    Probably the best credit union I have ever dealt with. In less than a week they handled my application and sent me contracts for the car I wanted to purchase. Matthew Gill and Kendra are exceptional! I mostly worked with Matthew and I was so appreciative of how he could satisfy my queries without even needing me to meet with him in person.The good thing is that even though I had a pretty short credit history, Texas Tech FCU worked out my application and suggested a reasonably satisfying deal. For this reason, I will recommend TTFCU with high confidence.

    Texas tech credit union has always been my go to for anything and everything I need. Edwin has always gone above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of and not seen as “just another client”. Customer service beats all the rest by a long shot and happy to always do business with them. Give them a shout for anything you may need!

    I have worked with Kali Arredondo at Texas Tech Credit Union on several real estate transactions. My clients love working with her because she is great to explain the details and the closing costs and rates are always competitive! As a listing agent, if a buyer comes with an offer and a letter from Texas Tech Credit Union, I know it’s a solid pre-approval. Her team does a great job making sure we go from contract to closing without surprises.

    UPDATE: They had one terrible employee who has since been terminated. Everyone else has been exceptionally good.Absolute worst experience ever. These people dragged out a loan that was approved, and locked, for 10 months before deciding that they no longer wanted to make the loan because the interest rate lock is lower than current rates.They bungled an easy loan in unimaginable ways. unscrupulous and outright lying. Twice I was driving to title to sign documents in the car when I got a phone call saying that they needed to delay.Run, don’t walk away from this credit union. Totally unethical. I have an 810 credit score and I’ve had 12 mortgages in my life. I am not a flake who did not qualify. The photo below is from August 24, 2022. From the loan agent.

    Texas Tech Credit Union is hands down the best banking institution I have ever worked with.     I love working with TTCU.Ive completed two auto loans, a line of credit, a personal loan, and my first mortgage through the credit union, and I have never had better service. All loans were approved almost over night, and even during the insane housing market of the late 20teens, they were able to close in three weeks when others were asking for 5-6 weeks. Whether it is savings or lending, Texas Tech Credit Union will always be my first thought.

    I found a vehicle I wanted to buy. The dealership had all the paperwork and financing done but I was not pleased with the interest rate. I called TTFCU and Jose got me approved, shaved nearly 3 percentage points off of the dealerships rate, and out of the door in about 45 minutes. Everyone should try these folks out!
