    Such a beautiful community. Nice, friendly, welcoming people here. The atmosphere is relaxing, fun, and sunny! Ive caught fish, watched dolphins, and viewed a gorgeous sunset from my deck. Everything is always clean and well maintained. The activity center gives us something to do if we get bored at the house. This is my favorite place to be when Im on vacation.

    I love this little community! Overall, its pretty quiet. However, this morning, as we were leaving to have breakfast somewhere, we could hear some honking at a distance. Shortly after, we saw a golf cart with a USA flag driving down the street waving good morning. There was another right behind... it turned out to be a golf cart convoy. I really liked it!!! They all looked so happy this morning and ready to enjoy the day. Maybe Ill capture them tomorrow morning. Our rental includes pool access, but we havent gone in, just checked it out and it looks serene. Im eyeing that trail around the golf course, though. Maybe Ill take a jog Sunday morning before checkout. Our check-in was pretty easy and I like that theres a gate so that there is limited access to this area. I definitely recommend if youre looking for a peaceful stay away from home, yet close to South Padre Island.

    The variety of amenities is a nice selection but the activity areas could use a little face lift. The golf course grounds are beautifully maintained. If you are not a patient traveler or interested in aquatic engineering the moving bridge used to enter and exit the island community may be a difficult task to wait on but we thought it was charming. Our real joy was meeting long term members of this community and staff, such helpful and heart warming people!

    Overall, Long Island Village was a pleasant getaway. The accommodations were comfortable and the amenities were enjoyable. However, the abundance of mosquitoes significantly detracted from our experience. We may consider returning in the future, but only if the mosquito situation has improved.

    Great place to stay for a vacation. Most of the units weve stayed in are very clean and welcoming. The units on the intercoastal waterway offer great views and fishing.

    Frequent visitor, and I can tell you its fantastic, plenty of amenities pool, volleyball, library, golf, tennis. The people here are very friendly its quiet and the views are beautiful

    We stayed here for a few days and we really enjoyed our stay. Its not far from South Padre (10min drive). We loved our view and the overall relaxation vibe you get from staying here. My boys really enjoyed fishing right off the dock in the back of the house. Perfect getaway!

    Fantastic day at Long Island Village. The $90 amenities fee was well worth it, for access to a heated pool and hot tubs during our spring break stay in South Padre Island. The ocean was too cold, so having these options available to our little family was wonderful.

    I give five stars only because of the property manager Crystal. The house we rented had ac problems from the very beginning. Maintenance was sent out in a timely fashion due to Crystal. Our rental was through Vacasa. They did not offer to compensate for our time of having to move or the the two days we spent in the heat. Vacasa did relocate us but wanted to let us know that they were covering the extra charges. When I saw what they were covering it was not equal to what I had paid for our original location. The property manager Crystal went above and beyond to try and ease our problems. She is the reason for good customer service at this location. Employees like her make situations like this a bit better. We r truly grateful for the help she provided us.

    It was a nice place to stay. They staff are pretty cool, very helpful and fairly accommodating. Theres a car limit though as the streets are kind of narrow and each condo has only enough room for 2 cars. But if youre taking more than 2 cars, the others can just park at the front office area which has plenty of parking space.

    Natalie and Samantha are always so helpful and sweet. Never have any problems calling or going. Resort is very tidy and tons of amenities. Overall great place!

    The Long Island village was & is a very popular destinationEnjoying the stay and very organized communityPet friendly to a point/ as they Really need a Dog Park.The floating bridge should be noted but could cause some delays as it’s a slow process on opening & closing But then again part of the village culture

    Great location with water access as an option if you have a boat. Facilities are reasonably clean and safe with a great pool. Very affordable and good for a family staying awhile. Had a not great experience with AC unit but management made it right. Will go back next summer for sure.

    Beautiful, calm and peaceful mixed use park with RV lots, park models, sea cottages and homes for sale and for rent. Beautifully maintained property with a par 3 golf course, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzi hot tubs, clubhouse and restaurant. Most rentals are on a canal with boat docks and lifts.Gated community with onsite management. If it had a beach it would be perfect.

    Im still leaving 5 stars because it was only one incident and everyone else was polite.The guy currently at the front security gave us a hard time to get in, I asked for his name but he refused to give it.We tried entering like we have since we’ve been here and he made us reverse and wait at the intercom and then finally let us in, and I asked him why he did that and he said we needed a code.I explained we didn’t have one and he said I need to get one.I explained that we’ve been let through every day with no problems and if I could have his name, and he refused.Whoever was in there 12:38pm on January 1st.Very rude and unprofessional individual. Not how I wanted to start my new year

    Its a wonderful place to live. And stay for the winter. With in door pool and outdoor pool 3 hot tubs, weight rooms just everything you can ask for, oh yeah and a 18 hole par 3 golf course. Its paradise 😎

    Very nice place, clean and updated and the fishing is FANTASTIC! Theres always shade on the deck/patio...a big plus to sit outside and enjoy. Truly a great place to stay and unwind.

    I really like this place with its proximity to the bay and its chill inhabitants. Its mostly a winter Texan hangout, but its becoming a weekend destination for many RGV families. The biggest drawback is the exorbitant park fees that each resident must pay every month. But, the fees do include a club house with a pool, a golf course, a work out room, pool tables, and a dance hall.

    This is a very nice hidden gem in Port Isabel that is located on the water. Lots of amenities, golf, pool, laundry and activities. The sites are smaller and getting around in a big pick up truck can be difficult. Mostly permanent houses and rental vacation units.

    This is a great place to stay during your trip to Port Isabel and South Padre Island. They have several amenities and are conveniently located next to the bay bridge that takes you to the island. Its a bit spendy.

    This is a great community. There is a par 3 golf course that is very challenging. There is also an indoor and outdoor pool, exercise room, shuffleboard, mini golf, tennis courts, basketball court, pool tables, etc.
