    Awesome place to stay. Seriously this place has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Kitchen has high end appliances with all types of cooking items. The resort was spotless when we arrived. I honestly can’t think of anything that needs improvement. I know nothing is perfect but this place maybe perfect. At least it is for my hubby and I.Thank you for sharing your place.

    This was our second time staying atWestwind. We have a new baby, plus older kids from ages 11 to 20. It was just as expected with amazing views from all rooms along the back of the house. It was perfectly clean and well stocked with all the necessities. I am very picky about cleanliness and this house surpasses my expectations. All appliances are high quality and work well. The management is very proactive and responsive, although we didn’t have any trouble during our stay. So many different activities made it a great time: kayaks, ping pong, rope swing, swimming, popcorn machine.. so much fun. We can’t wait to stay again next year!

    We had a family Thanksgiving on the Llano River this year. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of beds. The kids room was great and they played a lot of pool. We played ping pong too! The kids enjoyed the swimming pool for a short time even though it was cold. It would have been nice if the pool could be heated. The views were beautiful and there were plenty of chairs outside to enjoy the view! The Bluetooth surround sound feature was great too! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had some great family fun!     We had a amazing time at the Azure Relaxing 1 and 2 properties! Beautiful grounds, spacious home and amenities. Beautiful views of the lake! We couldn’t ask for anything more! Property management was attentive, responsive, and friendly. Wonderful space for hosting a large group. We look forward to booking again!

    Second year in a row our entire family stayed at Azure Relaxin 1and 2. Only way to go for large groups. Nothing fancy but clean and up to date. Staff is amazing.

    Such a Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood! Surprised my family as a gift for Christmas. My niece and nephew loved it, seeing them come down the stairs for Christmas will forever be imprinted in my heart and memories! We all agreed to do it again at this Beautiful Cabin! Thank yall for allowing my family and I this amazing experience for Christmas!

    Enchanted Valley. Lakehouse was amazing. The owner thought of every detail to make sure we were comfortable from labeling where to find all the kitchen supplies, which by the way, is very well stocked with everything you might need to creat a great meal, to extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath salts, etc. super clean and comfortable. The lake and the dock are amazing. They have an electronic platform attached to the dock to lower you and kayaks into the water. They have lots of great outdoor space and patios. This is a super high end house for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning.

    Nice, relaxing get away. The house was clean, comfortable and in a good location. Our teens loved using the two kayaks and playing ping pong in the game room. The adults and our dog loved the sunset views from the deck.

    Gorgeous house and views!! Very clean and has enough parking and we felt safe! Can’t recommend this house enough! Perfect for our group of ladies for a girl’s weekend celebrating a 40 year friendship!! Host was very responsive!

    Our family spent four nights at herons rest, and we had a great time. The house was very comfortable even for our large group. It was spotlessly clean and well outfitted for such a group with just about everything we needed. The kids loved the access to the lake and had a ball tubing, kayaking, and just swimming and horsing around with each other. If you have a big group, this is the place to be.

    This is our second time staying at this property and third time staying with Hill Country Stays for our annual family vacation. They continue to be amazing!! Very communicative, the home was extremely clean and had all the amenities promised and more! Highly recommend!

    Lakeside Retreat is one of the finest homes my family has ever vacationed at. We had 3 families which included 9 adults and 2 children. Everyone had a bed and there was even an extra top bunk. With the pools, cabana and lake front we never had to leave. The kitchen was fully equipped and bedrooms were a great size with comfortable beds. This is the first home we have stayed at that my husband is ready to book for next summer. Everyone was very happy.

    Our family group of 19 had a fabulous time at Heron’s Rest! The open living space, large deck with gas fire pit, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, fenced in grassy play space, fire pit next to the lake, (firewood provided), kayaks, and paddle-board made for a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving getaway. The home was clean, with easy check-in and communication.

    We enjoyed our 4 night stay at A Stones Throw Away. The house was clean, roomy and bright. The coffee center was especially convenient. Really, the air hockey, fussball, video games, board games - it was all perfect for our family get-together. The one negative was the internet connection. We were basically unable to watch anything on TV without pauses and drops due to slow internet.The nature lovers in our family enjoyed seeing the deer in the neighborhood.We would definitely stay here again.

    Spacious home. Heat was not working when we arrived but was promptly addressed when I texted next morning. Loved the lake view and the outdoor deck. House is very dated but well stocked and comfortable.

    Great place to stay! The pool was a bit messy on arrival, but the pool person arrived next morning on his scheduled time and cleaned it perfectly. Melody the manager was absolutely the greatest person for direct contact prior to our stay and on arrival. She saved the day!!! We absolutely had a great time!

    Our stay at this lakefront house (sunrise shores) was absolutely perfect! The stunning lake views and great property made for an incredible family getaway. The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a fantastic deck for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.We loved having our own private dock for swimming, using the properties water toys and enjoying afternoon picnics. The host was incredibly accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. We had a minor problem with the ice maker and the company sended someone to fix it immediately.This place is a true gem and ideal for creating lasting memories. We’ll definitely be returning for another stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect lakeside getaway!

    We enjoyed our time at Hidden Hallow. The place was very clean and well stocked. The dock area was fun for fishing and room for our kayak. We enjoyed the screen in porch during the rain. We would definitely rent this place again.

    Had one of the best outings with the family in a long time. Even though we brought our own paddle boards the site had three kayaks and two paddle boards for use. The neighbors were awesome as well and allowed the kids to use their slide into the lake/river. We did not have to leave the house for anything as it was provided however some did choose to make a run to a little HEB in town. Highly recommend a stay at this location and we will probably make this an annual vacation spot.

    We had a wonderful stay at Paddle Time this past week. It was the perfect place to meet for our Summer Family Get-together.The house was clean and well furnished with everythingwe needed and then some...the rec room with ping pong, basketball etc. was a bonus! The views of the sunsets were awesome.

    Had a wonderful time over spring break with my family. The home is beautiful and so clean. It has everything you can need and we paid extra to have the pool heated. The home is in a quiet gated community and was perfect for our situation. While out there we visited the caverns which I highly recommend.

    Blue Truck Ranch was amazing! Seven women on a Girls Trip, each with our own bed sharing cottages. My favorite quiet and reflection time was the fire pit. Great gathering room and so much space. Best equipped kitchen ever!

    We stayed at the home in Marble Falls and it was perfect! We appreciated the little touches like food coloring, since we were staying over Easter weekend. The beds were very comfy and there was plenty of space for everyone to be inside. Having access to the water toys was a huge plus! The kids had a fantastic time in the water and in the large yard playing soccer or on the small swing set. It was a great stay~

    What a wonderful get away to the Blue Truck Ranch! So quiet and relaxing, and still close to so many fun adventures. We enjoyed day trips to Fredericksburg, Marble Falls and Burnet then returned to beautiful, clean cottages and the most comfortable beds!! ~ next time we’ll visit Enchanted Rock.

    Very clean, nice and well presented home. My wife, son, and daughter-in-law plus two great dogs (all retired) enjoyed getting away from the city. While we didnt use the toys... they certainly would please young families.ProsDogs are welcome and the outside is fenced. Our dogs have far less potential for mischief than our kids when they were young. More places should be dog friendly like this one.Well appointed furniture and comfortable design. Master bed was great.Outside features like--patio set, fire pit, exterior lighting, gates, and a super gas grill--all were all outstanding.ConsFew...minor ---but things to know.No ice maker and very few clothes hangers.Way too many threat messages and warnings. I understood what drives them... but put all of them into the already large amount of pages required at the initial booking...and let guests enjoy the stay with less auto-texts or emails, or signs. I have lawyers; but maybe we should not pay them by the word. Just my personal opine but vacation time for me is getting away from it.VRBO, which I have used for a very long time, continues to be a great source of nice properties. However...it has turned into a fee-generating, insurance selling, marketing bot. If there is another fee (like credit card usage) ...like airlines...they will pile it on... without many real services beyond the listing. That is left to the host who has fees too...but actually does a lot.Just know when you look for your property...that the price featured at the top of the page is vastly different from the cost.Back to the house.... good....go...you will have fun.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Paddle Time out in the Texas Hill Country. We are Texas natives, but wanted to get away fro the weekend with family. The kids had a great time with all the games and water toys in the garage. We will definitely be coming back to stay here.

    We stayed at Harbor House with our two grandkids (7&9) and had a fantastic time! The house was extremely well equipped and we spent a lot of time in the pool and fishing off the nearby pier. Not to mention the ping pong table and basketball hoop in the garage. We plan to return!

    Beautiful and peaceful location with lots of space for a large group to gather and cook and enjoy the water, walks and bike rides and still find private space when needed. We watched the eclipse from the dock. Our hosts did a great job of communicating with us throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

    We stayed at the Triple L property over the New Year holiday. The house was very nice, stocked with everything necessary. We used the dock to fish and hang out since the weather was good, and caught several large catfish. Hill Country Stays made the booking easy and they were very helpful throughout our stay. Were looking forward to our next trip.

    Living the Dream was the perfect blend of kitschy lake decor and must-have amenities for our 2-family weekend get-away. Beautiful view of the lake and lots of room to spread out and find just the right spot to read book, play games and relax with friends/family. We loved having the pool and hot tub in addition to the lake for water-based fun. Everything was well-maintained, beds were comfy and communication was excellent! When can we go back???

    We had a wonderful time!! The home is beautiful and right on the water. The beds were comfy and had everything we needed for a party of 9 for a long weekend. The only thing missing was an awning or perhaps some curtains to block the afternoon sun in the living room & on the back patio (especially when its 100+ outside...gotta love Texas summers!). The owners checked on us when we arrived and were in quick contact with any questions we had. We would definitely come back again!!

    We completely enjoyed our stay at Pecan Pie! My parents spend the winter just down the road, so it was perfect for our family of 4. In fact, we even had a bedroom we didn’t use. You could easily sleep 7 people. Super clean. Very quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes surrounding it. Our only complaint was the neighbor’s dog wasn’t leashed and approached our door during our stay. However, if we ever visit Kingsland again, we will be staying here!

    We had a wonderful time exploring the blooming TX hill country and watching the total solar eclipse at a Hill Country Stays property. The Hill Country Stays team are extremely prompt, helpful, and friendly in responding to any questions, including sending someone out immediately on a Sunday night to resolve an issue with the A/C at the property.     We had a great weekend at The Lookout on LBJ. It is two complete houses, one on top of the other. With all the bedrooms and baths, we had lots of space for our three generation family. We really enjoyed the pool table, and the kayaks and water toys kept the kids entertained. The location is great and we like that part of the lake. I didn’t give it five stars just because there were a couple of things that need to be addressed. We hope to go back next year. I’m sure those areas will be improved and The Lookout will easily rate five stars. It’s a special place for families to get together and enjoy a neat weekend at the lake.

    Stayed in Azure 2 and rest of family stayed in Azure 1. The combination of the two made for very good family get together. Excellent pool and fenced yard great for our dogs. Azure 2 was well appointed with all of our needs. House was clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed. Folks at Hill Country Stays were a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait to go back.

    The cabin that I rented was fully equipped, shampoos, body washes, detergents, towels, blankets, pillows, you name it and they had it. The host was super responsive too. Location was amazing. We did get to use the kayaks and other water toys. We were also able to swim in the river since the weather was awesome that day. Overall it was a very pleasant trip for us.

    Home was lovely and well maintained. It was very convenient to restaurants and Camp Longhorn! The layout of the home is great for a large family gathering with children. Each bedroom has a private bath and with 2 living areas, there is plenty of space! Would definitely recommend!

    What a great property for our summer lake vacation! We loved the shaded yard down to the boathouse, and the pool was a great bonus. The fact we had no neighbors across made it even more relaxing.This is the only single story home I have seen on LBJ/Marble Falls as a rental. Our dog truly enjoyed her lake experience swimming around the jet ski platform.I would highly recommend the Azure houses & Hill Country Stays to anyone looking for a great waterfront property & mgmt team.Leigh Anne

    We stayed at Bedford Haven over the weekend, enjoyed seeing deer as we were leaving early Saturday morning and returning after dark Saturday evening. A very peaceful community. House was well appointed, met all our needs, wish we would have had more time to enjoy the area, the nice covered back porch and yard. This will be a location we visit again when we are in the area next time.

    Hill Country Stays (HCS) did everything I could ask for to make our stay stress free. They gave very detailed information to get us to the rental location and in the door. The information about the location was very helpful and accurate. HCS checked on us during the stay and when the stay was over. Kelly was awesome and I will use them again.

    This was a great little spot for my wifes birthday weekend! The dock is great for swimming and fishing - we used it extensively! The outside sitting area and covered porch was also a hit. Very easy to get into town for groceries and other items. This was a perfect place for our trip!

    The Birds Nest rental in KingslandAll in all this was a good value for money property. We had 6 people and were comfortable.I wanted to list out pros and cons. And to be clear. There are more pros than cons. I will start with the cons. It’s a shorter list.Cons.- All the showers need some work. Probably new shower heads and handles. But the showers did work and were fine.- boat access is hard. You can technically get a boat down the cove but it’s super shallow and probably requires you know the channel more than we did.- not really any fish that far down in the channel if you like to fish.- we would have liked to see and few more pantry items. There was salt and pepper but that’s about it.- you need to make ice. Fridge is not set up for it. Nor does the fridge have water and my kids said they didn’t like the tap water so we ended up buying a bunch.- needs some bbq tools.Pros- overall clean house.- coffee pots. Both reg and pods. :-)- washer and dryer- sports court was great. Pickle ball and basketball.- kayaks. There are three large ones and two small. Kids loved them.- really nice outdoor fit pit. But you do need to get wood.- plenty of seating by fire pit- propane grill works great.- wifi is good. Did a couple of work zooms- dining room table seats six. Worked for us.- large tv in bedroom and living room.- plenty of parking.- not far to stores and town. HEB is close.- nice dock area for sitting and relaxing.- outside string lights were nice in the evening.- the casita was nice. But be aware it’s not right next to the house. It’s down at the dock at the end of the yard. Not far and worked great for us.- host agency hill country rentals were super responsive both prior to visit and during.Again. All in all I think it was great value and it was clean and worked well for us. Hope this helps.

    This house has a lot of positives. It was very clean. The dock facility was good. All of the appliances worked well. The a/c didnt work that well but the temperature got up to 108 so we gave that a bit of a pass. The biggest downer was the televisions. They were all very old and did not have most of the apps we would have liked to use, such as YouTube TV. We couldnt get the living room TV to work at all. None of them worked well. While the lake is the main attraction, it was so hot we needed to spend some time inside and it would have been nice for the TVs to have worked. An investment by the owners of a few hundred dollars in electronics would make this a 5 star review.

    We really enjoyed our stay here! Perfect location on the river, next to a calm canal, good for our kayaking. Plenty of room for parking, great deck space. Large main house and the other guest house was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this AirBnB.

    We stayed in the Paddle Time Property and it was excellent. The house was well appointed (the best equipped kitchen Ive encountered in a vacation rental) and had a great layout for our two families. The service from Hill Country Stays was way better than you get from most AirBnB style rentals. Well be back, either at this property or any property offered through Hill Country Stays.

    Very comfortable and spacious house and grounds! Loved that there were 2 refrigerators and a separate ice maker in the kitchen! We cooked a big meal each day. Many pots and pans and dishes for our large family. As a grandparent, it was so nice to sit outside and watch our grandkids go by on the jet ski machines that they had rented. Plenty of room for people to spread out. We had 4 grandkids fishing from the dock and another 2 in the pool, a son-in-law reading on the patio overlooking the lake, and other adults sitting on the covered patio by the pool. Our grandkids said this was the best house we have ever rented with the pool table, all the games, pool, fishing, and access to the jet ski rental, plus all the room to spread out for privacy.

    Great place for large family get-togethers! Very clean and well appointed. The pool and deck areas were very nice too. I only wish the lake itself was in better shape but maybe next time!

    The house worked very well for our family. We loved the back porch. It was incredibly hot, but that is life in Texas right now. Unfortunately the grass was overgrown with tens of thousands of sticker burrs that created a huge hazard for anyone walking down to the beach. You guys sent out a mowing crew but it just spread the stickers. I would suggest a weekly mow to prevent the overgrowth. Everyone had to put on full shoes and carry the children on each trek. We did have 2 sightings of an adult fox who wandered the back porch and climbed on the grill area as if he were right at home. He ran off once he saw us so dont think he was sick- just checking for snacks. We would definitely rent this one again. Great family time

    This will be my fourth time renting with hill country stays. My family make it a point to get together every spring/summer for a lake house weekend and we have never been disappointed. Llano vista was new to us this year and I think it may be our favorite! Everything was so well thought out with all the things they have in the home for us to use. The soap/shampoo/conditioner amenities, dish soap and a new sponge, so many little details that they thought of. We are already looking forward to another trip!

    We absolutely LOVED our stay at this house! The amenities are first class. I can’t think of a thing that wasn’t there that we needed. The pickleball court was amazing to have; the front and back porches provided such quiet time for mornings and evenings. I WILL BE BACK!!!

    My wife and I had a wonder weekend getaway @ the cabin on Lake LBJ. The cabin is small, nice, clean, and well appointed. But the best feature of this rental - is the Location. What an amazing location on the lake to watch the boats go by, what the geese, fish, or just relax with a cup of coffee.

    We loved our stay! It was the perfect way to bring in 2023. The property was in excellent condition, our experience was refreshing and relaxing. On another note the team that manages the property is wonderful, we left something in the unit and they accommodated its return perfectly.

    Great location and awesome property. Took some boys out for the weekend to ride ATV/UTV on the trails, learn to make a fire, and hangout. Longhorn Caverns is within 10 min and many other fun things. Plan to go back and take more people.
