Hunters Ridge and the staff are 2nd to none. The cabins are clean and roomy and are set up for all of your needs whether its cooking indoors or lighting the BBQ and enjoying the outdoors. My kids truly enjoyed their stay there and are looking forward to going back. I highly recommend Hunters Ridge for any family. I would give it a 10 star rating if that was an option.

I recently stayed at this beautiful cabin and had the most amazing experience. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of our trip was definitely the swimming pool - it was perfectly heated and we spent hours relaxing and swimming in the crystal-clear water.Our host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. They were always available to answer any questions we had and even provided us with some great recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.Overall, I cannot recommend this cabin enough. It truly exceeded all of my expectations and I cannot wait to come back again in the future. Thank you to our wonderful host for making our stay so memorable!

My first dove hunt trip was phenomenal, which was in large part due to my experience at Hunter’s Ridge Cabin! The owners, Trent and his wife, were extremely friendly, welcoming, and hospitable.The cabins were spacious and clean. The food was exceptional.Most of our time at Hunters Ridge was spent around the pavilion playing corn hole, watching football, and sitting by the pool.Hunters Ridge is conveniently located near multiple fields prime for dove hunting.We will definitely be back next year!!

Trent and Wendy are wonderful hosts! I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the cabins for 3 years now, and always look forward to coming back from a day of dove hunting to a clean cabin, delicious food, and a great hangout spot. I’ve brought along my dog with me the last couple of years, and they love her as much as I do! I look forward to our time here because I know we’ll be well taken care of at our home away from home.

We rent our cabin for two months during deer and we can’t express enough good things about staying there, Wendy and Trent Jordan are awesome and make us feel like family. They even let us decorate for the holiday.

Hunters Ridge Cabins is our groups go-to for all things Concan vacation. Wendy and Trent are incredible hosts! This is the third year we have stayed here to dove hunt in the Uvalde area, and everything is first class. Comfortable beds, clean clean cabins, impeccable service. My group rented all 5 cabins for the weekend, and Trent catered for a total of 27 people. We were able to hunt, watch college football, cool off in the pool, and enjoy great food in the on site pavilion without an ounce of stress. I would highly recommend staying at Hunters Ridge Cabins and enjoying everything this great family has to offer!

This place was spectacular! Cabins were clean & spacious with lots of sleeping space plus a split floor plan and front porch to sit on with a fabulous view. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was yummy plus they have a pool/hot tub for when you’re not floating the nearby Frio river. We will definitely be back in the fall for dove season and to see the colors change on the trees . Don’t hesitate on this one… def worth every dollar that was spent 💜‼️

I’ve been staying at Hunter’s Ridge Cabins for the past 3 years for dove hunts in the area, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The owner, Trent is salt of the earth and I look forward to coming back every year!

This cabin we stayed in it is great. It had plenty of room to sleep 10 people.. it was always windy so we could sit out and feel the windy. Has everything that we needed. I loved sitting on front porch in rocking chairs watching traffic go by. He also cooks food out there on Weekends to eat and was very good. The owners are super nice and friendly to talk too. The also have a swimming pool too.This is a very nice place to stay. Maybe be back next summer Togo to Garner Park

Trent and Wendy were incredible hosts! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The cabin is located in the perfect location with pretty views of the surrounding hills. Located close to town and Garner State park. Gas station/Market, restaurants, and river outfitters right around the corner. Each unit has everything you could need. Really enjoyed our private fire pit and BBQ pit right outside our unit. The bedrooms are a great size and the kids loved the queen sized bunks. Pool and outdoor pavilion is being constructed now. Cant wait to come back and stay in the cabin again

My family and I have been coming to Concan for a decade now, and have stayed at many cabins in and around the Frio. We absolutely LOVED Hunters Ridge, and will definitely be staying again. Pet friendly (we bring our fur baby everywhere and they treated him like family), minutes from all the best tube rentals, our cabin was spacious, clean & fully stocked. They have a pool, hot tub, fire pit and restaurant on site (the pulled pork was 🤤), so when we were done adventuring it was great to relax at the end of a long day.... and the sunsets were as amazing as the stars at night. Hunter’s Ridge is a top notch stay! We stayed in Cabin 5 and it is clean, modern, and comfortable. We enjoyed excellent food, great WI-FI and amenities. Trent & Wendy are great hosts!

The Owners and their Family were nothing but heartwarming, generous, friendly and nothing less than accommodating. It was beautiful, and me and my family enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend any friends and family to go visit Hunters Ridge Cabins. And Mrs. Wendy and Mr. Trent included my granddaughter in helping keep the place clean and feed the animals. We will definitely be back again. And dont pay attention to the Review from Sarah Burell she doesnt know what she is talking about. So just bypass her comment. Love yall! Be safe!

My family of 4 had a great time at HRC in Concan for Spring Break 2021. The cabins are sized nicely and have a full kitchen including fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, dishes, drinkable water, and all the cooking tools you’d need to prepare a great meal. We stayed in cabin #4 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One king sized bed, and a queen sized bunk bed. Cool patio with a picnic table and a very nice charcoal grill in the front.The owners are attentive and very friendly, they really want everyone to enjoy their facility and use it as a base to make those special family moments.We enjoyed the proximity to Garner State Park and spent the day hiking Old Baldy and swimming in the Frio River. Be sure and reserve a day pass through Texas Parks and Wildlife well in advance if you want to visit Garner. There are several outfitters in the area if you would like to go tubing. Other attractions are live music on the weekend at close by establishments too.If you like the outdoors, but like to have some creature comforts too, Hunter’s Ridge Cabins is a great spot for a family getaway.We’re planning to come back in the summer too.

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Hunters Ridge. From the reservation process and responsiveness of the owners to our check out, the place is amazing. As it stands it’s well worth every penny spent , but the owners have an even bigger vision they’re working towards that will make Hunters Ridge a truly unique and awesome Concan experience. We’re already looking at our Fall & Summer schedules to see how quickly we can book another trip. The cabins are immaculate and well stocked. The beds are all incredibly comfortable…even the pull out sofa is a memory foam mattress!! The grounds are fantastic including privacy, shade, firepits/grills, and swings with each cabin. Then there’s the pool+pavilion area that was just put in. Once that area is fully done it will be even more magical. When considering places to stay in Concan, I HIGHLY recommend Hunters Ridge Cabins.

Where do I start...the owner, Wendy, was so kind and accomodating over the phone and helped me find the cabins and made me feel comfortable about stayng there when I am traveling by myself across Texas.Next, within 5 minutes, I met the familly and was so comfortable and every single person made me feel like I was family who had just came back home to visit!Trent, the other owner and Wendys husband, cooked dinner that night! The most amazing chicken fry steak, mashed potatoes, gravy snd a piece of carrot cake for dessert! I had gone to watch the Frio Bat Flight and it was waiting for me when I got back! He made sure that the hot tub was heated and ready for me to relax after the amazing meal!The entire experience impacted me in such a positive way that I have been telling anyone I talk to about my trip to Concan and the amazing time at the Hunters Ridge Cabins! I will be back and spend more time next trip!THANK YOU TRENT, WENDY AND THE FAMILY!!!

We just returned from Hunter’s Ridge Cabins and I have already booked our next stay. There is no other place I would want to stay. The owners are so accommodating and wonderful. The cabin is a large 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms. There is a full kitchen, a living room with a large tv on the wall, and a dining room. There are rocking chairs on the front porch, with fire pits, and a bar-b-que pit. The grounds have a brand-new giant swimming pool with a hot tub. There is also a laundry center to clean your clothes. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pan, silverware, glassware, serving ware, and even spices. The owners are top notch and I would never stay anywhere else.
