This is a winery and a very good one in the Texas hill country. They do have a few cabins available. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating is available along with indoors.

We had a great time at the messina hof hill country: president cottage. It was located near driving distance from all the wineries . The cottage by itself was spacious, clean and a bottle of champagne was left for us with juice and muffins. Coffee was also available and the next day they refilled for us when we asked. The service was very prompt and cordial. If you decided to visit their winery, you will get complementary wine testing. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a great weekend visiting the wineries at fredericksburg and if you are handicapped the president cottage is also well

5 of us stopped here while visiting Texas Hills country. Loved the tasting room and all the wines we tasted. Loved their token system! Basically they give you tokens that you redeem at the bar for your next wine. They also have a small kitchen with apptz & small plates. The tomatoes on the bruschetta were as fresh as it gets!! The service was nice as well. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back when in town. Cheers!!

We love this place.We decided on a short trip and found the little cottages located on the Messina Hof property. We pulled up and thought how perfect it was! The sitting room is nice though we thought there should be a TV. The bathroom is a great size... Though no tub. The bedroom was large with beautiful high ceilings. We had a front and back porch with a table and chairs to drink wine outside. The complimentary bottle of wine and coffee cake was such a nice touch.We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Brought my sister here for the weekend as her bachelorette party and we both loved it!! The location is convenient for just walking to the tasting room and driving out to downtown. The paris cottage was clean and the complimentary mimosa and breakfast choices were very appreciated. Instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow and overall the weekend was peaceful... Would stay again for sure!!

Stayed at the President House did a wine tasting the day of arrival, and came back ther next day for a tour and another tasting with J.R. add the guide. Wonderful experience! Will be back again, Great wine, Great service. Knowledgeable staff was able to pair my preferences to their wide selection.

We always finish our wine tour at MH. They are open a little later and we enjoy sitting on the back patio watching the deer roam behind the cabins.The staff is always friendly and warm. We know what we like and they are more then happy to open our bottle, pour a carafe of water and give us to clean glasses.We’ll always end he day at MH.By the way the manger is great and offered us some wonderful dining options!

My wife and I spent a few nights in one of the cottages for our honeymoon while visiting the hill country. The cottage was perfect for privacy and providing a great view of wildlife off the back porch.We highly recommend staying here if youre staying in the area.Although it is not in Fredericksburg, the location is perfect for visiting the numerous wineries along 290 and escaping the buzz of the city.We are definitely going to stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Very nice winery, friendly staff, all clean and cozy. Michelle was our guide and she is knowledgeable, answered all question both for neophyte and winelovers, looks like she loves what she is doing and she is doing that great!!! Thank you Michelle, without you this visit would be just another winery visit.

This is a great place for a peaceful relaxing getaway! I received a great customer experience with Armando! You get to sample 5 wines for 12.00 and you get to keep your glass!

My wife and I stayed at one of the cottages, by far the best value youll find in town. The perks were great, rooms were clean and cozy. 10/10, would stay here again. Good wine too 😀

We stayed in Hoff Haus. It was awesome. Spacious room and just outside the tasting room. The wine is amazing and the staff are great. If you get a chance to go, I highly recommend it.
