They always got back to us right away with any questions we had. We closed on time and were able to get the house. I love that they are the people who will be servicing the loan as well. I dont think you could do better than Tracy with a home loan.

The mortgage sales manager from Gateway Mortgage Tracy Mock, is the one of the greatest persons I have ever encountered. And Im not just saying that to give a good review because I dont usually give reviews, whether I got great service or bad service. When my wife and I first spoke with her it seems as if we had already met, she was so nice and respectful to us and from how I see her, shes probably like that to everyone it doesnt matter who you are. We talked about our families, life experiences and so much more. Tracy has been helping us with our first home purchase since we have been searching, she has been patient and has given us all the information that we needed to know as new home buyers. She went above and beyond, guiding us and telling us what to do and what not to do. Theres was a time when I got so overwhelmed with the process of obtaining a mortgage loan that I told my wife we needed to wait. We took some time off and went back and sat with Tracy again and she welcomed us with open arms. We talked with her for a couple of hours and made us feel like we could do this, she ran numbers for us over and over again, she literally held our hand in the entire process. Tracy did a wonderful job from start to finish. She was even able to help me through some extremely extenuating special circumstances right before my new home was finished. She adjusted on the fly and still got me approved.Tracy also made sure to overestimate my taxes on the new build so that I wouldn’t be surprised when my new assessment came through. It worked! Meanwhile, all my neighbors are freaking out because there mortgages jumped up hundreds of dollars due to escrow shortages the first year.I’m so grateful!

The beginning of the process was a bit intimidating, the unknown and not knowing what to expect. I had shared my past experience with lenders I was referred to through other realtors and she assured me she would work on my application, three days later I had a Pre Approval letter to go start looking.Unfortunately, I had stopped due to the crazy market. Five months later, I reapplied, had another preapproval letter within 2-3 days and stated looking. Made an offer on 10/15/2021 and closed on 11/22/2021.
