Great location and very comfortable apartment. We stayed at The Retro for a month and were impressed with the professionalism and service of Zilker Properties. We had a small issue with the kitchen faucet, but even tho it was a weekend, Peach got it fixed right away. The apartment was very close to Zilker park, small groceries, restaurants and even a movie theater. All were within an easy walking distance. Downtown Austin is a short drive. The apartment had everything we could want for a long stay, including a full kitchen, pots and pans and even a selection of spices. The Retro was a comfortable size for two adults. Having a free laundry room on the site was especially appreciated. Everything looked great and was very clean and well maintained. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Absolutely a hidden Austin gem for a short-term to longer term, fully-furnished residence stay in the beautiful Zilker Park/ Barton Springs Pool area. The owners, Cynthia & Peach are excellent hosts, highly responsive to any & all resident requests and intuitive on pre-providing supplies based on your type of stay. The Heart House provided a peaceful, quiet and excellent work environment for a 6 month stay while relocation to Austin was in-progress. Everything required from high-speed internet to home appliances, washer/ dryer, BBQ grills and vacation-type supplies was all ready, supplied and waiting for guests. Scenic walking areas, safe neighborhood, clean & hygienic suites, excellent value and the best home-away-from-home experience in the central part of Austin. What a wonderful way to experience Austin & conveniently located starting point to TX Hill Country exploration. Superior to a hotel in every way. Many thanks to the Reynolds Family for an excellent welcome to ATX.

I had an amazing time in Austin!! This house is so cute and super clean!!! I love the location and regretted having to leave! Cynthia made sure we had everything we needed and even gave me great tips specific for my vacation!!! Loved the complete coffee bar area, so thoughtful. My dog loved sitting on the porch being nosey!!!

The Heart House is a sweet little nook in the best neighborhood in Austin if you want to visit the Springs and explore Zilker and Barton Creek greenbelt. Clean, spacious and very comfortable, plus a nice deck with a great view. It’s also convenient to downtown or UT.

My husband and I stayed at The Sweet for one week in November 2023. We enjoyed the location, just a few blocks from Zilker Park. We walked to the center of Austin through the park and over the pedestrian bridge, a 30 minute walk. The apartment, very comfortable, has everything you need for cooking yourself a meal and also all the little extras you wouldn’t expect. The hosts are super available; they respond quickly and resolve your worries immediately. We enjoyed very much our stay and would definitely go back. Thanks Cynthia and Jay

Location is perfect for ACL! Second year renting from Zilker Properties. No complaints whatsoever. Comfy beds, nice linens and the kitchen has everything you need! Owners very responsive to questions and requests! Definitely recommend!

Very cozy and clean unit. Extremely well stocked with everything we needed. Helpful information for visiting local sites, restaurants, parks, etc. Also helpful instructions about the unit. The location is extraordinary. Walk to Zilker Park and Barton Springs pool. Easy access to everything Austin offers. The owner is extremely responsive, helpful and pleasant. Free, clean and convenient laundry. Clean and close grill. And the unit is dog friendly. Really excellent. I will be back. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at The Tree House. It was great. We have stayed at other nearby properties (The Park Place & Heart House) by Zilker Vacation before. They are all super nice. Everything provided from wine opener to fine coffee beans and tea. From umbrella, torch light to shopping bags!!Attention to such details is rare. Feels truly like a home away from home. The surrounding neighborhood is simply true Austin and beautiful. I love the balcony in Tree House watching the Christmas tree in the park and the sunrise and sun sets.I have friends in Austin, but this is my place to be in Austin. No more search for hotel rooms. Cynthia, Peach, and Jay are so helpful and prompt in communication. We will be back here soon and refer it to friends and family for sure.

The Mod Pod in Austin is a clean, fun place to stay in a wonderful location, close to many of our favorite places!! We LOVED the vintage touches and the fireplace was an amazing centerpiece! The patio, balcony, and added to this being a great choice!

Highly recommend! My husband I stayed at ATX 1/ 2024 and it was great! Very nice, cozy, and clean. It was conveniently located close to parks, restaurants etc. I was amazed at how it was incredibly stocked with everything we would need. We will definitely stay here again!

We were looking for a property that had all the comforts of home and Park Place fit that need. The beds are comfortable and the shower is great. The kitchen has everything we needed, and the living room has plenty of sitting room. The neighborhood is quiet. Park Place is close to everything-a great park, downtown, capital, university, and restaurants.

Our three month stay at “the sweet” was outstanding. This charming one bedroom had everything we needed for our winter home away from home. We prepared nearly all our meals in the well appointed kitchen and there was plenty of room to entertain additional family. The owners, Cynthia and Peach, quickly and professionally respond to all requests which we greatly appreciate. Location is tops as well and we often walked the 10 minutes down road to Barton springs pool and zilker park at any hour of the day or evening. This was our 2nd rental stay at Zilker Properties and hope to stay here or other Zilker Properties locations on subsequent visits. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Kaleido house for a week while visiting our son in Austin. The location was perfect for biking to the Butler trail! The house had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Cynthia was super helpful! Thanks for a great stay in Barton hills!!

These folks have the best properties I have ever rented, in Austin, or for that matter anywhere. I’ve now stayed at 4 of their places over the last few years, and all have been excellent. A lot of places look cute in pics and the location seems good, and Zilker Vacations certainly offers that. My experience is that it’s hard to find places with good, comfortable furniture, well appointed kitchen and bath amenities, full cable service, and all the other things Jay and Peach provide. I’ve never had a problem, but they are easily accessible should something come up. As a frequent traveler to Austin, we wouldn’t consider anything else. They are simply awesome. Best value out there if you’re looking for a nice, comfortable place at a reasonable price. Ron J.

We stayed at The Heart House for 10 days during September, 2019. Great apartment close to plenty of Bars, Restaurants and Activities. We traveled from Scotland to come and enjoy the delights of Austin and this property was in a great location for access to everything we wanted to do. Also easy access to City Centre. This is a great place to stay convenient to downtown and Barton Springs Rd restaurants. The condo was the perfect size for my husband, small dog and I. We spent lots of time on the balcony in the afternoons looking at the city and the nighttime views are amazing. Its hard to find a VRBO with a king size bed and this one was very comfortable. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. We will stay here again on our next visit to Austin.

My wife and I along with our small dog stayed in the Heart House for 30 days in February/January 2019. Cynthia and Peach are great host. They are only a phone call away and tend to any need you have very quickly. The condo itself is great. The bed is extremely comfortable. The kitchen is stocked well, although we only used it one time, as we took advantage of tons of great Austin restaurants within a short drive. Zilker Park is only a two minute drive and we used the trails regularly. My wife found a Jazzercise Center in Zilker Park that she attended 40 classes in 30 days. So much in Austin to do, and this condo is in a prime location for them all. Mall is very close and HEB is also. I highly recommend using Zilker Vacations.

I stayed in the ATX house for a month. Overall my stay was fabulous. The location is unbeatable. It’s within walking distance to Barton Springs, Lady Bird lake and the running trail, and near downtown Austin. The neighborhood is established, beautiful, safe and quiet. The apartment feels like a tree house because there are beautiful trees out every window.The apartment is clean, stocked with basics (including dog poop bags!) and the hosts generously provide free laundry and supplies onsite. The balcony is fantastic. WiFi was solid. Bed and towels were comfortable. Host was very responsive with any concern I had.My only cons are more like FYIs to you.1. The apartment complex is older so you will hear your neighbors above if you stay in this apartment. I knew this going in to my stay so I brought ear plugs. I think the company rents out most of the complex so if you are able, get a top level apartment.2. The shower head must’ve been built for much shorter people. I’m 5”5 and I had to get creative to wash my head.

This is our second stay at Zilkervacations -- month of February, 2017. This time we stayed at Park Place. We highly recommend any of their vacation suites. Each one is fully equipped with many of the items to make your stay extremely comfortable. Included are small but delightful things such as shampoo, body wash, body lotion, coffee and teas.The kitchen has all the necessary pots and pans for creating your favorite dishes. The living rooms are decorated and most important have cozy furniture -- great for reading or watching TV.The location, close to downtown Austin and Town Lake, is ideal for walking and biking. Zilkervacations provides a perfect home-away-from home.

Ive stayed in multiple lodgings managed by Zilker Properties and they are, quite frankly, the best. Everything is in excellent shape and their communication before, during and after your stay is wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the Studio this trip... nicely furnished, great shower, fabulous location. Go direct to this company and youll avoid paying fees to airbnb or homeaway.

My boyfriend, dog and I stayed in the “Treehouse” for almost 2 months. The location is unbeatable - I walked down to zilker and barton springs almost every day! Cynthia and Peach went out of their way to make the stay go smoothly and were highly responsive. Many thoughtful touches were included such as pool noodles for the springs, fixings for coffee, and even a special “dog towel” to wipe your pup’s paws. We loved the private and quiet balcony. The unit itself was a bit old but everything was charming and in working condition. Highly recommend!

Update: We had another great stay with Zilker Vacations, this time at Park Place. Its a great place, spacious and quiet - close to Zilker Park (perfect for long dog walks) and lots of great food/shopping/entertainment in the South Congress area. Park Place had all the essentials and a great kitchen. Strong wifi and Rokus for both TVs made the stay even better. The washer/dryer also came in handy.We had a really great stay at ATX House. It felt like home, didnt need anything but personal clothes and food - everything else was there. Really quiet spot in a nice neighborhood with a quick walk to Zilker Park and great restaurants. The balcony was an added bonus. Will plan to stay here again on my next trip to Austin.

We stayed in the heart house. It was cute, spacious, clean and included everything we could possibly think of. Jay, Cynthia, and Peach were extrememly thoughtful checking in with us throughout the weekend and leaving a whole book of things to do, places to eat, how to get around Austin, etc. They went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our weekend. Would definitely stay there again!

The Sweet was my shelter from the Covid storm for two months. Cynthia considers every little detail in furnishings and accoutrements plus there is a fantastic laundry facility on the premises. I found the unit spotlessly clean. The property is situated in one of the primo areas of Austin, central to just about everything good Austin has to offer. The unit is small (and cozy) but perfectly adequate for one or two persons. Everything you need to make yourself at home is provided. My only complaint is if there is a tenant staying at the unit above The Sweet, you will be disturbed by walking, etc. above you. Highly recommend.

Treehouse was a great location for visiting Austin. Walking distance to Zilker Park, restaurants, coffee shops and downtown. Comfortable condo with everything youd need. Loved the covered balcony which expands the living space substantially. This was my third rental from the Reynolds and I was very pleased with it.

Stayed in Kaleido House.We (4 adults) were so pleased with the care and responsiveness from Jay, Cynthia, and Peach before and during our stay. The house interior is charming and filled with color and is a little larger than it appears in the photos. We loved being so close to Zilker Park and downtown and were able to walk to many restaurants.

We stayed at Cliffside during the United States Grand Prix. The house was everything we needed. Very nice. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and ready for our use. Close to the shuttle bus we rode to COTA everyday. We are already rebooking it for next years F1 Race.

Just returned from our most recent stay at Park Place in Austin. We were lucky enough to get settled in early as our flight was bumped to an earlier arrival time. This was our 4th stay thru Zilker Vacations and I can only offer positive comments all around. Its so nice to walk in and feel at home. The extras really do make a difference--fresh coffee beans to grind with sugar/creamers ready to go; lots of fresh bath towels and beach towels if needed; full stocked kitchen with anything you could possibly need; king-sized comfy bed and a washer & dryer are important features for us too. The location is on a quiet tree-lined street with quick access to restaurants near Zilker Park and SoCo. Barton Springs is nearby too. Weve probably stayed at this property a dozen times. Its only a couple of blocks from our son and his family, so its the perfect location for us. This is such a comfortable place to stay! In nice weather, the balcony is such a perfect place to have a leisurely breakfast!
