We absolutely loved this place. The cottages are really thoughtfully stocked and designed - hooks where you need them, a well stocked kitchen, candles in every room. Really recommend a winter stay for the cozy fireplaces and big jacuzzi tubs. The best part was the fresh eggs in the morning!

We had an amazing experience visiting the Yellow Rose cottage. We stayed here for couple of days July 4-5 to celebrate our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. We just loved everything about our stay. There are several fun activities to do nearby. We also enjoyed the deer that came up to the feeder earlier in the morning along with making fresh eggs from the chicken coop. On one night we came back late, all restaurants were closed so we just stopped by the chicken coop to pick up eggs for a breakfast dinner LOL.There was great communication since the get go. We are definitely coming back to stay on a different cottage they have on the property. Thank y’all again for this beautiful experience!

Me and my wife had a great time at Canyon Peaks. Highly recommended. I surprised her for our anniversary and she loved everything about it. The horse ride is a must as it was a great experience for both of us. We got to see a bunch of wild life at night and during the day and the cabin was super clean and comforting. We are already planning another trip with family in the future. Thank you again for the wonderful accommodations.

Oh, it was a delight! Right from the get-go, they were super welcoming and easy to deal with. The cottage felt like it leaped out of a home magazine - cozy, fully equipped, and just perfect. We were there for my fiancé’s birthday, aiming for some peace away from the city noise. And it was exactly the peaceful vibe we were after. The highlight? Definitely trotting down to the chicken coop to fetch fresh eggs for breakfast. Flipping pancakes and cracking eggs felt like a mini adventure all on its own. Canyon Peaks turned out to be more than just a stay; it was a joyous little chapter in our lives. We look forward to the next visit! Oh, you can even to schedule horse back riding on property. Good times!

This is our second stay at the little yellow cottage. We have absolutely loved every time we have come down. Just the peace and quiet and being away from everything is wonderful and if we choose to do anything, this is a great location to visit the wineries, Austin, and New Braunfels all within a short drive. The cabin is great because it has everything we need. A comfortable bed and a nice place to eat. And of course, the best thing is going to pick fresh eggs from the chickens. In fact, I have named each one of them. LOL! Sherry and Gary are wonderful host. They’re very attentive to your needs. And definitely a joy to talk to. The little touches that they have made to make you feel comfortable is great. The Bottle of wine and cheese and crackers for us to enjoy. But also having firewood for us so we could enjoy a nice fire in the fireplace. I can’t say enough kind and appreciative words about their cabins. Other than we will definitely be returning. Thanks for everything Sherry and Gary. Happy New Year to you both.

We stayed in the Gingerbread cottage for 2 nights, which allows for dogs as that’s the only cottage to have concrete floors. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and a bit separate from the other cottages which was a bonus when you have a dog. Dog bowls, a little dog bed, and a couple of dog treats were in the cabin upon our arrival which was such a sweet surprise! Additionally, there was wine, cheese, pancake mix, syrup, and you could get fresh eggs from the chicken coupe. The cottage was charming, and the land was beautiful and well maintained. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay again!

My stay (a month!) as the Cottages at Canyon Peaks was comfortable and very true to their website. My charming cottage was very well equipped, very comfortable bed and as a single traveler, I felt safe and welcomed. The owners , Sherry and Gary are very hospitable and attentive, even adding a chair for my comfort. I loved the trails, the vistas and the great small towns around the cottages. Fresh eggs are at your disposal and is only one of the many offerings that the Cottages offer. A wonderful stay.

2 dogs max in Gingerbread house. Take the pups for a hike on trails across 165-acres with beautiful views of the hills (suggest hiking at sunset). Horseback riding offered by Southern Trails right on the property- schedule a 60-min hill country sunset ride for $125. Take a bubble bath in the spa-jets style tub (shampoo/ body soap provided). Spark a fire in the fireplace or community firepit or enjoy a game of putt putt. Breakfast is provided with pancakes/syrup & chicken coop eggs with coffee & hot tea/ hot chocolate. Kitchen is well-equipped w/ full fridge, oven/stove & microwave. The bustling small town of Wimberley is 12 mins away with plenty of restaurants (recommend The Leaning Pear) & Market Days on the 1st weekend of every month. Take a dip in Canyon Lake about 18 mins drive. Don’t forget your fave lawn chairs, beach mat, dog extension cables, headlamp/flashlight, snacks/lunch, extra blanket when it’s cooler temps. I will definitely be coming back during fall for the fall colors trees & views.

We stayed in the Gingerbread House and loved our stay. We were in town for a wedding at Rancho Mirando, which was a 2 minute drive from the property. The cottages are adorable with a beautiful view and Sherry and Gary were the perfect hosts -- leaving cheese, crackers and wine for our visit. They were also immediately available if needed. Also, the property has two gates and feels very secure. The property is centrally located, with easy access to Wimberley, Fischer and the surrounding areas (and a stones throw from famous dive bar the Devils Backbone.)We didnt get to try the horseback riding they offer or the farm fresh eggs from their coop so well definitely be back!

My wife and I just had he most enjoyable New Years Eve weekend at the Yellow Rose of Texas Cottage. It is a beautiful, small, quaint and cozy cottage set in the Texas Hill Country with a wonderful view of the hills and walking trials. The cottage is nicely decorated with everything you need to shelter in place, if necessary, but near all the essentials and places to go. There is a nice fireplace and fire pit. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating. We look forward to returning. I highly recommend it.

The cottages are amazing. Clean and beautifully decorated. The property is beautiful with fresh eggs from the chickens in the morning. You truly feel like you’ve gotten away from everything while sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck. All the while getting to Canyon Lake in ten minutes. The hosts are kind and responsive. Enjoy the central air in the summer heat or the fireplace in the winter. It’s a great place to spend any amount of time.

Charming place to stay for a weekend getaway in the Hill Country. Vintage decor with all the modern amenities needed for a great experience. We stayed in the green cottage and enjoyed the comfy bed and thick cotton sheets. The cute kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. We even got fresh eggs from the onsite chicken coup! We particularly enjoyed gathering around the fire pit in the evenings.

Five stars all around. We loved our stay here in the Deer run cottage. Everything here is put together amazingly with every detail thought of. The ranch itself is peaceful and a great place to relax. Very conveniently located. One of my favorite vacations, we cant wait to come back for our anniversary. Cant say enough good things about Cottages at Canyon Peaks.

My family and I stayed at the Canyon Peaks for 4th of July weekend, and it was such a great experience! Very cozy, beautiful scenery, the cottage was clean & had everything we needed, and Sherry was very professional and responsive. The location is very convenient to all major destinations and not far from Comal Park/Canyon Lake. We will definitely be back in the future!

These cabins are just what youre looking for, to make your Hill Country get away, perfect! The cabin had a wood burning fireplace, and even a kitchen. The owner has decorated the cabins with such flair, with many touches to make you feel right at home. Such a great location, close to shopping, the lake, or just the perfect spot to relax and read a book!

Great getaway. Owners are awesome and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you go on a motorcycle just watch out for gravel driveway. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen had everything you need. Cant wait to go back.
