    We had an amazing time. Definitely recommended. We came down for a birthday celebration and honestly I had just briefly mentioned it when I called, and when we arrived there was a nice birthday card waiting for me! So sweet and thoughtful. If I had to say something Id like to see as well would be that it would be nice to have some sort of social events or activities for Friday and Saturday for guests. If there were...I missed it. From start to finish...well done. Well be back.

    What a great experience! Great location, very well appointed cabins, hot tub was amazing, everything we needed was provided! James provided AMAZING service when I left my boots and kept them for me to go back and pick up. I cant wait to stay again!

    Great location, communication and service. Had an issue with both our sink and shower - but the staff was out the next AM to fix it. Great homey cabins with hot tubs - water was already warm too! Great dog park on property. Decorated all the way for Christmas. Closet could use a few hangers.

    Traveled to Wimberley for a wedding and stayed in Cottage 10 which had beautiful view from the deck. Kitchen was fully stocked so able to cook breakfast and dinner. Comfy beds and living area, boys enjoyed watching the college games on Saturday, easy drive into town for girls to shop! Enjoyed coffee on the deck. Son left his phone charger which was found and promptly shipped to him. Would definitely stay there again.

    We had an absolutely lovely getaway weekend! The cottage was exactly as advertised, very cozy, clean, and complete with everything we needed. It seems out in the woods, but it right around the corner from the charming downtown Wimberley, and even better, just minutes away from HEB! Only half an hour to Gruene, so we could enjoy the iconic dancehall as well. We will definitely choose this vacation again!

    We stayed in Cottage 1, the White Cottage. It was very clean and had everything we could need. We ordered a spa treatment and Cypress Creek Cottages handled all the arrangements for us. It was fabulous. They are very inclusive of our pups and even had a good sized fenced dog park. Would recommend the Blue Hole swimming area.

    The cottage we stayed in was perfect! We visit Wimberley often and typically get an AirBNB but this will now be our go-to place. Even the smaller cottages on the side opposite the river were plenty big for the two of us. Well stocked with everything you need, nice kitchen, and a super comfortable bed. Highly recommended!

    We truly enjoyed our stay at Cypress Creek Cottages. We stayed in Jade 11. The cottage was super clean, had everything we needed,Including a super comfy king size bed! It is close to shopping, bars, and restaurants. The hot tub worked great and the manager was prompt in responding to any of our questions. He even arranged a massage at Aloe Wimberly as the masseuse he uses had booked up. We are already talking about returning next summer!!

    Charming cabin right on Cypress creek with a magical view of the creek and incredible soaring Cypress trees. The cabin is clean and well equipped and has everything you need for a getaway. Comfy couch and bed! A quick but strong windy rainstorm blew in and watching the trees sway and crack was amazing. The storm cooled everything off and the hot tub was so great during the storm! Great location - quiet and away from the bustle of town.

    The most spacious and wonderful dog park for your fur babies!!! Schatzi loved it!The cottage was spotless and offered everything I needed. The special touches like luxurious robes, a keepsake candle and an ample supply of linens and towels were especially nice. I am very particular about my bed sheets and theirs did not disappoint! 100% cotton with 400 thread count were very acceptable.My stay was welcoming, serene and delightful. I shall return.

    What a great centrally located get away. The cabin was awesome, the grounds were awesome. Your really close to Blue Hole, Cypress Falls swimming hole and Jacobs well. Also close to the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake. Very peaceful and pleasant. Will definitely stay here again. my boys loved the place.

    We loved it there. The cottage was the perfect size and although one visits in a direction away from other cottages, they are still quite close to one another and the street was visible which was a pity.

    The cottage itself was nice, clean, cutely decorated, even had a small Christmas tree. It was very well stocked with plenty of towels and supplies, they really think of everything. What was really special, was the welcome kit for the dog, it made me feel like they understand that the dog is part of the family and just as important! The hot tub was so relaxing and appreciated. The complex is beautiful, clean, quiet, very well decorated for Christmas. Just a nice way to connect with nature and enjoy the Christmas season and shopping. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!

    A friend and I booked the cottage for a weekend girls trip and the cypress cottages did not disappoint! The room was clean, cozy and cute! The cottage had a private front porch and hot tub which we took full advantage of on a beautiful day in March. They had wonderful touches to make your pet feel included. The location was a short drive to the Wimberley square. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

    My wife, I and our little doggie really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. We really enjoyed how pet-friendly the business is, and that they prepared a bed, dog bowls, and toy for our fur baby. We stayed in #11 (Jade) and enjoyed the solitude. One recommendation: provide more comfortable outdoor seating, like rockers. That would be awesome.

    Beautiful grounds, and the cottage had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub. It is such a unique place for dog parents, there was a dog bowl, little treats, cover on the couch, even a little fenced dog park, our pup felt at home straight away.

    Nice spot, nice place, private & I love the trees.. Theres an area to walk by tall Cypress Trees. Nice area for smaller kids, especially boys. I, we love Rocks, water & stairs, all outdoors perfect to climb, jump & play.Upon arrival we did have an issue with the door and its entry. *Lady on the cart wasnt friendly, so she assumed were early & I assume the reason she drove off knowing the door wouldnt open.She literally saw us at the door, while I was smiling at her she drove off, the audacity to come back and saydoor wont unlock when youre early. We informed an additional charge was made.*Once we got door open, then it wouldnt lock. She literally told my daughter you can just leave it unlocked, itll be ok We went out that evening and the next morning, then leaving again with the door unlocked. So I called and a nice gentleman did fix the door correctly.Overall its a nice place, We Will Return!

    My wife and I decided to get out of the city for a few nights and quickly reserved a cabin. Upon arriving I realized I reserved a different cabin than the one I wanted, however the office kindly upgraded me since that unit was available. Not only that, but the hot tub needed some attention and after calling the office, someone arrived almost immediately and spent the next few hours draining, cleaning, re-filling and heating the tub. Basically the best customer service Ive ever had and on top of that, easy check in/out process and beautiful river. 10/10

    Recently spent a long weekend here with my husband, daughter and pup. The cabin has been nicely updated and has some fun amenities like the colorful fireplace and the private outdoor hot tub. We really enjoyed the privacy and tranquility of the property as well as its pet friendliness. The staff is truly accommodating. Location is a short drive to Wimberley Square. Highly recommended.

    This was the best getaway Ive ever takenOur cottage was spotlessly clean with modern, beautiful finishes. It was a great size for the 2 of us. We chose cabin 1, and it was an ideal location for us-the patio was completely private and not easily visible from the drive in. The grounds for the cottages were lovely and quiet. We visited from Sunday-Tuesday and it wasnt busy, we walked all over the grounds and didnt run into anyone else. It was conveniently located to the square but also right on the creek, ideal for exploring the views. We utilized the grill provided and that was a huge bonus for us.I didnt need much customer service wise, but every time I called, Albert answered and was extremely helpful and kind. I also booked an in-cottage massage which was a great add-on experience. Overall, it was perfect, and I couldnt been been more pleased.

    Cypress Creek Cottages is one of my favorite places to go when I need a little escape from the city. I have been here a few times over the years, and it never disappoints! The cottages are adorable and come with everything you need. They are also very close to Blue Hole for swimming. The staff members I have interacted with have been friendly and helpful. Such a peaceful vibe! We will definitely be back.

    Cottage blue was perfect for me and my 2 teen/young adult kids. The loft has 2 comfortable twin beds. The decor is super cute. King bed super comfy. Can’t stop bragging about it. Location great. 2 min drive from H‑E‑B and 5 min from Wimberley square. I would love to visit in the summer again with more water activities

    Our extended family was in Wimberly for a wedding and stayed at Cypress Creek Cabins #10, 11 and 12. It was wonderful and we will absolutely return there when in Wimberly. They were extremely clean and had everything we needed. The setting was gorgeous, overlooking the creek and huge old trees giving shade. I highly recommend a stay at the cabins.

    The cottages at Cypress Creek are truly unmatched for a weekend get-away or a week away with the family. My husband and I spent his birthday there with our dog and it exceeded out expectations. The place is spacious yet cozy, the outdoor space is amazing. We grilled and enjoyed the hot tub most nights but it is also the perfect distance to the cute little town so you can go grab a drink or explore if you want to! We will definitely be coming back in the summer, as the cottages are by a lot of hiking/swimming holes!

    This was our second time staying at Cypress Creek Cottages and it was great as always. Every staff member we came in contact with was extremely nice. They’re super pet friendly. The maintenance guy saw me walking my dog and he gave me extra treats for her which was very kind. The cottage was clean. Even with the other cottages rented out, it was very peaceful. Can’t wait to go back again.

    Our stay at Cypress Creek Cottages was exactly what we hoped for. We had the privacy of staying at an AirBnB, but the amenities and professionalism of a hotel. We rented unit 12, which had everything we needed, including a little welcome kit for our dog! The place was also very clean. It was perfectly located for our stay, in a very quiet area, but still close to everything we wanted to do. Well definitely be coming back!

    I cannot express enough how lovely our cottage was! From the furnishings to the location we loved every bit of our stay and cannot wait to go back. Perfect for a romantic getaway, girls weekend, etc...The welcome basket for pets is so sweet and our labs loved the toys and treats. Overall a wonderful experience!

    We loved our stay at Cypress Creek Cottages. We chose Orange #3, which is not on the creek, but the bedroom opens to a generously sized private hot tub. The king sized bed was super comfy, not too soft and not too firm. The place was spotlessly clean and super cute inside. We loved opening the blinds on the side wall of the house that look over nothing but trees. It was the relaxing getaway we needed and we will return! Great value, too!

    We have stayed at Cypress Creek Cottages for almost 10 years. Their customer service has always been great. The cottages are always very clean and homey. The recent design refresh takes them up a notch. I love the bright white interior. It always feels fresh and almost tropical. We have a tradition of spending our first night nearby on their Cypress Creek access before we visit all the other swimming holes in the area. We appreciate all the signs and instructions. Makes it so easy for guests.

    Had a wonderful time staying at Cypress Creek Cottages! The cottages are very nicely done. Looks to be all new. Everything was fresh and clean and had everything you would need. King bed was great and so was the hot tub. Our weather was rainy but the cottage was perfect with an electric fireplace to give you a nice feel. We love that its pet friendly as we like to take our pup with us. They even give bedding, treats and a toy for your pet!

    We traveled for a quick getaway to relax and this was the perfect place. The setting is beautiful and serene. The staff is informative. The cottage had everything we needed to cook every night. Heb is a minute away and very convenient if you need anything. The creek was gorgeous and in the backyard of the property. Our puppy absolutely loved the area and the extra special attention. All in all, this was a fantastic trip. We would definitely recommend it!

    We love staying at Cypress Creek Cottages. They are comfortable, roomy, with all the amenities you need to have a great get away. And they allow you to bring your dog! They are close to downtown Wimberley but still away from all the crowds! We have stayed there before ad will return again in the spring!

    My husband and I had such a wonderful, relaxing time at Cypress Creek Cottages. They had really nice designs throughout the cottage and it was very cozy! They also supplied us with everything we needed and more. We especially loved our own hot tub in the covered porch area of our cottage. They knew we were staying for my birthday and even left me a card and a small gift. We agree that we would definitely stay again❤❤❤

    If youre on the fence about trying the cottages, pull the trigger. Absolutely do it! Hubby and I spent an anniversary overnight in the purple cottage and we loved every minute of our stay. Upon arrival we found an anniversary card and candle for us. The company also emailed and text us updates prior to our stay. We added on the early in and late out option. We checked in at 1pm and out at 1pm next day. There was also a complimentary pass for us to swim at the cypress falls swimming hole (also a great experience, we learned to paddle board). Our cottage also had the private hot tub, patio furniture, BBQ and fire pit with swing seating. Based on our experience, I can see this being a great place for couples, groups, and families. My husband kept saying next time we are bringing the kiddo and the dogs. Just an overall amazing experience. Cant wait for the next visit.

    Loved every minute we were there! Just like the pictures show! Our view by the creek was beautiful, so peaceful and restful, great place to unwind from all the stress. Very clean and the bed was super comfortable. And the doggy welcome kit was so sweet. So many warm touches that have made this our new favorite home away from home place. Staff is very friendly too. We can’t wait to go back!

    My wife and I stayed here with our pups for our anniversary. Loved the vibe, grounds, and cottage. Dogs loved playing in the creek.The hospitality was fantastic. Note to the dogs along with toys and treats. An anniversary card for us, and a candle.Provided coffee was great and with the way they laid everything out, we could feel secluded and enjoy it on the deck.Only downside was the bed was too firm for my wife, and the pillows were thin which was problematic for us both.We will definitely be back, just with our own pillows.Note that the town is great too and the cafe is on point, but thats a review for another post.

    We stayed here for 5 days and it was by far the most relaxing vacation Ive ever had. The cabin was cozy, clean, quiet, and well appointed. Management left some nice greeting cards for us since we were celebrating special occasions and the free candle was a nice touch. The private hot tub was a big plus, as was the grill. HEB was right down the road so picking up supplies was convenient. Overall, 5 stars. Ill definitely return!

    Great weekend for extended dog- loving family visit! There were 13 of us with 10 dogs in 6 cabins. Fenced shady dog park with covered seating area with big fan was very popular with our group. We ate our dinners together in the very nice Pavillion, had a memorable evening around the huge stone firepit, lots of firewood provided. The service staff was lovely and gracious and welcoming. The cabins are very nice, clean, comfortable, fully stocked. Just a great place!

    The stay with Cypress Creek Cottages was absolutely amazing! We were celebrating B-days during our stay. The staff were courteous and available when needed. The cottages with the amenities were spectacular. Very cozy and clean. We absolutely fell in love with the area. Cypress Creek and area wildlife is right outside the doors of these cottages. Plenty to do in Wimberley and surrounding area if youre wanting to explore. My wife and I would definitely be back.

    Exceptionally clean and everything was as advertised. Very quiet and I had the cabin closest to the road. They come really well stocked with small items that make it feel more like a home away from home than a typical hotel room. Hot tub was excellent with water that seemed well treated, etc.Id recommend the coffee addon. The cups are nice keepsakes and the coffee is excellent.

    Great place to stay with family and fur babies. Our cabin was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Great location, close to all the great things in Wimberly and only a few short steps from a dip in the cool refreshing creek to cool down on a hot summer day.My family will definitely be staying here again.

    We stayed at Cypress Creek Cottages in Cottage 10 last week for 5 days and everything was perfect. The Cottage was just what you see in the pictures and they supplied all the amenities needed. We really enjoyed the view and going down to the creek with our dog and grandkids (our grans were staying in Cottage 9 next to us). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The place was very clean and the staff came everyday to see if we needed anything. It is just up the road from the square. I highly recommend it and we are hoping to go back in the spring/summer because I know the creek will be even more beautiful then.

    We stayed in #4 (Red) from 8/14-8/17 last week. The Cottage was immaculately clean and ready for our arrival. The VIP package for our two older dogs was fantastic and they both loved their pillows and bowls. We enjoyed our porch and hot tub every evening and morning. Watching the deer stroll through the backyard was quite the sight to see. The staff we met were extremely friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We will certainly be back.

    We enjoyed our getaway here. We were able to be on the creek side so it was a wonderful view of the huge cypress trees lining the creek bed. We were able to go down to the creek via steps provided by the cottages. It was really neat that we were able to have our dog, Harvey with us. He enjoyed his vacation and they are very dog friendly at Cypress Creek. They had a bowl, a pillow bed and treats set out for Harvey when we got there. I would highly recommend it.

    Our family and friends spent the weekend celebrating my sisters birthday. The property and accommodations were great. Very comfortable. We rented the pavilion for Saturday night to cook and enjoy some music. It was a perfect set up. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. We will be back!!!

    This place so comfortable and has all the amenities you need to make your trip enjoyable. Very nicely decorated and the owners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. It has a kitchen with full size refrigerator, an electric stove with 2 burners, all the pots and pans you need as well. A private jacuzzi was also a nice amenity. We will be staying here again real soon. Cant wait!

    Our experience was wonder as usual. The neighbor had a yappy dog that barked late in the night. They had no control over that. I will always stay with Cypress Creek Cottages when in Wimberley.

    Wonderful getaway in the hill country. Charming rental house, very clean, kitchen fully stocked (except for cutting board, which would have been a nice item to have). Delicious coffee! Private hot tub. We could make our own meals and HEB is nearby. If you like to hear birds in the morning, this is your happy spot. Loved the cardinals. Creek was at low water but still nice to have nearby.

    Absolutely fantastic!!!!!! Wife and I needed to get away for a weekend and was recommended to cypress creek cottages from a friend. The quality of everything inside to out was great, comfy bed, heat and AC, hot tub, the grounds were clean and best of all....extremely pet friendly.The staff was accommodating when we had questions, we ordered the romance package, don’t drink so they supplied sparkling juice instead of Prosecco.You can tell they work hard to provide an experience and they did very well, we will return.

    The cabin was really clean and the hot tub was already hot and ready to go! Pet friendly is an understatement- they really do cater to your pup. The creek was beautiful and the location was perfect- we were close to jacobs well and the blue hole. We will definitely be back again!

    We enjoyed our relaxing getaway at Cypress Creek Cabins. It was nice being able to just show up; no check in process involved as everything was provided at the time of booking. We stayed in Green cabin 5. There are several cabins but they are spaced far enough apart that it still felt very private. The cabin looked just as shown online and was clean and cool inside when we arrived. They were very thoughtful in appointing the cabin with just about everything you might need for your stay. We loved the hot tub, although I couldn’t figure out how to work it - my partner had to do it. The Wi-fi signal was excellent. Across the road there is a path that leads down to a small creek area where we enjoyed hanging out. It’s a small area at most a couple of feet deep, perfect for a few people lounging in the water, but it is rocky so don’t forget the water shoes! The cabin location was great; very close to grocery, restaurants, blue hole park, and Wimberley square. Hope to return for another stay!

    We absolutely loved our stay at Cypress Creek Cottages. We stayed here during our wedding week and we absolutely loved it. Compared to some of the other cottages, ours may not have been the most recently updated, but it served our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub and deck were probably our favorite parts of the cottage. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. Check-in was super easy, too. Thank you for a great place for us to stay when we got married!

    We absolutely recommend this property! We made arrangements during the covid surge this past winter for my daughter’s wedding on June 13, 2022. We wanted a place where guests had their own accommodations and could gather in an outdoor setting. We rented all 12 cabins and had the wedding and reception on site. My daughter and her new husband had their ceremony down by the creek. It was perfect. Guests loved their cabins and were able to explore the local restaurants and swimming holes before the ceremony and reception in the evening. I booked directly through their site and everyone I worked with was so helpful and accommodating. Any issues were addressed immediately. They have done so much work on the grounds and remodeling of the cabins. It is all just beautiful. My husband and I will be back to enjoy this property when we do not have to do a wedding and can relax a little more!     We visited Cottage #1 from June 7th-10th. What an amazing property. My son who is 6 and I had fun walking around looking at all the metal yard animals. Cypress Creek was so relaxing had plenty of chairs to sit in the water and relax. The Cottages are very clean and are stocked with lots of items you would use when cooking etc. We will be visiting again next summer. I loved the fact is was close to H‑E‑B and downtown Wimberley shopping and restaurants. Customer service is A++++++ here honestly.     We were very impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of our cottage. The staff is super friendly, and they make it a point to be unobtrusive. Our cottage overlooked the creek, and the back deck was wonderful for our morning coffee. The cottage itself is well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, toiletries, and cleaning items. The location is convenient to downtown Wimberley, shopping, and outdoor activity. The grounds are very well kept. We plan to visit again. It was the perfect low key getaway that my family prefers.     Perfect little getaway spot! It felt so private and had all that we needed! Close to the shopping area and still tucked away. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, playing card games on the patio, and exploring the grounds…even waded in the creek. Kitchen had enough stuff to do a meal there and roomy enough for our family. They had coffee for the morning and even extra towels and robes for getting out of the hot tub when it’s chilly! Bed was super comfortable too! They really thought it out. Easy check-in too! We are definitely going back!

    We recently stay in cottage nine. It was a fantastic experience coupled with the fact we had two dogs traveling with us. They added mini items that made our pets quite comfortable. Being able to get into a Jacuzzi was a wonderful addition to our fantastic stay. In the morning, we took the dogs down to the creek and they enjoyed running around and playing in the water. We stayed for a night just for a quick getaway and our experience turned into a treasured memory for years to come. We look forward to coming back again.

    These cottages were perfect! They were very private and yet accessible to everything to do in Wimberley and the Hill Country area. The check-in and check-out was so easy and the pet package was a perfect touch! Highly recommend this place for a solo trip, family vacation, or even a meet up with friends. The cottage had nearly ALL the bells and whistles you could need to feel at home. The creek was a lovely perk and experiencing deer grazing just outside the door before dusk was a cherry on my cake!

    We had a blast at Cypress Creek Cottages. The hot tub was amazing. The bed was so comfortable- I dont think Ive ever actually missed a bed when I came home from vacation, but it is so soft and giant. We had such a nice time with our baby & dog there. The customer service is amazing and it was the most relaxing vacation Ive had in a long time. The only thing that could have been better about our stay in the #9 cottage was the couch- it wasnt super comfortable, but that is hardly a reason not to stay. There are giant trees everywhere and the porch was screened in so it wasnt as cold as it could have been while getting into the hot tub. We ended up adding 2 more nights onto our original stay because we didnt want to leave. 10/10 would stay again.

    This place was quiet and cozy and I love the fact they are pet friendly. The heater in the bathroom was a nice touch and the hot and ready jacuzzi was perfect on our chilly night. The only reason I gave it four stars is because somebody came into our patio (cleaning?) before check out time and took things that belonged to me on the table. We would stay again but I did let the desk know.

    This place offered all the rest and relaxation I hoped for and pet friendly too! Thoughtful touches like a welcome care package for my dog and my favorite coffee no less, Fara, so they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My cottage, #11, backed up creekside and we did enjoy exploring the area. The hot tub was a bonus for sure. The town is only a short distance away, as are the many wineries and parks.The staff maintains the premises well... they were accessible and helpful but left you to your privacy.If you want a cabin experience but with all the comfort, then go to Cypress Creek Cottages! I will definitely be back soon.

    So close and yet so wonderfully far away from the hustle and the bustle of city life, Cypress Creek Cottages provided exactly what I was looking for: a quiet, naturally gorgeous place where my two dogs and I could unwind and relax for a few days. Our cabin suited us perfectly. The dogs were greeted with treats and felt right at home. Kitchen was well equipped (I would have preferred a bigger refrigerator); the living area and bedroom were comfortable and ample space for us. A lovely visit overall. Would love to do it again.

    Had a wonderful and peaceful time. The beds were very comfortable. My kids had a great time relaxing by/in the creek. They provide free coffee which is great! The town is only a few minutes away if you need to grab last minute items. Highly recommend especially if you want a secluded getaway. The only dislike I had was some of the dishes were dirty but either way I washed before I used. The stopper in the bathroom was broken so the water wouldnt go down, not a biggie. Also the hot tub had dirt, again we still went in and showered afterwards.

    Highly recommend Cypress Creek Cottages. Would go back lickety split! Cottage #5 was in a pretty area - not near the creek but very quiet with shade from the trees for the car. (You need that in July.) Great ac with excellent memory foam bed. Hand held shower head always a plus. Good room to spread out, although bedroom was pretty cozy / not a problem though. We did not cook but it was nice to have the kitchen sink and counters to use. Super duper clean and new. Very close to downtown Wimberley - 5 mins away. The Blue Hole was 5 mins away also which was nice. They are on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle of town.One tip for the owner - cottage was pretty toasty at check-in time and took a few hours to cool off. It would be nice if the ac was turned down to 74-72 at check-in. We came in boiling hot from shopping in town and it could have been more pleasant.

    My sisters and I wanted a Sisters Weekend away from everything else and just enjoy ourselves. Cypress Creek Cottages was a great place for us to stay. It was a little difficult with only one bathroom and three women, but we managed. The only concern I had was that the deck was not swept and did not look like it had been in a while, and we could not find a broom. No biggy since we were not responsible for cleaning. Beautiful scenery and a great little town.

    My wife and I recently stayed a few days and nights at CCC. Upon our arrival, we found a birthday card on the table from CCC wishing her a happy birthday and a candle, along with the passes for Blue Hole which we purchased through the site, when we booked our stay.The cottage was clean (mostly) and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The cottage had a nice LED tv with cable and wi-fi internet.The bed was a king size and was very comfortable to sleep on. The cottage had lots of natural light during the day and had a nice canopy of cedar trees covering it, along with some sort of wine grape intertwined in the cedar branches. Also, the cabin had two mini-split AC units and two large ceiling fans for cooling. With that being said, the mini-splits felt like they were struggling to keep things comfortable. Im not sure if its because they needed a recharge or were just struggling to keep up with the summer heat, but the cottage felt like it was at a constant temperature range of 76-78 degrees. Even my wife who cant sleep with fans, asked me to turn them on every night.As nice as our stay was, it wasnt perfect. When we first got there, we had issues with the door lock. The issue happened after hours and no one answered the phone when I called the office. Luckily, we were able to find a work around and someone came out the next day to fix it. In my opinion, CCC should have an after hours number in case of emergencies. The other issue we had was that the cottage doesnt have any window curtains. While the windows do have blinds, they had gaps which allow someone to look in from the outside and also allowed the moonlight into the cabin. Two of the nights we were there, the cottage was so bright from the moonlight, we didnt need a night light. Having curtains will resolve those two issues.While the cottage was very clean, it failed where most businesses of this type do, and thats the area under the bed. I dropped something and it rolled under the bed, so I grabbed my flashlight and was surprised to see not dust bunnies, but dust dinosaurs. It looked like it hadnt been cleaned in some time.There are two access points to the creek, one near the main road and the other by cottage nine (if I remember correctly). The one near the main road is an narrow easement that leads straight to the water. However, theres no way to easily get into or out of the creek from what I saw. The other access point is bone dry, as of this review. The water is clear and looks really cool, but without a way to access it.All in all, we loved our stay here and will definitely come back in the future.

    Peaceful, serene, private, and pet friendly....Who could ask for more? My husband and I absolutely loved staying in Cottage #9 , the Amethyst Cottage. We wanted to get away for a few days and just decompress and relax. The cottage is very well equipped, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved it so much we hardly ventured out anywhere. We made good use of screen porch, hot tub, and deck overlooking the creek. We enjoyed sitting by the creek and taking in all the natural beauty. We will definitely come back. Cypress Creek Cottages are a hidden gem in the Texas Hill Country.

    We stayed in the Orange #3 cottage and were thoroughly impressed with our lodging. The cottage was spotlessly clean, smelled wonderfully fresh, and provided all the amenities we needed. We specifically looked for a place with a private hot tub, and that is not a common amenity. The outdoor hot tub was clean, hot, and easily operated. Unfortunately the 98 degree weather outside made it a bit too hot to stay in the tub for long. We walked across the road to Cypress Creek and sat in provided chairs instead, dipping our toes in the cool flowing water. What a peaceful experience! I highly recommend Cypress Creek Cottages and would love to stay there again one day.

    We went for our anniversary and absolutely loved it, We had to move a couple of times due to my not calling back promptly, but the staff moved our things to the next cabin. Everyone is very friendly and helpful! The cottages were very clean and welcoming, and we enjoyed the private hot tub after a long day of sight seeing. Next time we will probably bring our dog because it is so pet friendly, and they also give a portion of the pet fee to the local no kill shelter... That is a HUGE plus in my book. You will love it as we did.. ENJOY!

    We stayed in Amethyst for 4 nights with our 2 dogs. The cottage was really nice and comfortable- it had everything we could possibly want in it.     This place was great!! Absolutely loved the atmosphere. We stayed in the orange cabin. It was beautifully decorated. Very clean and it was nothing else existed outside those walls it was so peaceful. We got engaged on the top of Old Baldy too. Everything was just great. Its a beautiful town with beautiful places to see. The king size bed was so comfortable. The only two negative things I can say but it wont take away from this 5 star rating is the pillows on the bed were old, flat and uncomfortable. And the hot tub needed more curtains on the side and front for privacy. Other than that I want to say thank you so much for a beautiful get away. We will definitely be back!!

    My 2 boys, aged 15 & 8 and I love this special place! The private hot tub on our deck was great to get in after a long day at the creek & river! The creek is just a minute or 2 walk directly accessed from the property! The staff is awesome! I mentioned to the manager, Jess, that I was going to grill later that night on our way out for a day of swimming grill & mentioned that I was going to have to pick up charcoal, etc and he said that he would have the charcoal & fluid ready for me on my return! And it was AND he upgraded the pit from a small round one to a larger one with a smoker! The cottage was AMAZING! We will ALWAYS come back to this community! Love love love it!!

    This was overall an awesome experience. Beautiful property with cottages. The hot tub was awesome.One night I cooked in the cottage and there were utensils, pots and pans and pretty much everything I needed. Its pet friendly as well so my boyfriend and I brought our two cats as well. There were some thoughtful touches in regards to our pets, some pet food, food bowls to eat out of, and cat toys :) Super close to Wimberley square where all the restaurants and shops are so the location was great. The bed was awesome too! Got some great sleep there. The only issue for us was the size of the cabin, felt a little bit small considering my boyfriend is 64. there were times where we felt a little bit cramped.Would highly recommend overall!

    Ive stayed at Cypress Creek Cottages a few times now. First in the Coral and then in the Jade. The cottages and the grounds are adorable. I love that it is pet friendly and it is easy to take a walk with the dogs around the cottage grounds. We love that we get a warm personalized welcome. If you have an issue, management is nearby to see if you need anything but you have your privacy . The cottages are well stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable. The views from the decks are gorgeous - either of cypress creek or wooded. It is super close - a mile maybe to HEB and another mile or so to Blue Hole Park and downtown Wimberley but feels secluded on the creek. Ive never had any issue. We love it and will be back.

    Absolutely fabulous place to stay. We had family and friends stay in other cottages and they felt the same. Everything you needed was there in the cottage weather it be the kitchen, robes, plenty of towels. I could go on forever. Then Wimberly being so close, we had our friends go into town while we were busy for our daughters wedding day and they loved it. They came in from Ohio, Florida, Michigan and loved it. When everyone left we stayed an extra day to unwind and found Cypress Falls relaxing. So much around there. Thank you is not enough for this wonderful place to stay.

    Much needed getaway with wife and senior rescue dogs. Terrific cabin with great creek view from deck. Sauna! Charcoal grill was great during virus restrictions: grilled taters, corn and Beyond Burgers one day. Had in-cabin dog-care one day so wife and I could roam less encumbered. Came back to happy dogs. Highly recommended. Awesome staff, appreciated little touches for pooches (treats and toys); most dog-friendly place we’ve been. Plan a trip back this winter.

    Perfect getaway for our Anniversary/Valentines day. We decided to stay here because of all the great reviews, specifically for our furbaby Rocco. We always look for pet friendly places but not everyone accepts larger breeds. This place was a dream for him.     Love Cypress Creek Cottages!! We’ve done a girls trip 3 times in the purple cottage and it’s been perfect every time. The house is clean, beds are comfortable, plenty of towels and robes.     It was Amazing. I can’t say enough great things about our stay. My husband and I went without the kids for a quiet get away. The cottage was so secluded and just perfect for what we were after. And I’m sure the owners are wonderful but we didn’t even have to interact with them just put in the access code. The private hot tube alone you just can’t beat! The beds were wonderful and so cozy. I hope we can do this once a year! Tons of shops all over in the area and wonderful tasty restaurants and food trucks. We also visited Hamilton pool preserve and Austin both were not a far drive at all.

    I booked this for a weekend getaway and this place surpassed expectations. I opted for a few of their experiences and was very pleasantly surprised with the follow-through. Beer was in the fridge, extra ice was already made and in the freezer, along with chilled glasses. The kitchen space is fully functional with all the utensils you need to make full meals. We utilized the grill and were lucky enough that the burn ban lifted the day we were there so we got to have a fire in the pit. Wonderful experience and will certainly go back. The flower arrangement was beautiful and its still in my kitchen right now. :). Also, for my fellow introverts - although this is technically in a community we didnt hear or see a single person nearly the whole time we were there. For people not from the area - like myself - the Wimberley Market on Saturday is a bizarre but intriguing experience with random live music of multiple kinds, loads of very different booths and vendors, and beer. VERY busy, so definitely go for the beer, but overall an enjoyable experience. Watch out for lots of people having random fabric wagons trailing behind them as they stagger and loaf about.

    We spent 4 nights in Cabin 8 Black. It was great. The King bed was very comfortable and the 2 twins up in the loft were perfect for the kids. The hot tub is a nice touch too! While you do have to walk across the road they do have creek access. While we didnt soak in the creek, we did walk over. The water was clear and varied from about 1ft to 5 ft deep.We even had a fire and did smores one night. Very nice cabin and location. We were only about 3 minutes from HEB.

    Our stay could not have been any more perfect! The cottage was beautiful and very clean. It was my boyfriends birthday and they left him a birthday card which was so kind.     Had a lovely stay at Cypress Creek Cottages this past week. We stayed in Cabin #2 (Yellow) closest to the Pet Park. The cottage looked recently renovated because it was so new looking and uber clean.     Had a great time at the Cypress Creek Cottages for a wedding. Stayed in cabin 10 and it had an awesome deck overlooking the creek and woods.     My family and I (my husband and our two teens) had a wonderful time in our cottage which overlooked Cypress Creek. I called last minute to try to book a one-night stay since our original plans someplace else didnt work out and the office staff was very responsive and accommodating; they even extended our checkout time since we checked in so late the night before. There is very easy access to the creek and the cabin was equipped with all the necessities. It was very clean and private with a privacy fence between the cottages. I would stay every weekend if I could!!

    Great location, clean and comfortable cottages, and the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. Every staff member I interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Most pet friendly stay I’ve ever had hands down. Really thoughtful attention to making the stay comfortable for your pet. ❤️You will only need Tupperware or ziplock bags for the kitchen; everything else is provided (I recommend bringing a sharp knife for cutting watermelon if that applies to you). The cutting board also had some type of cleaning agent on it that flavored the food so you may want your own. The sauté pans are nonstick and better quality than you find in most vacation rentals. I loved that they provided a recycle bin I side and convenient outdoor cans for each unit.The complimentary coffee was awesome and they supply plenty of towels, including some for your pup. I was able to dry her after creek adventures as well as bathe her prior to leaving.If you’re on the creek side there’s steps to manage to access the water - which might be a challenge for senior guests or pups. The location is perfect, just a mile from downtown Wimberley.This is a great pet friendly place to stay, whether you’re a family with young kids, older kids, a couple, or just looking for some solitude.

    LOVED, LOVED, LOVED! Just as wonderful and peaceful as the pictures look. The staff is great and adds so many warm touches to their cabins that make them truly special.     This was an amazing resort!!!! I took my daughter and her friend for my daughter’s birthday and they were so nice that they had a card and balloons in the cottage waiting for us upon on our arrival.The creek passes we bought were equally amazing!The staff is wonderful and very honest.I left my diamond earrings and they found them after a long search and shipped them back to me.I would strongly suggest this resort as a must see in future vacas.

    My wife and I stayed in cottage #9 recently. This was our second stay in these cottages. The experience was wonderful. Cottage was very clean and well stocked with dishes, towels, and a comfortable bed. Had a nice time relaxing in the hot tub and some quiet time on the back deck watching fireflies and listening to the water flowing by in the creek. Will definitely be back again.

    My family and I absolutely love Cypress Creek Cottages. This was our 4th time staying here. I started each day with a cup of coffee while sitting out on the deck and watching the deer come to the creek for a drink of water. It was so peaceful and relaxing.     We had a family reunion of 23 and reserved 9 cottages. The grounds and cottages were very well maintained. While a few cottages still need some updates, we were very pleased with the cleanliness and decor of these cottages. Communication with management was excellent and were very responsive to our questions and needs. We used the pavilion for our nightly meals which provided a great kitchen, serving bar, seating, heaters and a bathroom. The firepit was a hit with the younger kids for making smores. Cypress Creek Cottages is conveniently located very close to the town of Wimberley and grocery stores. Dont forget to check out The Shady Llama which is 8 minutes down the road. You can feed their Llamas, have a beer/wine, eat at the two food trucks, enjoy firepits, watch a game on their outdoor TVs, kids/adults can run around and play games....it was a great experience! We enjoyed ourselves so much at Cypress Creek Cottages that we plan on another family trip here next year.

    My wife and I stayed there this past week in cottage 3. It was fantastic we enjoyed ourselves greatly. It was nice and quiet, the location is fantastic for what we like to do. The hot tub was nice after our adventures in Austin and San Antonio. We really liked the idea of having the grill and fire pit, our only complaint was we could not find the charcoal and fire wood that was said to be on site. That was a minor thing we really enjoyed everything else. It gave us time to reconnect and fall in love again. We spent the quiet time talking just being a couple again in this busy day and age where we are going in different directions and not having the ability to spend that quality time together. It was nice to have that time to spend with each other and fall deeper in love. We are currently planning a family vacation with all the kids in one of the other cabins. We can not wait till we get the chance to come back.

    My bestie, I, and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cypress Creek Cottages. CCC was in the perfect location for the places we wanted to visit near WImberly. The Coral Cottage was spacious inside and out. We loved the open concept. The back deck was large and had an unobstructed view of the creek. It was a great spot for our morning coffee and evening soju. In the late evenings, you could see/hear deer wandering through the property. It was a nice and peaceful getaway. Our medium/large dogs, Haven and Boogs, enjoyed the dog beds as pillows. A morning walk to the dog park for them to relax off leash as we sipped our coffee and planned our day. The dog toys were a very sweet and appreciated touch. The back deck was their HD tv...lol. Everyone gave it a thumbs/paws up. We look forward to staying at Cypress Creek Cottages again in the future!     What an amazing stay. The cottage we stayed in, Red, was quaint and cozy. Not only was it clean, but has the comforts of home, including cookware. This cottage is at a short distance from a river where you could sit and listen to nature. Our deck faced light forestry where we were visited daily by squirrel, cardinals, finches, and deer! The staff that we had the pleasure meeting, Jesse, Megan, and Kharma, were absolutely delightful and helpful and gave great recommendations for what the town has to offer.     My wife and I spent two nights in cabin 9 with our two dogs and had an amazing time! The thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. The details were well thought out from the VIP welcome dog sleeping pillow, toy, and treats, and all of the citronella candles in the outdoor spaces. We enjoyed swimming in the creek with our dogs and especially loved the closed in deck and sunroom while we all dried off. We will definitely be coming back!

    Love both the cottages and staff! My husband and I have stayed in Cypress Creek Cabins 5 times in the past 2 years. We love it there. They are extremely pet friendly making it an enjoyable stay for our two large dogs. The cabins are always clean and have a welcoming and relaxing feel to them.     Very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were hoping for in a week away from home and work. The cottage (orange #3) was well supplied and very comfortable. 1.4 miles from Wimberley and a few hundred feet to access cypress creek. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and very respectful of your privacy. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. Water pressure excellent. Be sure to check out the Wimberley Cafe and Community Pizza and Craft bar on the square. Shamrock breakfast tacos were delicious. Our cottage had two A/C wall units that kept the rooms cold. They were a little noisy at night but not to the point of being a nuisance. The cypress trees surrounding the cottage were artworks in themselves. Juniper berries by the hundreds. Going back in October for the art festival (got Black #9 cottage). Highly recommend.

    Stayed for New Years and loved it. Probably will be back soon. Its the cleanest place weve stayed at that allows dogs, and I love the little gifts and dog amenities! The staff were nice and would drive by and ask if we needed anything. I love the porch and the clean hot tub, and the access to the river. I noticed that wifi was slow or down when the other cabins next to us were full, but when they all checked out the wifi was fine.

    We chose to stay here our first night in Wimberley based on reviews on this site, and we were not disappointed. The cottages are located in a wooded area a little ways from the main highway and main part of town, so that provided a nice atmosphere but was also not too far away from getting into town to do things, eat, etc. Each cottage is a separate dwelling structure apart from the others, which allows for great privacy. We did not hear other people the entire time we were there. The wooded atmosphere is also nice for relaxing, as there are benches in the yard and also an umbrella table and chairs on the porch, either of which are great for enjoying your morning coffee, having a meal, etc. We were in cottage #7, which has a nice living room, kitchen, dining table, queen size bed, and also upstairs twin beds for kids or other people. It was more sleeping areas than the two of us needed, but it was the only cottage available when we booked. The bed was very comfortable and we got a good nights sleep. One of our favorite features of this place was the hot tub. The cottage has a private hot tub located on a wooden deck right outside the cottage, and it has walls surrounding it for excellent privacy. Very enjoyable indeed. Highly recommend staying here.

    We needed a get away and extended our memorial weekend to stay at the Cottages. Great spot. My fiancee and I are looking for places for our family can stay if we book and event space in wimberly. Loved the Green Cabin and love the add on experience options. They really try to make your stay relaxing and smooth sailing. Wish we could have stayed longer to appreciate more of the amenities. The rainy and muddy weather kept us in, but the space is so comfy and we got to bring our dogs, so still perfect. The dogs loved their VIP package. Super thoughtful. Some tips: bring some bbq stuff, and firewood, if the weather allows, take advantage! Also mosquito repellent, they were more vicious than our San Antonio/Austin mosquitos and we were carelessly enjoying that porch longer than we should have without repellent. It was a good time. They even responded very quickly when I had an issue with an ad on experience. Super thankful.

    This place couldn’t have been more amazing!I have zero complaints! The cottage was absolutely stunning, it was beautiful, it was the perfect size, we stayed in cottage number nine (the amethyst)The back yard was absolutely amazing as well, it had a huge patio that was enclosed by a screen with the door that had a Jacuzzi inside The screen room. It had curtains around so that you could have privacy and that screen room. And beyond that screen room there was another porch that extended over the river. The view was stunning, you could see the river, the nature, The sunset. There was a grill, there was a fireplace area, there was chairs, there was a table. Inside the house it was fully equipped with everything that you would need in your home. It had your pots pans, napkins, soap, utensils, fridge, I mean everything everything! There was not one thing that I lacked in that cabin! There was a fireplace in the cozy living room, it was a two bedroom, with a pull out couch, and with an extra spare pull out bed. There was TVs in each room, there was tons of towels in the restroom. It was just the best stay ever, it’s saved us going out to eat as we were able to cook our whole stay there in Wimberley Texas. We didn’t need to bring anything from home, as there was a grocery store exactly 2 minutes from our cottage. everything was in tiptop shape when we showed up, it was perfectly clean. We will definitely be coming back soon, we are already looking for reservations. This is the best place I have ever been, not to mention we didn’t have to pay a single dime anywhere we went, since all these public parks were free that had the rivers, which were listed in a book that was in the room they gave us ideas on what to do while we were there in Wimberley.     We had an awesome experience at Cypress Creek Cottages. What a great place to stay for a vacation in Wimberley,TX. We are always wanted/looking for a place with our own personal hot tub and this place delivers that. The accommodations were excellent. The manager (Jess) was very helpful. The response to a call to manager,maintenance personnel was prompt. The whole cottageis very clean and comfortable. We found our place to stay every time we visit Wimberley.

    We had been wanting to plan a vacation for our dogs and us .     Absolutely fell in love with our cottage (#12) and the town of Wimberley. The cottage was perfect with all the amenities that we needed and our new puppy, Maverick, felt right at home as well! Although it was quite hot outside to really enjoy the hot tub, we did relax one night in it! This place is definitely a must if you plan to stay in Wimberley. Affordable, beautiful, quiet and right on the creek!

    Nice place. This was our third visit. Enjoyed our stay. Only complaint was that cable reception wasn’t good. Would lose reception multiple times making it difficult to watch. We did the massage package it was very good. It is always a relaxing time for my husband and I.

    Girls weekend was spent in Amathyst #9. The views are stunning and the cottage was quiet and beautifully furnished with a full size kitchen, hot tub, comfortable king size beds and an electric fireplace. The Cottages are less than 5 minutes from downtown Wimberley.

    Very clean and nice layout. Cottages were secluded but conveniently located to Wimberley and Dripping Springs. The price was fair to market and what you got. Loved the individual hot tubs. Want to go back!!!

    My family and I had so much fun staying in these cottages. They were clean, comfortable, and I LOVE that we were able to bring our dogs!! We cant wait to come back and visit again!

    Nice, clean cottages/cabins at good prices. Small kitchen area with stove and fridge, great WiFi, super comfortable beds. Check in is simple, you never have to do anything but go straight to your cottage with the door code you are emailed. Cottages are a little close to one another but you never feel crowded. Also has patio and hot tub, though the hot tub isn’t quite as ‘private’ as they state as most are unfortunately situated right in front of the steps to the cottage. Just a few minutes from downtown Wimberley square and the local H-E-B if needed, but still feels plenty secluded. Also just as pet friendly as they advertise if that’s what you’re looking for. Recommended.

    Great trip. The cottage was clean and stocked with cooking utensils and everything we needed. AC window units were downstairs and upstairs. Hot tub was clean. Fire pit and barbecue pit didnt have leftover charcoal in them.

    We would stay here again and again! We had the best time everything was clean and they had everything we needed! The dog park was so convenient for our pups and we enjoyed walks down the gorgeous country road. Wimberley town square is a 5 minute drive and the HEB is a minute away! Thanks for everything!

    Adorable little cottage complete with a glittery Christmas tree and wreath on the door! We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire place and took advantage of the private hot tub. We would definitely recommend.
