We couldn’t believe how great our own home looked, we wanted to buy it.John then worked with us to show our house on our terms so it wouldn’t interfere with our work schedules. With the strategically timed listing and open houses, we didn’t even need to show the house more than a few times. I had a tricky house to sell. As John liked to call it, my house was “buyer specific” This was my first time selling a house so I had no idea what I was doing. I am also admittedly a difficult person. And, it didn’t help that although I was selling, I had a deep emotional attachment to my previous house. John was patient with me and always professional even when I was not. Now, over a month later, I have finally settled into my new home. I’m content here. I look back at all the chaos and angst I felt during the sale of my previous home and I am so grateful for John’s expertise and above all patience. John is a young man and I had my doubts in the beginning about his experience. However, he is hungry and clearly an unstoppable force. He managed to get it sold during the worst months for real-estate (Jan/Feb) and interest rates were at an all-time high. He got a good deal for my house that I wasn’t entirely expecting and he was firmly in my corner during negotiations.

Moving from California to Texas was very stressful. John went above and beyond to help minimize that by spending countless hours on the phone with us, answering questions and showing us homes via FaceTime. We flew into town on short notice, John made himself available to us, taking us all over the Dallas and Rockwall area showing us homes. Not once did he lose his patience with us (we are very nit-picky). He went out of his way to get to really know our personalities, likes and dislikes in order to find the perfect location for us. I’m a first time home buyer and John helped on every step of the way. First, he helped put me in touch with a great lender that was just as courteous and extra in the help department as he was. He was always available to answer questions or talk about the next steps whether it was a phone call or to meet face to face. The process of home buying is very extensive but so was his knowledge which came in handy more times than one. He even gifted my first house warming gift of a doorbell security system for the house. I got a great price on the house, saving $70,000 below the asking price of the seller and many other additional what I would call bonuses during the process like the seller paying for my home warranty and completing any and all initial repairs I had requested. I feel very blessed I had a realtor like John to help me through my first home purchase.
