We chose Heaven on Bay for our family vacation this year and spent four very relaxing days there with our adult children and grandchildren. We especially enjoyed preparing meals in the well appointed kitchen and sharing them around the large dining table. Views from the deck were spectacular and the beautiful sunsets did not disappoint. In addition, the pools and amenities at Pointe West Beach Club were easy to access. Mai and Tom were gracious hosts and making arrangements with them was easy.

We just spent a week with our families at the Heaven on the Bay in Pointe West area of Galveston. We were very well accommodated with space, comfortable beds, bathrooms, dining space, kitchen gadgets. We had positive and good spirited hosts Tom and Mai that were available to contact even late at night with any questions or concerns.I’ve been coming to Galveston with my husband and 3 boys for the past 8 years. This is one of the first times I had felt well taken care of.The community of Pointe West Galveston faced a great challenge with Hurricane Beryl. They overcame a lot. They built back up what was lost or damaged. Thank you Tom and Mai for all their hard work in making sure their guests had all they need during their vacations.

Mai and Tom were so responsive to our needs from the initial booking to making sure our golf carts were picked up at the end of the weekend. The home was so well appointed with everything we needed to prepare the meals. The house was super clean and well stocked with linens, towels, blankets etc to make our visit very comfortable. Loved the huge dining table so we could all sit down together to have meals in one place. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck to watch the spectatular sunset! We have an annual trip and will definitely have a repeat visit to this gem at Pointe West!

We have stayed at Heaven on Bay for several years now for a family vacation and absolutely LOVE it!! The house is very well maintained, very comfortable for our group of 14 adults and children and has THE perfect location on the bay side with easy access to the beach side. This is our third trip to Galveston staying in one of the Galveston Luxury Vacation Rentals. This time it was Heaven on Bay!! The name certainly fits the rental. It was heaven for sure!! We loved the quietness of the bay and the beautiful sunsets. Everything about the rental was perfect for our family. The grandkids loved all the game room choices and the bunkbeds. The adults loved all the private rooms and bathrooms. All in all, we could not have been more pleased!! Mai Dang is the best hostess. She is very attentive to your happiness and comfort. We have made her rentals our go to place for the holidays each year. We will definitely be back again next year!!!

We stayed at Heaven on the bay in Pointe West resort this past weekend. The views are gorgeous, the house is perfect, immaculate, and spacious! My husband enjoyed walking out the door to go wade fish in the mornings and soaking in the hot tub in evenings. We celebrated our daughters sweet 16 there that weekend and she loved it too! They enjoyed the game room upstairs and loved the bunk room! We can not wait to go back! Mai (the most sweetest owner) was in contact with us at all times if we needed any assistance! 5 stars on all levels!!

We had a great experience renting with Galveston Luxury Vacation Rentals. Mai was so responsive and informative throughout the entire process. She was very friendly and helpful. The property itself was amazing. It was very spacious for our family and extended family. It had beautiful views and great decks to enjoy it from. We also loved riding our golf carts to the club and swimming in the pool that also has a fantastic view. Will definitely be renting again with Mai.

We just returned from a long weekend with our children and grands. Previous reviews are all spot-on. Upon arrival, we walked into music playing, compliments of Alexa! This house on the bay is top notch, very clean, with great views of both sunrises and sunsets, and the bay is easily accessible and great for fishing, crabbing, and shallow for children to swim. Though we did little cooking, the kitchen has everything youd want. The beds are very comfortable, linens and towels very good quality, and the decks very comfortable and perfect for enjoying the serenity of the far end of the island. This house was also very welcoming for small children with high chair, toys, floats, and decks fully secure for little ones. We took advantage of The Beach Club, which is also very nice, and restaurant not bad...not many choices for eating out in the area. Lastly, Mai and Tom are the nicest couple, very personable and attentive to details, both prior to and during our stay. Wonderful experience! Look forward to next time!

Heaven on Bay was the perfect vacation rental for our spring break trip with two other families. The home was beautiful, clean, spacious, well equipped and we loved its location on the bay offering amazing sunsets and plenty of space for kids to run around outside. We enjoyed crabbing in the bay, s’mores by the fire pit, the hot tub, access to the Pointe West pools (does cost extra) and the kids loved the game room. Mai and Tom were always prompt in responding and very friendly. We will definitely consider this home for our future trips to Galveston!

Had a long weekend - family reunion here with our three kids (and spouses) and four granddaughters. Tom and Mais house is beautiful! Nicely furnished with plenty of space. We love to cook and brought many utensils/gadgets, not knowing what would be there. Ended up not needing to use what we brought because the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the decks (facing west-northwest), watching beautiful sunsets. Only three houses on the street so it felt very secluded. We went to the private beach club each morning and private pool in the afternoon. The granddaughters loved the lazy river at the pool. We forgot to bring our fishing gear but many wade-fishermen that we saw were bringing-in limits of nice sized redfish. Well definitely partake ourselves when we come back. Mai went out of her way to check-in (via text) to make sure all was well and make recommendations. Overall, the house and experience far exceeded our expectations.

We decided to have a last minute weekend getaway for the kids before they would have to go back to school but didn’t want to travel far due to our large family. We were trying and couldn’t find a single place that would be able to accommodate all of us…. After scouring through many sites, I finally found this beautiful listing that said it was able to sleep 16! The pictures online of the home’s interior & exterior was amazing. I was able to get in contact with the owners and they were so helpful with information regarding the home and surrounding areas, since we were not familiar with the area. They were so accommodating in every way, assisting us through the very last minute booking, checking up on us through the weekend to make sure we were okay and if we had trouble finding anything around the large house!The pictures online of the house was amazing….but the seeing the actual house was even more stunning….!! The house sits on a code sac with a private beach access! It included crab traps!!! The kids had a blast catching the crabs, kayaking, the pool at the beach club down the street, the game room for the kids…so many more for the kiddos to do.Best of all…the view of the sunrise and sunset was absolutely gorgeous…especially from the 2nd, & 3rd floor patio.We’ve stayed at a lot vacation homes…but this is by far one of the best!!! We will definitely be coming back soon!!

I just cant say enough about this place! It was absolutely beautiful, extremely comfortable and had everything you would ever need! The sunsets on the deck were just stunning! The pictures dont do it justice!Mai was fantastic - so responsive anytime we needed her and sweet as can be! We always stay at beautiful places, but this one topped them all! Cant wait to return!

Amazing house with breath-taking views of the bay and resort-like amenities.This house was the perfect setting for both my family vacation and to treat my work associates to some R&R as well.The homeowners, Tom and Mai, are courteous, easy to communicate with and made sure that we were all set to enjoy their property.Definitely recommend this rental :)

We just returned from a 3-family week’s stay at this beautiful new construction home! We immediately felt spoiled with all the high-end amenities it has to offer. The sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly for our group of 6 adults and 9 kids, with enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The adults each had a king bed and bathroom on the 1st floor while the kids had full reign of the 2nd floor including their own family room and game room. The game room off the bunk room provided hours of secluded entertainment. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance you need and enough dishes, silverware and bakeware to make you feel right at home. There was plenty of room for us all to eat together.Fishing in the bay did not disappoint as something was caught every time the guys ventured out. The kids had ample room to roam about in the yard, driveway and open space below. While we didn’t use the fireplace or fire pit, they are the perfect set up for outdoor relaxation. The 2 decks are set up perfectly for lounging and eating meals outside.We did use the resort’s amenities a few times for beach and pool access and feel the $10 wristband charge was a fair charge. We did most of our dining at the house, so we cannot weigh in on the restaurant at the resort. We did drive there most of the time as it is a little nerve wracking crossing the busy highway by foot or via scooter.The location of the house is a bit of a drive from Galveston, so be sure to get your bait and food supplies as you make your way to the house because once you’re there, you don’t want to leave!The owners were wonderful to work with and very accommodating with our needs!

We rented for our divisional meeting. What a great house, great location, couldnt have asked for more. The house is beautiful, large, with great views. Everything you could ask for, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, great kitchen with a Weber grill on the lower level. Our team had a great time, best meeting location yet. Great house in a great location. Lots of square footage and beds for the extended family. PointeWest development is a fun place to enjoy beach time and go to pools or hot tubs when you are done with the salt water :-)
