This is a wonderful place. Unpretentious and comfortable. It’s a loved and cared for spot and they (Brittany? I think) will make you feel welcome. Spend a little time there and it’ll feel like home. -

We just spent 3 weeks at Dancing Dunes, this place is awesome, very clean, the beach is just around the corner, close to town, very quite, we loved it will return on our next trip to texas, also Becky and John are great hosts . They should clone Becky she is that great. Thank You for a great stay.. -

We will be back! Perfect place for my large group of friends and our annual Port A trip. We filled 4 of the cabins comfortably. It allowed for some couples to have their privacy. Yet we all met on the patio for meals. The detail in each cabin really shows the pride and love the owners have. The waterfall showers...Amazing! Becky was the greatest host! -

True Island feel. Perfect accommodations. Amazing host. Post Harvey renovations are absolutely beautiful and way cool. We stayed in the Rock and Roll room and didnt want to leave. We kept joking how the shower changed our lives. Its the rainfall from the ceiling style with a river rock bottom. In the evenings we would cook steaks and veggies in the outdoor kitchen with ease and convenience, and prepare other food in the amazing new kitchen that has everything you need and more to get the job done. Everything works well and we had ZERO stress and really cold AC. To me, that is priceless after a long day at the beach. Becky made sure everything was in perfect condition for us concerning every detail. We stayed three nights and after a very late checkout, reluctantly left the Dancing Dunes. We will definitely be back and cant thank Becky and her family enough for all of the hard work they put into their property post Harvey. After a devastating hurricane, you would think there would be details missed and lack of function somewhere? Not here! And, despite all they have been through, Becky is just as down to earth, genuine and quite lovely as ever. This can be a family place, a couples trip place, a solo trip place, large group place, etc. We cannot wait to go back next summer. Thank you, Becky for making our vacation special, stress free and relaxing! -

THE ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND!This is the best, most charismatic place on the island! John and Becky are the best hosts of any place I have ever stayed. My family has been coming here for years. Mine and my brothers company also did all of the roofs on the Dancing Dunes and all of the roofs survived Harvey. We come here as often as we can and there is no where else on the island that we would ever stay. -

Just returned home from 5 days in Port A and we stayed at Dancing Dunes and this place and Becky who runs it is amazing. We stayed in the Fish Cottage and it was wonderful. It was clean and just enough room. It was equipped with everything you would need. I would recommend Dancing Dunes for anyone who is visiting Port A. We do plan on another trip to Port A and when we do we are certainly going to stay here. Thank You Becky for the best time ever. -

What a wonderful experience we had staying here. Decided on short notice to bring my daughter and a few friends to the beach to celebrate the beginning of summer. Our reservation at another resort was cancelled because they weren’t quite 100% to reopen and lucky for us the Dancing Dunes had availability on our dates. We had the BEST time here. The Rock n’ Roll cabin was fun, spacious, clean and perfect for our group. We were close to the beach and close to everything in town. Becky and crew made us feel right at home and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. My daughter has already asked to go back next year. We loved the Dancing Dunes! -

Dancing Dunes is an awesome place to stay! The owner, Becky, is the kindest host. She was always quick on the responses if we had questions about the city and met all of our needs. Clean, spacious, nice furniture and utensils, lovely outdoor area especially early morning and late at night. Wouldn’t change a single thing! -

Visited for a mini-vacay. The host is so nice and welcoming. The house was full of accommodations and had a great personal beach theme. The house was super close to the beach and had enough room for everyone who stayed. I really enjoyed my time and cant wait to return! -

Only giving it 5 stars because there isn’t an option for 6. Seriously in love with this place! The owner Becky was so very sweet, and my boyfriend and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Despite the stormy weather for a day, our stay was absolutely perfect. Spent 5 days there for the 4th of july..Becky is great and really kind and helpful..the place was fully stocked with just about anything you need, except food and clothes lol ...it was a great place to stay and very clean. The kids and animal loved it there also. -

Our cabin The Rock & Roll was spacious, clean and very equipped with everything you would need for your stay. This was actually my 2nd time staying at Dancing Dunes and I will certainly be back. -

First time in Port Aransas with the family and were not sure where to stay. We wanted something comfortable for our family of four and close to the beach, and we found the dancing dunes. Becky immediately welcomed us to the Shell cabin. Clean, spacious, cool, and close to the beach! I would recommend the Dancing Dunes to my friends and family. We will be coming back to Port Aransas and looking to stay here again. Just might make it an annual or bi-annual getaway Becky! -

Dancing Dunes is a family friendly cabin style logging. Becky, the current owner, always had a warm smile and information on the local food and entertainment. Unlike the larger commercial hotels, the Dancing Dunes offer a small warm community feel. Since there is no pool, we swam in the community pool open 1-6 and the beach was a short walk away. Great location, warm friendly environment and a vacation worth talking about! You will not be disappointed with the Dancing Dunes. -

This is the 2nd year we have stayed here. This year 10 of us stayed in the rock n roll cabin. It had 2 full beds, 1 King and a futon in the living room. The kitchen is fully equiped with pots and dishes and the bathroom has enough towels for 20 people. The cabin is walking distance (2 blocks) from the beach but a nice old bike would be even better. There is an outdoor shower and hoses all around the cabins for guests to rinse off with, which proved to be very helpful with keeping sand out of the cabin. Halfway through our 5 day stay the owners took away all our sandy towels and gave us fresh ones. They were very sweet and frequently checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. I plan to stay at Dancing Dunes many years to come. I loved every minute I was there! -

The cabins are very clean and well maintained, the outside sitting areas were wonderful for our large group and entertaining with our local friends, and the owners/managers were so friendly and helpful with all of our questions and needs!
