having us!

    This cabin is the coziest and quietest place in Rockport! Modern and I LOVED the open concept. Made for a lot of room. The private pier made for a lot of fun as well. Also, the owner is very kind and keeps in touch in case you need anything. Highly recommend to anyone! Oh, and the best part, you can each ur breakfast at the table while looking at the bay!

    If youre looking for a fishing getaway in Rockport, look no farther. There are 3 houses/cabins to pick from, all with views of the water! Really good views at that. You can just sit on your porch and gaze at the bay. The cabin we stayed in was one of their new constructions and you could tell from the minute you stepped in that a lot effort went into making it 5 star. It had everything from fast wifi, a cool remote controlled futuristic ceiling fan to a battery operated wine opener. The beds are Hilton quality and super comfy. There were plenty of extra towels, pillows and blankets too. Now to the fishing. Just steps from the cabins is a private fishing pier with lights for some awesome night fishing. They also built steps so you can make your way down to do some wade fishing or launch your kayak. Its very quiet and serene environment with friendly people.Pros: excellent location for pier/wade fishing, affordable rates, super friendly owners that are on site for anything you might need, modern, clean accommodations that doesnt smell like a bait shop ( no shrimp smell when you open the fridge) beautiful sunsets and water views from your porch !Cons: If youre into bar hoping or night life this might not the best location for that. My only other complaint is that we had to leave 😥

    I have been to Mom and Pop’s several times and it is a real treasure on Copano Bay! It’s a perfect getaway if you want to fish, relax, kayak or paddle board, swim, bird or dolphin watch; and you won’t find a better sunset view! There is a very nice shoreline for sliding in your kayak or paddle board, the sandy bottom is easy on your feet, so it’s fine for kids or adults. You can head over near the Copano Bay bridge or paddle around Newcomb point. The fishing amenities are great as well, with a large pier and plenty of shoreline to enjoy. The property is well maintained and the owners, Pat and Dina are so caring and friendly!

    Absolutely peaceful. This is a wonderful place to reconnect with your inner self if you are lost internally. Miss Dina and Pat make you feel like family, and that you are important in this world. The cabins are amazing. The beds are so comfortable they have the amenities you need just to relax and hey the gas station is a brisk walk away lol.     If you are seeking the peace and quiet of nature, you will find it here. Close to all amenities that Rockport has to offer yet set apart from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trade. We were awed by the tastefully decorated Flounders Flat cottage designed for two. Larger families enjoyed the other cabins and shared the fishing pier where we joked and chatted and met new friends. Its the perfect spot to park your RV for a short or extended stay. Love it,

    Best location to rent in Rockport Texas! We stayed in the Redfish Lodge which was perfect for our family. Fishing was easy with a private lighted pier. Redfish and speckled trout were biting in the morning, early evening and through the night. You can see the specs feeding off the lights once it gets dark. Dina and Pat were very accommodating and attentive to our questions and needs. We will definitely be back to rent soon!

    I have been fishing and camping for over 30 years. I have never been treated better or helped more in all those years. The RV sites are immaculate, the fishing dock and cleaning table are awesome. Oh and the Red fishing was crazy. The campground is secluded and really lets you leave some of the world behind for a few days...perfect retreat!
