It is a beautiful place, and this was our second time staying here. Lots of beds, soft sheets, beautifully appointed space! The driveway is steep and there are stairs to go up and down as you load/unload the car, which is challenging but do-able.The 4 star review comes because the owner will not let you adjust the thermostat. It was very warm in some of the bedrooms, especially the top floor king bedroom, but we couldnt adjust the temperature to make it a comfortable place to sleep. Having a locked thermostat makes sense -- but when we called to ask that it be set lower and were told no -- 😔.
