    Enjoyed my time here.... The lake was beautiful...rooms were chill. Steak house across the street...very safe my family and I felt....20 min from Decatur...1 hr from ft wrt.....but on a personal note its a very very conservative area which I felt iffy because Im super far left....but I promise you the people of this community are super nice no way did I ever feel uncomfortable I had an amazing experience here and will def come again....and the office lady is super chill she trusted me with the properties equipment like she knew me mind you Im a 6 foot Mexican cholo homie....I fell in love with the peace and tranquility that the lodge provided. Planning for summer next year.

    Great location. Beautiful view.The rooms are a bit dated but, very cozy. I would definitely stay again based on my overall experience there. There are several activities to do if you love the outdoors.

    Quiet, remote location, next to the bay.Went last Autumn. Weather was perfect.PROS:Bay View.Decent condominium.Clean and quiet surroundings.Management was very nice.Nice movie selection.Reba (golden retriever) was a high point.Perfect for relaxing, reading a book, and enjoying a good movie.-----------CONS:Something biting us at night in bed.--------One of its prominent features: crane flies - lots of them. Perfect for feeding a pet lizard.

    They have been the best. Gave me great rates. I come about 3 to 4 times a year. Recently, I came down for a passing of my brother. No question asked I came in and got with Barbara 4 days later never asked for a payment just kept asking about family. Wasnt worried about the money

    Not much to do but the unit we had was very clean, comfortable, and big.Yes its old but it is also not a chain but is privately owned. They are working on upgrades and they deserve praise. We will definitely come back when in the area.

    Location depends on the lake level. It is next to a place directly adjacent from a boat ramp. Only activities: tennis, swimming, horseshoes, golfing, fishing, and a former service station now turned mostly restaurant which has excellent food. Not too bad of a spot from a timeshare.

    The hot tub was closed for the summer but other than that it was a 1970s feel clean rooms I would come and stay.

    This place is amazing. We had a waterfront condo and enjoyed very much. The condo is very roomy and kept up very well. Swimming, boating, fishing so much to do. There is grills provided to cook whatever you would like and also picnic tables to sit at. Come and relax and enjoy the views. There also is many places close by to eat and grocery shop. We will be back.

    Old but quaint. The condo is clean and has comfortable furniture. Fire place with a view right on the lake. Not high end at all but for a Texas lake lodging its very nice. We checked in after hours and the key was in the lock box as expected. Office is closed today but we will register tomorrow when it opens in the morning.

    The staff answered the phone on the first call and was very friendly and helpful. The rates are affordable - we stayed in a Deluxe room. It was clean, well kept and spacious. The Deluxes are on the water so you can just walk out and sit or even fish. Ill be back.

    Since we could not be with extended family over the holidays, we came to The Lodge for a quiet and safe holiday getaway. We found private and comfortable accommodations. The kitchen was adequately stocked with equipment so we could cook a fairly traditional meal. Linens were of high quality and adequately stocked. Barbara kindly answered several questions/concerns. Especially during this time of covid, we felt extremely safe and comfortable in the accomodations. Thank you for a safe travel experience hundreds of miles from home.

    Patsy was the sweetest lady , she answered all my questions and lord only knows I had a bunch. She even stayed late for me to come by and check out the property. The room was super clean a lil dated but for what we needed it for was PERFECT!!! We planned on boating and cooking out with friends in the area so we needed a place to sleep, shower and have a lil breakfast. It has a small pool and the boat ramp is within walking distance.

    Large room...very clean...although it is older, I really enjoyed being there. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook and serve ameal. Large floor to ceiling windows. Very nice.

    Great place to stay only 1 problem. They dont have a wheelchair ramp.Had to carry our guest up the steps. No easily done with his Mother being in her 60s. Her son is 39. Wishing I had asked the question if there was a ramp..

    Very clean. Very nice people. Needs some updating. The pool was good but needs repair. I would go back. Need a boat to really enjoy it but is an okay drive to Ft Worth.

    Great getaway place. Caught to many fish to count . View from the room was awesome. Staff was very accommodating and even gave me tips on where to fish.

    The staff was fantastic.They gave me information on the best fishing. The accommodations were awesome with fireplace and kitchen. Very responsible priced.

    Great geataway location, we played some great golf and the staff was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and the view of the lake from the room was great
