This is a very cute condo, with views that can’t be beat. It was clean and my kids loved the bunkbed with the TV! Very quick/easy beach access. It was a little small/crowded for a family of five. Enough beds, but with our luggage, etc., a little small. All in all, it was a great place to stay though and we enjoyed it!!

Stay Above the Rest on R Avenue:This place really knows how to impress—beautiful brass hardware, lovely walkways, decent parking right outside, and it’s super close to the beach. The extra beds are a nice bonus, and the patio is just perfect. Honestly, if that was all there was to it, I’d give this place 5 stars without a second thought.But here’s where things get a little tricky. Privacy seems to be a bit of an afterthought. There’s a huge picture window in the bathroom that gives the neighbors a front-row seat to your morning routine. If you forget to grab a towel before you jump in the shower, well, things could get awkward fast. Plus, it’s not just the bathroom—the kitchen and living room don’t have any window coverings either, so it feels a bit like you’re on display.And about that covered parking they mention? It’s there, but it’s not actually available for guests, which is a bit frustrating. Lastly, we did spot a couple of roaches scurrying across the kitchen. A little boric acid would do the trick and keep those pests away.

Oh Wow!!! I was so impressed as soon as I booked my trip. The communication started as soon as I booked and they were able to accommodate a few requests at the last minute for me. The best part was the clean desirable room. They had everything that one would need Im talking from filter water to board games. The way they maximize the space is ingenious, the fridge and freezers are attached to the cabinets and it will definitely remind you with various tones if you dont shut it completely. We celebrated my girl birthday and she was ready to rebook as soon as we stepped in They even have bunkbed and a t.v. believe it or not my girl spent time in the bunkbed relaxing watching Netflix. The view and location was PERFECT. The management even followed up during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Will be booking again through them.

Me and my grandson had so much fun, we played on the beach, we spent time at moody gardens, we ate at quidos ( i think thats how you spell it) it was the best dining experience we had. The room 204 was absolutely perfect , clean and beautiful, it had a great view, perfect spot close to everything. the staff were amazing. I cant tell you how much fun we had. I would recommend this place over and over again!!!!

It was a great vacation spot on the beach!! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including lots of bathroom towels/beach towels. The decor was beautifully updated with a beach vibe. The access to the beach was great and the view from the patio couldn’t have been better.

This place is amazing. The unit was clean and the ocean views were beautiful. The staff also went more than above and beyond for me during my stay here. Special shout outs for Shanna and Savannah. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to stay in Galveston!

The entire family was pleased with his condominium. It was clean and served the 6 of us quite well. The condo was well appointed provided a welcome relaxation from city life.The children loved the swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. the adults enjoyed the balcony views of the lake, sipping coffee in the morning and wine in the evening as the sun set. The condo was roomy, and we had a great time and look forward to returning this fall.

This place was just as pictured. The condo grounds are really great. There was nobody there in the middle of the week so the pools were fairly empty. The condo balcony has an awesome lake view. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the floors that had not been cleaned in a long time - my feet turned black instantly and we never wore our shoes inside. The floors need to be mopped in between guests but like most airbnbs this level of cleaning is not happening. It is typical hotel clean - countertops and bathrooms looked good and lines appeared to be washed. I expected more from A Stay Above the Rest and when I complained about the floors they did offer to send someone in to mop. We were not staying long enough to have our time interrupted, but at least they were willing to fix it. I think when you are paying a high rate and a specified cleaning fee you really do need to ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned - of course someone wants to walk bare foot out of the shower without their feet being filthy.

A beautiful place, the home is nicely laid out, very comfortable, they have everything you need, and is conveniently located. Only negatives were water pressure in the showers needed a boost and some mold on the primary bedroom shower and secondary bathroom grout. Certainly hard to manage with warm wet summers. We’ll definitely return when we come back to Galveston.

We recently spent six nights at Serenity on the San Gabriel and really loved the house, property and location. The house was well furnished with everything we needed and the outside deck was a great place for relaxing under the oaks, overlooking the river, and watching the plentiful deer wander by in the mornings and evenings. The location was perfect for us to visit relatives in the area and to have families drop by. Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was our first time in Galveston, so we wanted to stay close to town, and close to the beach. The view was amazing. The apartment was small, but extremely efficient and nicely appointed. A small issue with insects was addressed very quickly and efficiently. I would give 4.5 stars, but that wasn’t an option.Would we return? Yes.

I definitely recommend this house! It was so peaceful and nice to get away in this little farmhouse. If we needed anything or had any questions, someone was available via text right away. It was stocked with all important items you may need as well. My kids and dog had such a great time! We can’t wait to come back again for a visit when family comes to town.

The Blue Pelican was a beautiful home that had everything we could possibly need. The interior was tastefully decorated and it had a really great kitchen. There was bikes to use and wonderful back porch. It made for a memorable stay. We were also able to bring our small dog.

Great condo on Galveston Beach. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It had easy access to the beach across the street and the balcony views were amazing! Their communication was amazing. I would definitely return.

Great customer service! I stayed at CDM 204 - Turtle-y Awesome. Originally, I was booked to stay at CDM 154 - Nautical Escape. Three hours into my drive to Galveston, I received a call saying that the air conditioning unit in CDM 154 has broken, and that I will have to stay elsewhere. Shanna was very helpful and booked me into another condo with beach view, which is what I wanted when I booked Nautical Escape. When one of the TVs on the bunk beds was not working, customer service responded promptly and resolved the issue. The condo itself was well stocked with everything we needed for a beach vacation. I would stay with them again!

This place was absolutely stunning! Big a spacious for our group. We had a girls bachelorette and the owners were so responsive and helpful with every question or concern we had. Will definitely be booking again for any big gatherings we have in Cedar Park!

Stayed at Blue Pelican to visit elderly mother. House was perfect for her to visit. Nice private workspace in bedrooms. Kitchen was fabulous! Everything you could imagine you needed and more to prepare that perfect meal! Will definitely stay again!

This home was well cared for and you could tell the minute you walked in that the owners care for the home and guests that stay here. It is the little details that make a difference and this house was filled with many small details that didnt go unnoticed. We will definitely look to stay here again if our travels take us back to Austin.

Such a fun cabin to stay in Ruidoso. All the little details were perfect. We loved the hot tub! The neighbors were friendly and we saw plenty of elk. The cabin was very clean. Highly recommend.

A Stay Above The Rest team goes above and beyond the traditional VRBO type vacation condos. They provide great kitchen accessories such as a high end Keurig coffee maker, kitchen aide mixers extra for the kitchen along with every type dish or glasses you would need. The bathrooms are equipped with very nice soap, shampoo dispenser with great products and soft thick towels. The only thing we needed was our clothes and food. Excellent distress...quarantine location with excellent views Of the gulf. Would definitely stay at any of their locations.

This beautiful place (The Blue Pelican has a vibe of chill and relaxation which was perfect! It is such a spacious and well designed cottage. Every amenity was first class and quality. We especially loved the enclosed back porch as it made for the perfect spot at the end of a busy, fun filled day. We will be back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to escape to Galveston Island!
