My husband and I bought our home with the support of Kevin about one year ago, after we were facing an extremely short timeline to leave our rental and get into a new home over the holidays. Kevin was extremely responsive, flexible, and went above and beyond finding us the perfect home to match both our price point with all of the features we wanted And to match our desired move-in date. We have continued to keep in contact with Kevin throughout the year and he continues to be a resource for us with any questions that we may have regarding our home. Before the winter weather came along this year, I texted Kevin for support with our irrigation system, as I was unsure how to handle it, and he took time out of his day to come back to our home and help me winterize our system and educate me about the process. I first became aware of Realtor Kevin Shoun when I received several very professional full page, full color mailers for his listings in my neighborhood. Kevin sends out these mailers when he has a listing to promote interest and awareness. I received a recommendation from a couple of people in my neighborhood who had worked with Kevin so I decided to give him a try. Kevin works with a great photographer so my listing pictures were high quality. The real estate market in my neighborhood was very difficult due to competition (lots of homes in the area for sale) and incentives the builders in the neighborhood were providing on their new builds, but with Kevin’s help and guidance my house sold. He uses digital marketing and social media well to showcase his listings, and he was very creative when scheduling my open house, having it coincide with a coat drive for the Salvation Army which took place in my driveway! Honestly, I was skeptical buying and selling during the current economy. I had also never sold a house before. So, I figured I’d find a realtor, it would be a few emails with virtual tours, minimal interaction…someone just trying to seal the deal. Boy was I wrong. Kevin went above and beyond from our very, very first interaction. He walked me through step by step how we were going to work together to sell my house at a reasonable rate, and ensure I found a home in my next.Selling: He scheduled an amazing photographer, walked my house with me giving me “tips and tricks”, fought for my best interest, and got me an amazing deal in literally 48-72hrs.Buying: This process took months-and that’s not on Kevin. I was freshly divorced, still Active Duty, and trying to start over alone. This man went on over 48 house-tours with me. Not once did he complain, or send me alone. He showed up smiling and we talked smack and laughed the entire time. Every. Single. Time! He spend hours upon hours researching homes within my price range and that had as many of my ‘wish-list’ items as possible.
