The Fleur de Lis was such a beautiful place to stay! Sondra was such an amazing host; she went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible! I highly recommend you stay here; between the history of the home and the antique feel, you will feel like you have stepped into luxury! Even though it was a rainy weekend when we arrived, we were greeted with such hospitality; walking through the home, Sondra ensured we had everything we needed to ensure our stay was one to remember. From restaurant recommendations and places to visit to a handwritten welcome sign! We will make another trip to Galveston to stay here again. Book this beautiful home; you will not be disappointed!

Fluer de Lis Galveston Cottage is without a doubt one of the most beautiful homes weve ever stayed in. The host Sondra exudes southern hospitality and welcomes you with open arms. The house is complete with everything you can possibly need or want during your stay. The location is perfect as you are surrounded by historical homes and on one of the most beautiful streets in Galveston. You are right between downtown and the Seawall for easy sightseeing, shopping, entertainment and dining. There are not enough words to express how amazing our experience was. Do yourself a favor and dont miss an opportunity to vacation in this magnificent home!

Beautiful Galveston rental. Its just a few blocks to the beach or The Strand. Comfortable, nicely appointed, super quiet block. Our entire family of eight easily fit in the various bedrooms, and the kids had their own space downstairs to have fun all night. Kitchen had all the tools we needed. Pleasant owner is right next door, so anything else we needed for our four-day stay, she was right there to help. Overall, we couldnt have asked for a better time in Galveston -- the rides, the history, and the restaurants -- and the cozy Fleur de Lis house was great. Well be renting it again next year!

If you want to experience the beauty and history of Galveston Island, there is no better place to do that than the Fleur de Lis Cottage! Beautifully appointed and luxurious, this 1890s cottage has it all. It is perfectly located near the beach and shopping downtown. Additionally, the owner provides helpful information about restaurants and other venues--best concierge service around! This sweet cottage welcomes you to the island in comfort and style, and ensures you will want to come back!

Sondra is a lovely host! She attends to all of her guests needs, and is very respectful of their privacy. Her home is an enchanting historic Victorian era classic, and clearly she has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to make Fleur de Lis a one in a million experience for her guests. From her detailed restoration of the architectural features to her historic period furniture and modern kitchen, Fleur di Lis is your home away from home. The back yard is to die for and the man cave, well, you may never want leave the comfortable space! I highly recommend your stay at this very upscale and accommodating vacation home. A true taste of Galvestons welcoming debutante class.

I was invited to an a fishing trip and our guide recommended this place. This is a really beautiful home with a an excellent mix of Victorian and modern art located in a quiet little neighborhood . This place had everything we needed . I felt a little guilty being by myself but whether you’re on a vacation with your honey or with the family it really has everything. The owners live nearby and were available for a short course on the history of the home and area, which I truly enjoyed. I highly recommend this small piece of heaven and history !! Thank you again to Sandra and Peter for your southern hospitality !!! I will be back with the family .

The house is beautiful and is located in a historical part of Galveston. It was minutes from the beach and restaurants. The host Sondra was great and very attentive. Im looking forward to my next stay!

Wonderful home both inside and out.Nice patio in the back. Perfect for this time of year. Beautiful interior. Restored impeccably. Comfortable spot for a weekend get away. Enjoy Galveston’s history at a beautiful location.

The home is beautful and accomodating. It is located just a few blocks from downtown Galveston and the beaches. The owners have done a great job with this home and are wonderful hosts.
