Hill Country Premier Lodging has outdone itself. We stayed in a beautiful cabin. Everyone in our large group had plenty of space to rest, relax, and enjoy this amazing property. It seems as though you are far away for civilization when the bulls and cows come grazing by in the early morning. The views are spectacular but the property is very close to downtown San Marcos. I highly recommend and will be coming back. 💜💜💜🐄🤠💜💜💜 -

We love this cabin. The property is gorgeous and secluded, no main home anywhere near the cabin. The hot tub is spectacular, the place is spotlessly clean, love being able to charge our EV on site. The place is big enough for two couples with two bedrooms, laundry etc. we’ve been twice and will continue to book here on our future Winberly area trips. -

The cabin was very comfortable and attractive. The recycled wood and stone were nice details. You had to look really hard to find any scratches, and I found only one. The porch view was exceptional. -

Perfect vacation. The stars were so bright, sun rise & sets were amazing. The fence around the house made for a perfect playground for my dogs and we took lots of walks on the property outside the fence. The house had everything we needed to make our stay great. -

Very calm and restful location. Lovely scenery and spot to sit outside. Very comfortable and perfect as a place to sleep while visiting my brother in Wimberley. The only issue for me was backing out of the driveway! But, I got better with each try ;) -

This is our new favorite cabin in Wimberley. The view is amazing for morning coffee and romantic sunsets. A couple of hiccups but were corrected within the hour of notifying HCPL. Will definitely rent again. -

We checked in on a Sunday and left on Firday, it was peaceful and quiet the entire time. Beautiful little cabin with an amazing porch with a beautiful view. -
Review 8 (2025-01-02 - Rating: 5)
As our family gathered for the weekend, we were all very impressed with the house. Loved the old cabin feel it had. -
Review 9 (2024-07-03 - Rating: 5)
Perfect place for a mommy and daughter get away! The stay was perfect and comfortable. We also had so much fun shopping in Wimberley and walking the 222 steps to the top of Old Baldy to overlook the beautiful hill country. -

Hill Country Premier Lodging is a 10 out of ten. My wife did a little Valentines weekend getaway, and it was perfect. So peaceful and tranquil. The cabin or small house was so cozy but very HGTV decorated. We loved it and will definitely go back! -
Review 11 (2025-01-07 - Rating: 5)
Hello, this place was exactly what I was looking for. Had a lot to do in the game room. The lights around the fire pit had a warm inviting ambience. The jacuzzi was perfect with warm water ready for us to get in. The only thing issue is that the shower was slippery when getting in. Please be careful. The bedrooms were beautiful & plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed to start cooking & the living room was comfy. Will stay again. -
Review 12 (2024-12-03 - Rating: 5)
This little house is ideal for us--close to family members who live in Wimberley and gives the two of us space! We like the new remodel since we last stayed there. The side covered porch is ideal for this November weather. Appreciate being able to use the washer and dryer! Wish the fridge had an ice maker and that the master bedroom had a new, more firm mattress that does not sink down so much. We would sleep better. -
Review 13 (2024-12-05 - Rating: 5)
We had a wonderful girls’ trip at this cottage on the creek. It was so cute! The sleeping porch with 3 twin beds was absolutely charming! There were 4 of us and only one bathroom. But we didn’t even care. Somehow it all worked out perfectly. Love the proximity to Wimberley shopping! -
Review 14 (2024-11-05 - Rating: 4)
The location was wonderful! The view was spectacular. The hot tub and Foosball table were a bonus. Our grandkids almost 4 and 5 1/2 loved hanging out in the room where you entered with the kid size table. The only downside was the dated bathroom. Occasional issue with toilet flushing but that was mentioned in the listing. And the bathtub could use repair or be replaced. I would stay here again. -
Review 15 (2024-11-15 - Rating: 5)
There were a few hiccups when we first arrived but Hill Country Premier Lodging was very responsive and quick to remedy the situation. There were 20 adults that stayed at Live Oak Ranch and everyone LOVED the quintessential Texas feel and vibe of the place! It had a very comfortable and homey feeling. Plenty of beds and bathrooms plus room for everyone to hangout. We loved seeing the longhorn cattle and horses and enjoyed the quiet solitude the ranch offered. Everyone wants to come back next year! Maybe itll be warm enough to try out the pool. Thank you to the owners of Live Oak Ranch and Hill Country Premier Lodging for helping us make some incredible memories! -

We stayed in the sunflower ridge cabin in San Marcos. The views are amazing and it’s very quiet and peaceful out there. The hot tub is why we chose this cabin, we did have issues with it turning off every 5 minutes but outside of that we really enjoyed it.I will warn you the bedroom is loft style with a low ceiling so if you are tall this might not be the cabin for you. Overall loved the experience I would absolutely go back. -
Review 17 (2024-01-15 - Rating: 5)
The house we rented (Haydon House) was so cute! It was a perfect place for our girl’s weekend and centrally located to many sites and shops! The hot tub was big, relaxing, clean and perfect for the cold snap that blew through while there. Had a large kitchen table where we played games and comfortable living room for all of us to watch TV and visit. The kitchen was well stocked and actually had more than we needed! The beds were very comfortable and the house was decorated so cute! Was more than happy with our selection of this property. Lastly, they were extremely communicative and quickly responded to all our messages/questions. -
Review 18 (2024-09-03 - Rating: 5)
We dont really want to say how wonderful this place is because we always want it available every chance we can get down there! Is that being selfish? If you’re looking for a nice, clean quiet place to relax and feed the deer, Vagabond is perfect! -
Review 19 (2024-11-08 - Rating: 4)
The place is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed spending time here. The only thing was the bed being a little uncomfortable for us. I would definitely go back. -
Review 20 (2024-12-03 - Rating: 4)
Loved the layout and location of the house. It was great for our family. The proximity to a busy road might discourage some but it wasn’t much of an issue for our crew. I’d say our biggest issue was a lack of cooking appointments and only a couple of trash bags being on hand. I would stay here again. -
Review 21 (2024-10-12 - Rating: 5)
Loved this house. My husband and I had a wonderful time. I am in the habit of wiping down everything in a rental house, so it didnt bother us that everything was crazy dusty and both the game table and the dinner table had crumbs/sticky. The shelves in the bathrooms were very dusty also. It was almost as if it had been months since last being dusted. The bathroom itself was spotless and smelled fresh and clean. So I am sure the dusting was just an oversight. The ceiling in 1 of the bedrooms is falling. O hole. Just the past patch job coming down. We didnt need to use 3 of the bedrooms, so we just closed the doors. No biggie. The kitchen and bedrooms were very clean. The pool table was great. Lots of dog or cat hair on it, but we brushed it clean. I guess it happens when pets are allowed. Not a big deal. We have a pet at home so I get it. The air conditioning was great. The showers had wonderful pressure. I loved the peach shampoo they have. The pool was also great. The hot tub not so much. Only one jet really worked and it is tiny. So a couple would be fine, but more than 2, forget it. We used it for about 20 minutes the whole stay. Not a deal breaker. The property is nice. The driveway is apparently shared with 2 other properties. So the neighbors literally drive right past the pool and the hot tub in the backyard. We were a bit surprised when we were in the pool and the neighbors drove by super slowly, twice. So dont expect privacy when in the pool. Wish they had mentioned this in the description as I am not comfortable in a bikini in front of anyone other my husband. I would have brought my 1 piece. It is minutes to Wimberly square and to HEB for groceries. The drive is great from Houston. We are actually looking to move up there now. The problems werent bad and can be easily resolved. We will be staying at this property again, soon. -

We stayed at Creekside cabins, which were amazing!! Ive read some of the reviews that have been left for this company and am shocked at what Ive read. From the very first moment I contacted this company until tonight, the night before I leave, this has been an amazing experience.I had issues with figuring out how to search for a property, so I called the company and the lady that answered took the time to search thru all of their available places and picked out some of the best places to house our group. She gave me the ups and downs and then helped me book the place we stayed at. So glad I listened to her, this place is so peaceful!!This property was amazing from the start. The house is very inviting, very charming, actually wish it were my retirement place. The decore was beachish, but comfortable, the beds are AMAZING!!! So very comfy, even the day beds!! I cant get enough of the creek running right thru the back of the property. It was so serine, relaxing and just amazing sitting out on the screened in porch listening to the babbling creek. They have provided everything you needed to enjoy your vacation, from an egg turner, to the pots, pans & everything else you can imagine youd need to cook for your group if you decide youd like to cook.I love the way the staff truly wants you to enjoy your time here. Im so tired of the entitled jerks out there that dont understand customer service & just feel entitled. This group truly went above and beyond to help us enjoy this time away. I would recommend them 100%...please take the time to really look into this company, theyre truly amazing!! -
Review 24 (2025-01-06 - Rating: 5)
We enjoyed our stay. Its a cute place for a short get away. Its relaxing but the only thing that we didnt get to enjoy is the hot tub because the temperature would not get higher than 73. Other than that, we enjoyed the house. -
Review 25 (2025-02-03 - Rating: 4)
Quiet and peaceful. Lovely home. Fire pit and bbq were nice features and I used them both. Only downside was the hot tub was not cleaned and able to be used. -
Review 26 (2023-12-19 - Rating: 5)
Awesome stay!! Definitely recommend this Backbone Vista cabin. Convenient location to Wimberley, San Marcos & Canyon Lake. Great customer service from the rental company as well. The views were amazing and worth the secluded country gravel road drive!! -
Review 27 (2024-12-03 - Rating: 5)
Southern Cross is a great place for a quiet Hill country retreat. Located 10 miles from Wimberley and its great shops and dining, the house is located in a gated community of four or five ranch houses that are widely separated and secluded from each other. The ranch house is on a hill with great sunrise and sunset views. It is large. Features a great kitchen with an open dining and living room with sleeping quarters for 7. My family has stayed there for 4 straight years and planning now for a 5th year. -
Review 28 (2025-01-02 - Rating: 4)
We had a pleasant stay! This is a quiet neighborhood, though be aware it is apparent there are no deed restrictions in the area. The home is fresh and inviting, and everything is in working order! We had a nice little winter respite. -
Review 29 (2025-01-02 - Rating: 4)
I would have given 5 stars but the hot tub was NOT CLEAN and UNUSABLE. The television was not used because there was no guest directions nor a guest account available. There was no soap in the bathroom for the sink or shower. It would have been nice to have a guest information book about the house and Wimberley. -
Review 30 (2024-12-03 - Rating: 4)
Absolutely stunning and peaceful home. Was looking forward to using the hot tub, but unfortunately it was not heating correctly. Messaged host and they tried to trouble shoot with me, but I was not at property long enough to work on it. -

Kara’s Cottage is a cute tiny house with a full kitchen, and very nice decor. It’s well maintained and an excellent location to access the 290 Wine Trail. We would definitely stay there again. -

We stayed in one of their ranches in Wimberley, Texas. It was the most perfect place maintained by HCPL. Not only the surroundings were beautiful, every detail was thoughtful. Kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were super clean and bedrooms were just the right sizes. Me and my friends loved the stay. HCPL team were responsive for all the questions we had and they made us feel at home during our stay. -
Review 33 (2017-12-28 - Rating: 5)
I was honestly a little worried about how our experience might be after reading some of the reviews. However, after a stay completely void of hiccups, I feel compelled to write a review. We checked in after 11 PM easy-peasy with the after-hours key pick up, which included detailed directions to the cabin. The cabin was well-maintained, and everything was in working order. It was a perfect mini-vacation for our family of four, including 2 children ages 8 & 5. Despite another cabin on the property, it feels very isolated, which is exactly what we wanted. It is still an easy drive into town. The views of the valley, and the stars at night while enjoying the hot tub cannot be beat. It was everything I hoped it would be based off of the pictures. There was a mouse at one point, but it is in the woods for goodness sakes, so it wasnt a concern for us. If we ever revisit Wimberley, we will definitely use HCPL again. Check out and key drop off was easy-just place your key in a mail slot and be done with it. -
Review 34 (2024-10-11 - Rating: 5)
The property was just what we were looking for. Secluded, quiet and peaceful. It is just far enough off the beaten path but not too far for so many activities. I am a big guy and had no issues with space in the living, kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom was a little tricky to walk around but still very nice. I highly recommend this property when getting away is your main concern. -
Review 35 (2024-11-05 - Rating: 5)
Great location and such a cute place! Small detail but plenty of linens makes the stay so easy! It was perfect for the location of the wedding we attended!! Communication was great! We would definitely stay again! -
Review 36 (2024-11-05 - Rating: 5)
The property and accommodations were just great! It was a beautiful and peaceful stay right on the river. I would stay here again! My only complaint would be the sulfur smell of the well water that came out of the sinks & shower.. -
Review 37 (2025-01-02 - Rating: 5)
Our little house was a perfect getaway to do nothing at all. We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxed by the lake and on the balcony. The house was perfect size for my boyfriend and I. -
Review 38 (2024-10-12 - Rating: 5)
I spent four nights in these wonderfully made, super clean and very comfortable cabins. Close to downtown Wimberly, I was able to walk each evening to have dinner and drinks. The WiFi was superb, and I was able to work remotely without any problems whatsoever. I highly recommend a stay in these cabins. -
Review 39 (2024-08-20 - Rating: 4)
This property is in a beautiful location with great views, oddly the main family room is centered on the unusable fireplace rather than the great view! The mattresses were fine but not crazy about the large wooden frames. The bunk beds (of which there are too many) pose a hazard for little ones since the rails are 3 inch diameter logs. Would recommend these rooms for teenagers. It was nice to have 2 refrigerators. -
Review 40 (2016-11-16 - Rating: 5)
Had a wonderful time staying at the Double D cabin. My family and I were able to spend some quality time and to our surprise there was a music and arts festival in Wimberley the weekend we stayed. The privacy was great, quiet and peaceful the hot tub under the moonlight was the best! The kids loved it plus with internet access and cable they were entertained. -

Very responsive hosts! Very clean and safe place to stay with plenty of parking. Could use clothes hangers, better lighting and more surface space for working, making coffee, etc. -
Review 42 (2024-09-03 - Rating: 4)
The location was great, the bathtub abd appliances were very outdated and felt dirty. The pots and pans were very dirty. We actually bought paper cups and plates. The couch was half broken. River access was amazing but man was it a steep walk up. We had an amazing time however but feel for the price the appliances etc should have been a little better. But still an amazing spot!!!!! So a high score still. -

We had a great time and really enjoyed the log house. We needed to get away and this was perfect for us. The house was spacious, clean, and had the rustic feel of being out in the wild. I highly recommend this house and Hill Country Premier Lodging (HCPL). The staff at HCPL were friendly, courteous, and very professional. -
Review 45 (2024-07-05 - Rating: 5)
My girlfriend, service dog and I have stayed at 2 different locations. Both have been pleasant experiences. Our most recent stay was the morning glory suite at the swing on inn. Was a very cozy spot and while sitting on the back patio one evening, we saw a family of newborn armadillos being taught how to forage by their mother. It was a wonderful moment to experience. The neighboring cows were also very friendly and curious. We had an issue with our water pressure in the shower, and management was able to send someone out within a few hours on a Sunday to fix the problem, which was very appreciated. If you’re looking for a quiet get away, I would highly recommend. -
Review 46 (2024-09-03 - Rating: 5)
We have used Hill Country Premier Lodging for many years and we have always received good service from them. We have stayed in many of the properties that they manage. It doesnt happen often, but occasionally there will be an issue with a property and this company is very quick to resolve the issue. We have had only exceptional service from them and will continue to use HCPL for our future rentals in the hill country area! -
Review 47 (2025-01-02 - Rating: 5)
HCPL is by far my favorite way to find and book trips to the Texas Hill Country. From Wimberley, Canyon Lake, Driftwood, Dripping Springs and surrounding areas, Hill Country Premier has always come thru in finding the best places to stay in central Texas. 10/10 highly recommend HCPL. -

Review 51 (2024-07-03 - Rating: 5)
If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, this place will not disappoint. The views from the back porch cannot be appreciated through pictures alone. Everything is as described in the listing. Fantastic property. Million dollar view. -

Flite Acres is our go-to place to stay when we visit nearby relatives. It is a home away from home in a quiet location about a mile from downtown Wimberley. We love having a kitchen for when we dont go enjoy time in the Square. -

Review 56 (2018-04-18 - Rating: 5)
We stayed at Arrowhead Falls this past weekend for my brothers bachelor party and had a great time. We would be arriving late and received a courtesy call and email with instructions for picking up our key after hours which was very simple and about 5 mins from Arrowhead Falls. Upon arrival, the hot tub was preheated and ready to go! We were able to watch some playoff basketball, grill and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was much too cool out to get in the pool, but for future visitors, the pool area was clean and well kept. No complaints here! Cant wait to go back! -
Review 57 (2024-08-19 - Rating: 4)
The cabins are practically furnished and serve their purpose. The refrigerator could be a little bigger. The support by Hill Country is good and someone can be reached at any time by phone or e-mail. We were on site for a week. In September 2023 and June 2024. We will be happy to come back.Greetings from Germany -

Review 59 (2017-05-01 - Rating: 4)
We stayed in the Sunset Villa for a three day getaway. Overall, we had a great time. The Villa is actually a very nice garage apartment in a higher-end hillside neighborhood. Being up on the hill afforded a great view of the Blanco River valley below and kept the noise to a minimum - it was peaceful. The Sunset view was was really spectacular. Had the weather been clearer, Im sure it would have been stunning. The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable. If I had a complaint it would be that the bathroom was a bit snug. The rest of the villa was quite roomy. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette would meet the needs of anyone who would want to cook on their vacation. The Wimberley Town Square was a short drive as was the local HEB grocery. While I would stay at Sunset Villa again, I would be more inclined to try another Hill Country property for variety. -

Great house! Lots of space and clean. Close to Wimberley by car,We enjoyed the hot tub very much. -
Review 61 (2024-07-03 - Rating: 4)
The grill outside was a joke. Very old and rusted. And the Jacuzzi wasnt warm enough and it was not very bubbly. And the hammock was not real comfy. Other than that, the cabin itself was nice. With the heat we are experiencing, staying inside worked out fine. There was some confusion with the directions to the cabin but HCPL took great care of us! The code on the rear door was a bit confusing but once again, HCPL helped us out with compassion and respect. Id rent the cabin again IF the exterior amenities were improved. 👍🏻 -

We came here for our 5 yr anniversary and stayed at The Falls! What a great view to wake up to in the morning with coffee. It has two bedrooms, and can sleep comfortably a family. Very close to downtown and the Blue Hole Park. Only 20 mins from the Duchman Family Winery and just a couple miles away from Hay City Store so this place is in a great location. The property itself is gorgeous, comfortable, and has everything you need. Weve stayed at many of the properties owned or managed by HCP and weve never been let down. Always exceeded expectations! -
Review 63 (2019-06-11 - Rating: 4)
We have a fairly large family reunion group every year and this year we booked the Deep River House - two nights in early June. It was absolutely wonderful. It was well stocked - from laundry soap to a HUGE basket of beach towels. The pool table was a HUGE hit (except no chalk). The back yard is huge and slopes down to the fantastic Blanco River, which ranged from 1 ft - 5 ft deep above the low water crossing. Absolutely perfect for the adults and kiddos. This house is huge and spread out (5000 sq ft, 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms), so there was loads of room for everyone. The deck sitting was so nice (three outdoor fans made the summer heat pleasant). The balcony had plenty of chairs, but the porch down below had next to nothing, which was disappointing. And the back porch light (porch leads down to the private suite) had a poor excuse for a light. It barely lit up anything and we had to use our phones to light up the path down. Thats a bit dangerous. The grill is also useless (tiny) - if there was a bigger grill we would have used it. The parking was a big sparse for our group but we made it work. The biggest downer was that the pet fees were pretty expensive ($25 per pet, per night). I would feel more comfortable paying a pet deposit, not a fee, since our group are responsible pet owners - no damage, we picked up poop, etc. This kept it from being a 5 star review.I realize I sound nit-picky but I hope my review helps those looking to book this house in the future. None-the-less, weve already booked for our group next summer (and we only just got home 2 days ago)! This time for 3 nights so we DID love it! -

Had a great weekend trip to our favorite town of Wimberly. The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The group of cabins are spaced far enough for privacy and to feel like you have your own corner of the country. We enjoyed the cooler evening sitting on the porch among some twinkling fireflies. Close to grocery and shopping, we were able to sight-see within a few minutes. Must visit: Wimberly Glassworks. We have visited for the live demo before and it doesnt disappoint. All in all, a good experience. -

I recently stayed at Double D Cottage, a property managed by Hill Country Premier Lodging. It was a great experience. The cottage itself was clean and well maintained, showcasing a good blend of rustic charm and amenities. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals with ease. The hot tub was nice, warm and inviting. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking views of the surrounding hillside. Whether we were enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch or stargazing in the evening, we enjoyed the serenity and natural beauty. There is a covered porch with comfortable seating and an outdoor grill.Hill Country Premier Lodgings customer service is excellent. They were responsive to our needs and provided recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. We highly recommend and will return. -

We stayed at Arbor Creek. It was as described. No surprises except there was wood supplied for fireplace and the fire-pit. Most places expect you to buy your own wood! Very nice and secluded, but not too far to town for groceries, etc. Highly recommend. The staff at HCPL were very helpful in finding the place to fit our needs. Thanks!! -
Review 74 (2024-07-04 - Rating: 5)
The condo was very well furnished. It had more stuff needed in he kitchen than needed. It is a beautiful place. The only down side, and it doesnt depend on the property owners, is that there was absolutely nobody else in the other condos. It was like a ghost town. Also, the gate to the community was not working, and I never saw anyone working there. It was a good thing we were many; otherwise, it would have been really spooky. -

Loved our weekend at Southern Cross, location provided a true out-of-town get away for the 5 of us women - a sister-in-law trip - but close enough to enjoy shopping and eating in Wimberley. We used the hot tub, indoor fireplace, and fully-stocked kitchen. Would love to go back! -

The house is really cute and comfortable the only thing that was disappointing was the water level was extremely low and very hot! We had booked the stay so that we could spend time in the water and instead we had to go search for water elsewhere and pay to swim. That was the only drawback. -

My fiancé and I stayed at Artista and couldn’t have been more happy! On arrival, the home was extremely clean and well managed. We loved how open the home felt! The back yard was our favorite. The hot tub was very clean and comfy! While we were there during the drought and the creek was dried up, we can’t wait to go back when it is full and enjoy swimming! It’s only a few minutes from Blue Hole and downtown Wimberley. It’s also very convenient to get to San Marcos, New Braunfels or Austin! I would definitely recommend this property! -

I almost hate to make this review as I want to keep our cabin a secret from the masses! I will say that Premier Lodging gave us excellent service on the front and back end of our stay. We highly recommend their company and would seek out lodging under their management for our next trip. -

The cabin was nice and comfy. We had three deer come in the yard, which is always fun to see. Had a great laugh when the hammock sent me on a 360 flip. Since it was our anniversary we can truly say that we are still head over heels in love. -

As I am reading some of the negative reviews about HCPL, I cant help but wonder why people think that some of the issues encountered with homes or cabins in disrepair are the sole responsibility of the management company. The management company is responsible for minor repairs and cleaning. If the actual homeowner is unwilling to allow them to source someone for something considered a major repair, it is out of their hands. I personally had a great experience with HCPL.In addition, as a homeowner myself, I know that when there is an A/C or plumbing problem even I have to wait a day or two sometimes for a technician to come provide service. How can anyone expect something different just because they are renting a vacation home. They are at the mercy of available technicians. Is it an inconvenience? YES but lets be realistic. Also, someone gave a bad review because the car broke down and they couldnt make it and didnt get a refund. Well, thats why people should spend the extra money for cancelation insurance for petes sake. Thats what it is for and I always make sure to purchase it. I would rather lose the cost of the insurance than hundreds ot thousands of dollars. As far as bugs, mold, etcThis shouldnt be a shocker for homes that are in the hill country and are older, or rented to different people every week. I can understand complaints about poor general cleanliness, but come on people, if you want a luxury hotel, then go rent one for 10xs the price. We were in contact with HCPL weeks before our stay at Kings Landing and they ALWAYS responded. They made sure the house was immaculate before we arrived. Mind you, I was worried after some of the reviews on VRBO and because the house is older and has issues, but I was VERY pleased with the cleanliness and amount of towels, toiletries, etc. I was pleasantly pleased with the house. Yes, there are minor repairs needed, but nothing that was a deal breaker.I did notify them that the trash cans outside were already full and they came the next day to empty them. They even notified me beforehand that the pool was in disrepair, but being that the weather was going to be cool during the day and cold at night, we didnt care. The house was large, beautiful and comfortable in spite of the repairs needed. The views were also amazing!Lastly, as someone who rents frequently from VRBO I have learned to always travel with sheets, light blankets and towels, just in case; although we did not need them at Kings Landing as it was well stocked.Thank you HCPL for a great experience during my daughters wedding weekend! -

While here experienced car issue hill country team member Laura went above and beyond to make sure me and my family had everything we needed while we waited for car repairs . We stayed here for 4 days. The sunflower ridge cottage was very nice. It had everything you would need to have a great trip. The kitchen was fully stocked which was nice. The place was very clean. It came with a washer and dryer which was nice. Less clothes to bring. The only thing that would have made the trip better is if it had a pool. We will ve back again. Loved this place. Thank you -

We stayed at The Summit and absolutely loved it !! The outside deck area was incredible. Not to mention the private hot tub in the back. We took our Golden Retriever and he just loved to explore the yard and chill out on the deck. We used the Chimenea at night while we sipped our wine under the stars. The bed was super comfy as was the huge couch in the living room. The roof top deck was very cool too as we were there during the Super Moon. This house had lots of extra creature comforts as well. We will definitely stay here again. -

We loved the little cabin on Lonesome . Steel Magnolia. Very cute decor and a great piece of property with the woodsy trees. All was great except the bed mattress was too soft... we sunk in the middle & the hot water didnt last through a complete shower. Other than that it was fabulous. I hope the mattress will be replaced and water heater. Id love to stay there again. ❤️ -

Our family had a fabulous stay at Let the Good Times Roll ! The house and property are beautiful! The house provided lots of great gathering places, including a large open kitchen (which had everything you need for preparing meals), a spacious living room, and the front porch and back patio were perfect for relaxing or fun and games! The pool was beautiful - just perfect for our little ones, adults and grandparents as well. The waterfalls and slide was a big hit with all. The 5 spacious bedrooms provided privacy for those who needed a break from the fun. The landscaping and shade trees made activities outdoors very pleasant, even in July!. The owner was so gracious, helpful and friendly. Weve been doing family gathering for 7 years and this property was by far our favorite!! We will definitely book again!!! -

We stayed at the Affinity Retreat Cabin for the second time and let me tell you we are already planning our third trip to this cabin. Its so perfect, we enjoyed the hot tub and bbq pit the most. We went on a little hike to watch the sunset. this location is so peaceful, and beautiful. the check in/out is so easy that just makes the stay even better. on our first stay we had left a note that the coffee maker was not working. when we got their we went to check if our review in the cabin book was still there and it was with a note saying the coffee maker was replace and it sure was. :) We did make a suggestion of a hammock between the trees in the back yard would be an amazing addition to this location. -

I was so lucky to be able to rent a last minute property for valentines weekend! I had rented a nice little cabin and to my surprise it had already been booked by someone else. However, Sheryl and Susan were so great and put me in a room on the big house in which I had access to my own grill, fire pit, and a huge beautiful backyard to watch the stars at night! I have to say that they went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant one and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything was very clean and the place was quiet and private. -

We chose the Snuggle Inn for a quiet birthday getaway. This cute cabin was even better than the pictures!! It was extremely clean and adorably decorated with a rustic feel that was perfect for us. With an awesome hot tub right off the deck and only about a 7 minute drive to downtown, we couldnt have asked for more! The property was so peaceful and quiet. The owner came over to say hi when we pulled in and then let us be for the most peaceful, private vacation weve ever experienced. It was perfect. -

This company worked so amazingly with me and my girlfriend. We both travel for different jobs and scheduled a nice getaway weekend. Then life happened... Multiple times... Resulting in changing weekends and finally cancelling. This staff was so understanding! They worked with us, responded quickly, were very courteous, and so kind! If this is how they treat folks who are not even staying with them, cannot wait to see how they handle us while there! We will definitely be looking to reschedule! -

We stayed at 2 Creek this time. This rental company is by far the most accommodating, friendliest and has the largest selection of properties. This was a girls trip and the house was fantastic! Although we had a house next to us, we would have never known it. Beautiful views of the creek, wildlife and silence. The only time we were awakened was to coyotes singing to each other - really cool. The house was nicely laid out, plenty of room for up to 8. Nice big kitchen, great bathrooms (3), nice size gas grill, big TV in the living and great hot tub.We would rent here again, no problem. -

We rented Sunset Villa and absolutely loved this little dream of a house. However, we did have a couple of problems. The inside of the barbeque grill was so rusted we were afraid to use it. And the gas fireplace in the bedroom would not come on. We called Hill Country Premier Lodging early Saturday morning and were told that a maintenance person would be by to check on it but no one ever showed up. Since the grill and fireplace were two of the amenities we were looking forward to using, this was a disappointment. On the positive side, the deck and the view are glorious! Light switches in the house were clearly labeled, which is always a plus when staying at a new property. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped.Future guests should know that there is no dishwasher. Also the driveway is very steep and many steps must be climbed in order to access the house so mobility could be a problem. Once up there, though, the climb is worth it. -

My fiance and I LOVED staying here this past weekend. It was perfect for what we needed and actually surprised us in how clean and well kept it was. The proximity to the square and Cypress Creek was perfect. The unit we stayed in , Unit 4, was pretty small (just a heads up). It worked just fine for us, but if you have kids, I suggest choosing a different unit. Overall, perfect setting/location, cleanliness, home-y decor, and easy check-in and check-out process even after hours. Well definitely be returning. -

I rented both Mountain Laurel and Desert Willow for the October Market Day weekend. Mountain Laurel has two bedrooms and my daughter and her family of 4 stayed there. My husband and I stayed next door at Desert Willow which is a one bedroom. The cabins are perfect, well decorated, stocked with everything needed and very comfortable. The beds were also extremely comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances needed for a long stay.It was very convenient to town, actually within walking or bike riding distance for those who like to exercise. Each cabin had its own private patio and we sat outside both nights we were there until late in the evening. The cabins are newly built and everything is very clean and neat inside and out.I would highly recommend these cabins for a romantic weekend or a family vacation. There are actually 3 cabins in this location, 2 with one bedroom and 1 with two bedrooms. They have pull out couches in the living rooms. We will definitely return as often as possible. -

We stayed three nights at Arroyo. We loved the house! The layout is perfect, with one room on each end of the house. There was plenty of separation, for privacy, with the ability to meet in the middle or on the back deck that ran the length of the house. It was very quiet. We didnt see any wildlife until the last night, so that was a bummer, but out of anyones control. As much as I enjoyed being there, I do have a couple of suggestions. First being to put blinds on ALL of the windows, not just in the bedrooms. Once the sun goes down, you feel like a sitting duck on display. Second, maybe run the dishes through the dishwasher as a part of preparing the house. Almost every piece of silverware we pulled out of the drawer was dirty, with food particles on a couple. We ended up just washing everything before we used it. Other than those two things specifically, I wouldnt change anything about our stay at Arroyo. We enjoyed it. Thank you for making the rental process so easy! -

We have been coming to Wimberly for at least the past 10 years with family and as of late just the two of us for a romantic getaway. We have stayed at many beautiful properties with views and amazing amenities. We have never been blown away before like we were this time around by the immaculate condition and environment of Big Texan Sky! It is literally the most romantic and believe it or not the cleanest, well-kept home we’ve rented to date. I even walked around in my bare feet which I NEVER do in rental homes. But enough about the cleanliness let’s talk about the gorgeous views, the hot tub, the fire pit where we roasted marshmallows, the deer on the property each morning, the long walks through the neighboring areas in which we encountered: Lamas, cows, chickens, roosters etc… It was beyond quaint & romantic. The perfect getaway. We had an absolutely amazing time and definitely want to return. Thank you for making such a beautiful home available for your guests. We have already shared our experience with friends and family and they are already ready to book -

We stayed at AAA Wimberley Valley Ranch. This property is by far the most accommodating, private and totally worth it!This was a family trip for my daughters 21st Birthday and the house was fantastic! Although we had the owners house next to us, we would have never known it. Beautiful views of the peaceful 40 acres, wildlife and silence. There is a fishing pond on site, our grandchildren had a blast in the pool and feeding the animals. There are 2 bedrooms separated from the house lodge, when elders were ready for bed, younger kids slept in the separate lodge - really cool. The house was nicely laid out, plenty of room for up to 8. Nice big kitchen, bar with (8) bar stools, (2)separate bedrooms each with king size bed and a futon with private bathroom, nice size gas grill, big TV in the living and in each bedroom, great hot tub by the pool. Everything worked and no complaints, slept like a baby!We cant wait to come back and stay longer.Absolutely enjoyed our stay!!Thanks John! -

My sons 7 and 17 stayed at El Ranchito in Dripping Springs over the weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves. The property was secluded and the house was a spacious 2/2 bedroom. The price was reasonable yet the home was fully stocked with all amenities. I also was impressed with the homes eclectic decor. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Surprisingly, everything was in great working order and easy to use. We look forward to returning soon. -

The house was beautiful and very clean. The view, hot tub, and fire pit made the trip wonderful. The kitchen was completely stocked. The house has a great open floor plan. We had a great time. Each bathroom was stocked with shampoo, soap, etc.The yard was amazing and the property well maintained. All of the places we ate at in town were wonderful.Suggestions: We never did find an ironing board or iron ( we had been traveling for a week and were attending a wedding) this became a big problem. The smoke detector batteries began beeping at 2 am. Could not reach without a step ladder. Suggest the rental agency or owners change certain time every year. -

We had a great time at the Deer Run at Cypress Creek. While the property is a little run down the location on the creek was amazing. The description of the property does not mention that there is a small one bedroom cottage on the lot as well. The people who were renting that out were not very friendly and that kind of kept us away from the creek on the first day. Luckily they left and the rest of the time spent there was great. The caretakers were super friendly and gave us a great history of the property. The one bedroom cottage is adorable. I would consider just renting that next time -

Grand River retreat was a great house for the number of people on our trip. Plenty of room for everyone! The porch had an amazing view of deer in the morning with our coffee and in the evening as well! The blanco river is a little walk down but if you didn’t want to walk, there was easy access by vehicle on the path down. The river area water temp was perfect. My 6 year old was able to walk and play just fine =) slime bridge is also a great treat =) the house did not have a iron and ironing board and some outlets did not work. Overall, the days were hot, the nights were cool, and we had great quality time. Guadalupe trail was nice and shaded and canyon lake was just across the stree from there if you’re looking for something to do. Great escape! -

We stayed at The Boat House in Wimberley and were delighted! It was a perfect blend of outdoors to suit my husband and beautiful design to suit me. The sheets and towels were both soft and plush, which is important to us. The property was clean and the community was quaint and quiet. A few things to consider, the sheer curtains and open windows made me a little uncomfortable due to the close proximity of other cottages. I would have greatly preferred to have the option of privacy. I would have also liked to have had something at the cottage that told me a little more about the town in general and the property specifically. -

My Fiancée and I stayed at the Gonzales Cabin and the stay was excellent!!! The entire setup was awesome!!! The bathroom was very clean. The living area and kitchenette was also very clean. The back patio where the jacuzzi and gas grille were at was spacious as well. The only thing the back patio needed was a small table. The weather was so nice we cooked breakfast on the gas grille and ate outside. Having a small table would have made it perfect. The staff was awesome in helping us locate exactly what we were needing!!! We are definitely staying there again in the near future!!! -

My wife and I stayed at the Canyon Vista. It was a great little get away. The staff was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. The cabin was cozy and came with a hot tub and hammock which was nice. We enjoyed the location and it was all at an affordable price. Only taking off one star because of an ant problem in the bathroom and shower. The staff was very apologetic about this and said they would send an exterminator out as soon as they could. I would recommend this company. -

We stayed at the affinity retreat cabin in WImberly. We choose this place because of the amenities. It had a great porch and fire pit. It was perfect weather to use the fire pit. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessities. The decor was really nice too. The ONLY reason we cannot give this particular cabin a 5 star is because there was a lack of hot water. Literally only had hot water for a shower for 2 min and I was the only one who took a shower that night. The next morning I was the first in the shower and again NO HOT water, Well only 2 min again. -

We had the perfect vacation, and I will cherish the memories forever. My husband and I stayed for several nights at the Big Texan Sky cabin. The house itself was perfect--elegantly appointed and spotlessly clean--and we had no trouble feeling comfortable and at home. The views are breathtaking; we spent a lot of time in silence, just staring at the hillside. We also walked the trail several times and watched the sunset from the hot tub as often as we could. The location is remote but not too far from grocery stores and restaurants (about a 15-20 min scenic drive.) Everyone we met in Wimberley was friendly. We wanted somewhere private and secluded to disconnect and relax, and thats exactly what we got in Big Texan Sky. Our stay was so wonderful that we extended it, and we hope to be able to visit again soon. -

The Rustic Hideaway is just that. It’s a no frills, spacious but cozy private retreat sei amongst trees with a perfect view of the deer feeder several hundred yards away. Given the size of the living room the TV could be larger, there was not enough firewood laid in for our three night stay and the oven did not seem to work, and we had to cook our chicken wings on the stove top. Not recommended. The check-in and check- out could not have been easier and with a couple improvements the rating would be five stars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. -

My wife and I spent a weekend at the Cozy Cabin for our one year anniversary. It was a very pleasant experience. The cabin was clean and organized. Hot tub was also clean (and worked ha). The queen bed was really comfortable. Spent both nights out by a fire and relaxed in the hammock during the day. The cabin was only about a 5 minute drive from shopping and eating in downtown Wimberley. The cabin is fairly close to a highway that is somewhat noisy if youre outside but we couldnt hear it inside. Overall, my wife and I would both recommend a weekend stay here. We both agreed how relaxed and refreshed we felt after the weekend. Just what we needed! -

Our family spent Thanksgiving at Arbor Creek. We have stayed there before and it was a good choice for us because we could walk back and forth to our house on Flite Acres that is being remodeled due to the flooding in May 2015. The location was perfect. The setting was perfect as well. Lots of beautiful grounds and a pool to swim in (we didnt use due to time of year) and a hot tub (we used a lot) was a 10 for us. The inside of the house mostly met our needs as well but we did have some small irritations with the very slippery bathtub and the horrible coffee pot. A mat for the tub and a new coffee pot would go a long way to match the other amenities. There is also no dishwasher which for a place so nice was surprising. Since it was Thanksgiving we had a lot of washing of dishes but we just took turns washing and drying and putting away after each meal. The cleanliness was a 3 I would say. There were many areas that needed attention with cobwebs and dust. All in all the place worked well for us and I would rent it again if we needed overflow for our family during the holidays. -

High school girlfriends reunion at Hillsedge-the Hideaway was wonderful. The home was beautifully accented, wonderful beds, spacious for 4 old ladies. Really enjoyed the front porch in the morning and late afternoons. The hot tub was a plus although there were no instructions as to how to operate it and the top was a little hard to remove. (minor). We will be back and will surely rent this place again. -

We rented Grand River Retreat and its adjoining guest house for Labor Day 2015 and it was amazing! We had 3 full families and the layout was perfect! One adult bedroom upstairs with kids sleeping on the pull out couch in the living room and a few cots we brought for other kids... One adult bedroom downstairs and the bunk room was perfect for our teens/tweens to have some privacy to be big kids. The guest house was perfect for the 3rd family who had a 2 yr old with them to keep away from the other kids during her nap and earlier bed time. The whole layout of the house was great! The attached deck was awesome for the kids to view the deer and foxes and it was perfect for the adults to sit and chat til the wee hours of the morning once the kids went to bed! The kitchen provided all we needed to cook and grill some great meals too. The river was clear as can be and the rapids were so fun for the kids! The town of Wimberley was so fun for the women to go in for lunch and shopping! Small bars of soap for the showers could be replaced with small body wash bottles or at least a bigger bar of soap, but thats the only suggestion I can think of. It was wonderful! We happened upon the owners during the weekend and they are the nicest family too! -

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend - so peaceful and quiet. Yet close enough to do everything we wanted without having to drive forever. -

My extended family (7 brothers and sisters and their families!) enjoyed the Edgewater Retreat this past weekend. Lovely outdoor patios, great swimming right off the deck stairs, far enough up-river that we had some people watching but did not have the bother of bank to bank tubers that further down river would have experienced. The Retreat sleeps 25 but the pots, pans and oven were clearly intended for a more intimate group! We managed to feed everyone but glad we brought crock pots, roaster pans, etc. -

We loved it!! We stayed at The Cabin at Rooster Ridge, for 3 days. We had a great experience there. The pool was super clean and so was the hot tub. Loved the fire pit at night. Hill Country premiere lodging was great! They were very friendly and professional. I will definitely go back to them for our vacation needs. -

We stayed at the Canyon Vista cabin and had a really good time. The cabin was clean and pretty well stocked with the essentials. The only flaws was that the blender was broke (luckily we brought our own) and it had a small water heater. Overall a great experience and I will not hesitate to use Hill Country Premier Lodging again. -

Cabin at Rooster Ridge. Property was immaculately clean when we arrived. 3 couples had tons of room. Pool, hot tub, fire pit, grill and everything else one could desire from the Hill Country. 20 min drive to Wimberley left us feeling connected yet remote when we wanted to be. Amazing beds and towels. One of our best rental experiences and we will definitely return. Thank you!! -

My husband and I stayed at their Canyon Vista cabin last week for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! The view right out of the front door is amazing, the cabin itself is adorable, and the amenities are great! Definitely recommend staying here and we plan on going back soon! -

Our stay at the Triple D Ranch B&B was amazing. Price was an incredible value given the private pool. The accommodations were spacious - King size bed with large master size bath room. Enjoyed cooking on the grill poolside. We were fortunate to find this place at the last minute for short get--a-way. -

The cabin was so relaxing. Great opportunity to spend time with My Husband and pets. Pictures on the website were just as it looks Eagle Ridge Cabin (a country cabin). Enjoyed the view of the beautiful moon while in hot tub. The dogs loved the large yard. Will stay here again! . So close to town and other attractions like blue hole, wimberley glass works and bonsai garden. The owner was very helpful and friendly! Very quiet and restful neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay. We started our morning coffees seating on the porch watching the sunrise. There was also a little fox, lightning bugs, deers, hummingbirds and other interesting birds I cannot name. I Love taking pictures at sunset and the moon.Love it!!!Hill Country Premier Rentals was fantastic to work with, Cheryl was really informative and help us found the best place for our needs in a short time to book. I will recommended to all my Friend and Family.Thank you -

We stayed at The Summit which felt wonderfully private but also very close to all of the fun in downtown Wimberly. I cant say enough good about the property, the view from the rooftop deck, the little, private hiking trail up to another deck, or the joy of having morning coffee on the back porch while deer walked by.Such a beautiful property, the photos really dont do it justice.Hill Country Premier Lodging did a great job making everything easy for us, and helped us to find a property that was exactly what we needed, even though we only booked about 2 days before arrival. Amber was great and found us the prefect spot.Thank you! -

Great experience. We received a call from Hill country lodging we coming us and giving us tips on getting to the house. We arrived to a welcome sign and bottle of wine to enjoy. The house was perfect. Very clean, plenty of towels and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Will definitely use Hill country Prier lodging for our next trip to Texas. -

We stayed for the New Year weekend at the Gonzales Cabin. It was lovely, clearly newly built and very cozy. We were married the week before so this was sort of our honeymoon. Honestly we just wanted to get away and hide out together which this cabin was perfect for! The bed needs some work, kinda sags in the middle, and the hot tub wasnt working properly but one phone call and they sent someone out on new years eve and fixed it right away. 5 stars, well definitely be going back. -

We rented a small one bedroom cabin on the Blanco river at the last minute. The price was very reasonable and we had a great time. The cabin was secluded and we swam in the middle of the river with not another sole in site. Short drive into Wimberley, TX from the cabin and a lot of great places to eat and incredible natural resources to enjoy. Well be back.Update! As promised, we returned. We stayed in a similar cabin but further down the road and right on the river. We were treated to a snow storm as we drove into town and it snowed right up until we turned in for the night. Nothing like kicking back in a hot tub on a deck facing the river and up in the snow covered tree tops with snow continuing to fall. The next morning we walked down and along the river and enjoyed the beautiful snow covered landscapes. Just another great relaxing trip with no problems. Highly recommended. Check into the Gonzales Cabin. -
