PreFix is much better than a home warranty program. They visit your home twice per year, perform preventive maintenance, and identify potential trouble areas. It is easy to put in a work order to fix anything. They can fix things much quicker and for less money, as they have all of your appliance make/model information handy, as well as past history and pictures. I never have to search for contractors to fix things, its a one stop shop.

Have been a member for 2 1/2 years now and service has been great. I started as a test in San Antonio by USAA to see if they measured up to promises. Our home manager has installed a number of items for us as tv over fireplace and fan on porch. Their other services as carpenter and irrigation service has been great too. Our twice a year home maintenance review keep things running right and forwarns of potential proplems. This manager is very thorough and great at his job.

This week, our HVAC blower motor went out at the most inappropriate time, Wednesday evening about 4:30 PM. I am always impressed with the service PreFix gives to me and my family. From the moment I contacted them their team was professional and attentive to my needs. They went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied. The service tech arrived on time 9 o’clock the next morning and quickly addressed the issue with the HVAC system. He explained the process clearly and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend PreFix to everyone. They help in so many different ways. Whether it’s water filters, air conditioning filters, servicing our AC unit- furnace or even our smoke detectors. I am beyond lucky to have them!

We have been using PreFix since last November and are very happy with their service. The technicians are very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. We have had 2 of the semiannual home visits and we just also had them repair a clogged drain in our bathroom. Great price and service!

Recently Jason came out and took on a couple tasks we requested. He was efficient and respectful of our time. He fixed a faucet we didn’t have access to and fixed some lights we weren’t comfortable working with. Jason completed the repairs and did not “find” any random issues to be added on. Prefix is a great tool in our homeowners toolbox!

I have really enjoyed having PreFix on the job. The preventive work they do, keeps me out of trouble with smoke detectors, fridge filters, etc. and having a number to call when something breaks is super. I have the service on my home, and my rental properties. A great investment.

These guys are awesome. They do a very thorough job and sincerely care about your home. Ive only had them for a short few months but in that time they have visited 3 times already to do preventative maintenance, assist with a clogged drain, and fixed numerous amounts of small things around the house. Very clean with their work, explains and answers all your questions, and fast. Highly recommended to utilize them.

I tried PreFix through a pilot program thru USAA. The first visit impressed me so much that I signed up for regular service. For a small monthly fee I receive washer and dryer cleaning (including the dryer vent), dishwasher and disposal disinfected, drains cleaned, HVAC filter changed and condensation drain blow out and smoke alarms tested and batteries replaced. Once a year the refrigerator is pulled out and the coils vacuumed and the hot water heater flushed. As a single person over 65 I have peace of mind knowing crucial home maintenance is done regularly and correctly. Highly recommend!

The entire experience was great with Prefix. From the initial no pressure quote to the installation, everything went smoothly with my HVAC installation. After shopping around with at least 8 HVAC companies, Prefix had the best selection at the most reasonable price. I was dealing with a washer issue for the longest time. I googled the error code and just continued to deal with the problem since it was something I had no idea how to fix. I am trying out PreFix and my solution was almost immediate! My washer is working great and the cost to fix it was beyond reasonable!

We just had a visit from appliance repairman, Jason Miller. I must admit, I was blown away by this young man. He did an amazing job troubleshooting an oven that had already been diagnosed by another technician from another company who failed to find the issue but still charged us $75. Jason found the issue! He found the short causing the breaker to trip...fixed it, and gave us back our oven. We are so pleased with him and the Prefix team! We look forward to using Prefix and Jason in the future! (and BTW... A PreFix repair appt is only $40!)

Randy was very meticulous and ensured quality workmanship. He went the extra mile for us to make the job as un-intrusive as possible. The job took longer than expected due to the fact that Pre-Fix didnt send him the extra hand he requested so Randy was flying solo during the entire project. Randy was there when a hose bib pipe burst and he sprung into action by quickly turning off the water main. That action significantly reduced the damage and likely saved us thousands of dollars. as stated before, my only compliant would be that Pre-Fix should have sent two workers since the project was pretty big and complex. That being said, if the project had not gone into extra days, Randy wouldnt have been there to turn off the water. I guess God really does work in mysterious ways!

I provided a list of items to repair that ranged from plumbing to electrical. Jason showed up and went down the list knocking each item out one by one. He was very prompt and polite. Jason took the time to explain things to me that he found important to discuss. Prefix gives me so much peace of mind knowing I have someone to call when an unfortunate home repair comes up. W am no longer scrambling to find someone to come out and make house calls for different repairs. This is a one stop shop and I am so glad I am able to use a service as such. I am looking forward to my semi-annual home inspection to help with preventative repairs.
