    Magical house in Alpine! We loved our stay- the house was picturesque from every angle. The art collection enhanced the space. Everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed the dark skies and spent time on the porch looking at the stars. The bed was extremely comfortable. Views from the property we breathtaking! Hosts were responsive and great communicators. We hope to be back soon!

    I have stayed in many rented houses in the USA and Europe. I must say this one is in the top 10. Beautiful location, nicely decorated home, all essentials were there to use, and impeccably organized. I highly recommend staying here.

    Perfection! This home is exactly as pictured. It was spotless and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Very nicely decorated, high end furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to sit on the patio and watch the sunrise, sunset and star gaze. I would definitely rent this home again if I came back to Alpine.

    Really enjoyed staying overnight here on our way to Big Bend National Park. It was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed looking at the stars. Easy to book with no problems. I would definitely stay here again.

    El Nopal has some amenities for comfort and location. We just spent 3 nights here for an event at the near by university. There were a few issues that need to be addressed. 1)No front porch light makes it difficult to negotiate luggage and the large step up on front porch when arriving and departing in the dark 2) toilet handle needs attention-toilet will run continuously, wasting precious water.3) No shampoo or guest lotion-thought these were standard, but upon request, was told no.4) The sidewalk leading up to the casita was covered by large areas of bird droppings which my husband did not cherish cleaningbefore bringing in luggage.I might consider another stay while in the area.

    We had an amazing stay in this cute home outside of Alpine. The place was super cute and so comfortable to hang out in. I love all the windows and the ability to open them to let the cool night breeze in. The views from the back of the house were amazing! Communication was wonderful with the host. Absolutely no complaints with this place!

    We knew it looked like an amazing place but on arrival every bit was even more beautiful!The drive, land, porches, the decor, the rooms, beds, bathrooms, towels (Im looking for those for my own home),even the laundry room and most of all the stars at night (wow) was beautiful!We wanted for nothing. Im blessed to have found it for my family and we will be back for sure.Thank you for exceeding our expectations. Its so nice when that happens.Love, The Pereidas

    We stayed at the home in Alpine on the mountain and it was amazing. The views are stunning and there is also a trail behind the house for an intense hike leading further up the mountain.

    This was a great stay in an awesome small city with plenty to do outdoors and indoors. April was amazing at helping me get settled in and she is very attentive and receptive. She will ensure you stay is flawless. The house was in great condition and very spacious for a family. It has all the amenities you may need and a very big back yard with a BBQ. The AC works great and keeps you cool during the hot summer months. The landscape is well maintained, and the property looks very appealing and cozy. It has a carport to park your car away from the sun. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and you will enjoy the amazing Arizona sun set. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my stay!

    Beautiful little cottage in the heart of Alpine. Quirky cowboy motives everywhere which we loved. Well appointed. Lovely little private backyard. Great communication with our host. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Alpine.

    I do not know where to begin!! I was booked at this property for one night and ended up staying for three. The accommodations are superb. Everything you could want for cooking. a large bathroom with lots of hot water, comfy couch for watching TV and one of the best beds I have ever slept on. What made this stay so very special for me was the environment. Outside the large picture window you had a view of a beautiful garden full of birds, wildflowers, hummingbirds and mountains (with the blinds up this is what you wake up to). Sitting on the patio with my coffee every morning I would look eastward and watch the sunrise from behind another mountain. I was lucky enough to meet Samuel and Butters the first day and we greeted each other each morning. This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay and visit Big Bend NP and Big Bend Ranch State Park.

    Beautiful place just outside of Alpine! Very nicely decorated. A bird watchers paradise! We were in Alpine to ride our motorcycles around the area. Great stopping/stay point for Marfa, Fort Davis, and Balmorhea. I would highly recommend this place!

    The house was super cute and easy to get to. Very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bath tub was the coolest thing in the house. We enjoyed our stay.

    April the host was amazing. Easy to contact and quick to message back. The home was everything expected and cozy. Great place to stay and central to everything big bend. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. This is a pet friendly house with a back yard. Washer and dryer and enough kitchen utensils for food prep.

    We spent a week at Cowboy House in Alpine. It was clean, comfortable, mostly quiet, and within walking distance of downtown, a good grocery store, and some good take-out places. Would definitely recommend for others planning a stay in Alpine.

    Very nice, cozy and clean. April was awesome!! It was nice to enjoy the rain and cloudiness while we were there! The view was spectacular and we also saw some wild life. Will certainly recommend and will definitely be back!

    Stayed in the Cliffhanger rv for a mother/daughter birthday getaway. April was the best host. Lots of great local info and checked in on us. The property was very cute which made the glamping experience even better. 2 girls (12 & 5) overly enjoyed water and Dr.Pepper out of fancy glasses (wine glasses). The views can NOT be rivaled. The gorgeous sunset over the valley to one side with the beautiful night lights over the small town and Sul Ross State University on the other. It will forever be a small but treasured memory for my girls and I. Thank you to April and the owners for such a great stay.

    Far West Nest a Lovely cozy studio attached to main house with primate entrance. Nicely nested and secluded on several acres away from the hustle and bustle of town. Lots of birds and deer visited the property which could be seen from the large windows in the bed area of the studio. April, the host was very responsive and accommodating. Maggi and Dale the home owners on the property were very gracious and a delight to meet. All the amities of home were provided and we didn’t need to replenish a thing. Everything in the house was as pictured in the description. Highly recommend!

    This little Far West Nest was just perfect for me. Out of the city far enough to feel like the retreat I wanted. Nestled amongst the birds and stars with stunning sunsets and sunrises, it was quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bed, everything I needed in the kitchen too! Perfect for one or two.     We were very happy with this rental (4 adults). The beds were quite comfortable and the house was clean. We did not use the kitchen but it looked like it had all the items you would need during a longer stay. We would definitely stay here again!

    We arrived super late and it was very easy to find and easy to access. I love that it is 2/2, and they are on opposite sides of the home. The flow of the kitchen, dining, and living area, provided open space for a group to stay connected while being in different parts of the home. Very clean and gorgeous views, close to downtown Alpine and easy to get to the grocery store. Straight shot up 118 to visit Big Bend. Loved the stay, host was excellent and very easy to communicate with. Will stay here again and again.

    This was a great place to stay for our trip to Big Bend. Bed was very comfortable. Had fridge, microwave, stove and oven, kitchen sink. So nice to fix our breakfast before we left for the day. Right in downtown. Nice to walk around town in the afternoon. April was a great host.

    Studio 410 was a wonderful place to stay while I was in Alpine! Its a cute little studio, very clean, with a private entrance. It is close to shopping and art galleries in a walkable neighborhood.

    We had a fantastic stay at Casa del Sol. Great location, cute house that was well stocked and comfortable. I did momentarily forget that laundry was accessed from outside of house, but spouse saw door first night there. We did set off smoke alarm using toaster on loud west setting but quickly remedied with ceiling fan and opening screen door.Overall, great stay in location convenient to Fort, restaurants, shopping and hiking destinations.

    Really great space for us and the dogs! We enjoyed watching the stars/ perfect centralized location for everything we had planned from BBNP to fort Davis and marfa.Everything was perfect and the house and yard were terrific! The misters on the porch made our evenings nice and cool! Thank you.

    We really enjoyed the home we rented. Great location with wondweful views! The home was like stepping back in time but everything was immaculate. Very spacious and comfortable.     Bienvenido Big Bend was a fantastic stay. My wife and I enjoyed the wonderful comforts of a stove and huge refridgerator just like home. Shower was also great! Plus within walking distance was a great grocery store, wonderful dining establishments and great wine bars and clubs! This was a home away from home. We will definitely make this a must stay when we visit Alpine again!!

    We stayed down in alpine for our family vacation. It was where we grew up and wanted to show the rest of our family. Anyway the place was super cute and very clean!     This home was very beautiful, welcoming, homey and clean. The mountain view from the backyard was amazing and you could see this view in the bedroom, kitchen, and dinning areas. I couldnt ask for a better vacation spot. April was so great and took care of everything I needed. I Am definitely coming back and would recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful vacation spot to check this amazing house out.

    A fantastic home for Big Bend adventures. The house is so comfortable, very well appointed, with two great, comfy beds. The split cooling system worked great, even with the record heat in Alpine during the last part of this Texas, record-heat-laden July 2022.But by far, the most amazing experience with the house is the incredible view of Alpine from outside as it sits near the top of one of the highest hills in the town. The night stars were magical, a panoply of twinkling light and there was a great view of Alpine during the day. Highly recommend this home!

    My husband and enjoyed a 5 day 4 night stay at El Viejo Adobe in Alpine this month to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. The home was beautiful and very relaxing with a great location. Dealing with April was wonderful! She was very responsive to every question from the minute I booked until the day we left. We will definitely be back!

    We stayed at Casa de Arroz for 10 days and had a wonderful time. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Kitchen is well stocked and we did a lot of cooking! There was a big backyard and front yard that were fenced for privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

    The Cowboy House was the perfect little house for my dogs and Is trip to Alpine. Fast and reliable communication from the property manager, great location, adorably decorated home with everything you could need within! I will be staying here any time I come to west TX in the future.

    This was our second stay at Oh Hi House. We really utilized the outdoor space on this visit, eating most of our meals outside and playing many rounds of washers. As usual, we enjoyed the house being centrally located to all activities in The Big Bend Area. April is an awesome hostess, always quick to respond and accommodating.

    What a wonderful experience we had staying at House of Trails!! It was everything the listing said it would be and April, our, host made sure we had all the information we would need. I called her once and she picked up immediately to answer my question. I texted a couple of questions and received prompt replies. It made our stay so much nicer to have that connection. We would not hesitate to stay at a property she manages
