Our 2nd consecutive year here at B.E.N.T River retreat and we love it! Upgrades were added, like washer & dryer (best upgrade ever!) and direct TV in the living area. The size is perfect for our family and the private river access is unbeatable. We hope to return next summer to one of the larger homes in the back.

Not a bad place. Nice, pretty and quiet place to hang out with family and friends. We saw the management once when we checked in and got wristbands. We also had close to 30 people in our group, but rented all 4 houses and didnt have a problem at all. The river is a short walk from the main 2 houses and a little further for the other houses. The river was SUPER low when we went, but the little cove was perfect for hanging out and having a good time. Be sure to check the river flow before you head up here though. Some friends did a trip down the river but it took 6+ hours just to get through half of the trip and cut it short b/c they walked so much because the water was so low. AT&T is the only service you will get. No TV in cabin 4, so bring plenty of family games. Beds were not as comfy as youd like after a long day on the river, but its ok.

When I read some of the comments I couldnt figure out what was wrong ! We have been going to Bent River Retreat for 7 years . They do have a new manger. The manger explained that they tell you when you rent the max number of people and everyone that rents cabins knows every place has max number . So I for sure wouldnt be happy if the cabin beside me has 70 plus people partying and going to the river by the place I rented . I have stayed at the frio for 45 years every summer and have never had the police called on any of my family or friends so if you Have the police called on your group that should be a reality check. The frio is such a beautiful place and a place I dearly love please be respectful and clean up any trash in the river you may see because I want it stay this way !

My family has been staying here for years. It is a great family oriented place to vacation. Well run very friendly owners and managers. I highly recommend B.E.N.T River Retreat.

Great place. Bbq pit small Id bring your own. Sucks we couldnt bring people over during Sping break because we would get thrown out
