It was a journey especially for a first-time home buyer like me, but Tracy Matthews made it a pleasant experience. I am now a new home owner. I tried before and did not qualify until I was referred to Tracy Matthews. The approach was totally different. Compared to others, all I had to turn in were just 6 weeks of paystubs, income tax, proof of citizenship and a few other stuff that may not apply to you. Thats all. Man, this guy is bullish on the technicality of this thing. I call him the magician of mortgage lending. -

How can I begin to describe Mr. Mathews, except to say he in an EXCEPTIONAL loan office. Home buying process can be very stressful especially the funding part. I was at that point that I had been disappointed by the builder after waiting for a long time to close. Mr. Mathews stepped in quickly took me through the approval process seamlessly and to underwriting. I couldnt believe how quickly we got to closing. Today I closed on my dream home, simply becasue Mr. Mathews stayed on top of things and quickly resolved issues as they came. IF YOU WANT TO BUY A HOME, THIS IS YOUR LOAN OFFICER. He is efficient, professional, organized and above all puts his clients first!!! Nothing can beat that!! -

We started off with another mortgage company out of Florida. They werent terrible, but also werent very knowledgeble with particular FHA requirements regarding engineering, rural septic systems, land, etc. They probably would have been fine for any typical urban single-family home in a subdivision, but fell well short of expectations, so our realtor pointed us to AmCap.Tracy and his staff proved knowledgeable in all areas of FHA financing on rural properties. He got us the terms we wanted/needed to make our home purchase. Clearly, we couldnt have done this without him and his team.We also threw him a curveball (low and outside) once our loan was approved. As a courtesy to the sellers request, we asked to close early. Tracy knocked it out of the park again and closed us a full week early! In an industry where many fail to close on time, Tracy was like, Hold my beer.... -
