Chris made the process of selling my Richland Hills home as seamless, effortless, painless, and stress free as humanly possible. I reached out to him originally in February 2024. I wasnt fully ready to sell, but I knew I wanted to do the deal with him, as he was the most honest and flexible and buyer I talked to, and I talked to several. I followed up with him 7 months later, and we started getting the deal together. No lies, no pushiness, no twisting the truth, no flaking on promises, no changing dates, no moving the goal posts. We could not have asked for nicer people to deal with on the sale of our mothers home after we inherited it. The home was in poor condition with a lot of old furniture and stuff we dreaded removing. Chris listened and made a fair offer based on our time schedule and needs. We did get another offer for comparison. The amount was very close confirming that The Texas Best Home Buyers offer was a fair market price for our As Is house. We much preferred the terms offered by Texas Best because Chris listened to our needs and wrote the contract to address them...without any haggling. He even quickly gave us an excellent referral for help with a water leak prior to closing. I prefer an open and honest business deal by both parties and that is what we experienced. This was by far the best experience I could have possibly asked for. My mother unexpectedly passed away and left us with a home in Fort Worth that we had no idea what to do with. Very satisfied with Chris, we had various investors come out and give us offers. We went with an investor who promised us a lot and ultimately left us hanging, they weren’t able to fulfill their final offer. All the offers we ended up with were significantly low and then miraculously Chris and his son came by after we thought we were going to have to put the house on the market (which we did not want to do). They not only offered what we wanted they came a bit higher on the offer and there was absolutely no strings attached! We are grateful for Chris and his son (thankfully his son convinced me to let them come and see our house because I was done with investors). We sold our house in Hurst and can now start a new chapter in a new house we’re having built all thanks to them!

So incredibly grateful for Texas Best Home Buyers!After months of searching for a home and 9 rejected offers we felt defeated. We were ready to throw in the towel when we came across a property brimming with potential. We reached out to the Seller/Co-owner of TBHB, Christopher Johnston. We explained that we were between real estate agents and he generously offered to give us a tour of the property the following day.As we expected, the home needed a bit of TLC, but what we were not expecting was to come across a person like Chris. Throughout the tour Chris was completely transparent about the condition of the home and discussed the work it would require in detail as we went from room to room. By the end of the tour we knew Chris was genuinely kind and knew he was a person we could trust. We were ready to make and offer, but we were just as ready for our offer to be rejected yet again.
