Steven was exceptional to work with. He always returned phone calls and was so patient with all my questions even when I kept asking him the same questions over again. It was indeed a pleasure to work with Steven. I did not meet Steven face-to-face, however new technology allows a seamless process virtually. Steven kept in constant contact with me during my decision-making process and continued the constant contact when I decided to use his company for the mortgage process. Steven went above and beyond to make sure the loan closed timely, even stepping in as a therapist at times. :) He always responded to my texts and emails without hesitation. Steven Castaneda firm provides great customer services and great deals.I was in the process of moving to Texas, and we were looking for a mortgage deal to purchase a property. Steven and his team actively helped us through out the entire process. They clearly answered any questions that we had, and guided us to select the best plan that fit our budget. Active communication, customer follow-up and best service are the key points of this firm. I definitely will work with them again in the future and will refer to friends and family.

Ive used Steven for 2 house purchases and 2 refinances. Hes be great throughout all of them. He answered every question I had (even the small, seemingly insignificant ones) and was always straightforward and honest. If I ever need another home loan or refinance, I wouldnt hesitate again to give Steven a call. Would highly recommend him to anyone that needs help with their mortgage or refinance.

Steven was in constant communication with us and always answered all of our questions about as soon as we asked them. The online portal for messages and document upload was so easy to use. I found Steven online after moving to Houston from the midwest. He was the best reviewed mortgage broker in my area. He and his staff definitely lived up to those reviews. Everything went super smooth with no surprises. He advised me to lock in at a 4.75 rate weeks ago. If I had waited I could have ended up in the low 6s. That saved me 10s of thousands over the life of my loan. Add in that he and his staff were responsive, friendly, and easy to work with, I feel like I made a great choice in a lender.

My experience with Steven Castaneda (Network Funding) was beyond exceptional, I could not be more pleased! I was referred to Steve through a friend who worked with him to buy her first home. She had nothing but positive things to say about him and how much he helped her through the first time home buying process. Since this would be my first time purchasing a home, I knew I would need all the help and guidance I could get. After going through the whole process of buying my first home, I can honestly say that I am grateful that I had Steve by my side the entire way. He was informative and personable throughout the whole process. Even though I was a novice of the whole process, he was patient and kind, guiding me step by step. We are now all moved in and happy in our new home! I am beyond thankful! I definitely would recommend his services to friends/family in the future!

This is my second time getting a mortgage with Steven and his team. The experience is just fantastic. I contacted him to let him know that I needed a mortgage, and within 5 minutes had an email response and within five minutes of that we had talked on the phone, and within an hour or so of that I was pre-qualified. They answer all your questions. Theyre very responsive. Their rates are always at LEAST as good as but normally better than anyone else. I cant recommend them enough. At a minimum, reach out and see what they can do for you because itll only take you a few minutes, and I promise youll be impressed.

Steve and his team (Helen and Philip included) worked extremely expediently and diligently throughout our mortgage refinancing process, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic nonetheless.As first-timers to the whole refinancing process, Steve made sure we were made aware of all the relevant steps in the process including document gathering, credit checks, etc. His daily updates on the latest movements in interest rates ultimately helped us lock in a great lower mortgage rate on a shorter term mortgage. A meeting with a notary at our home was arranged in order to get all the required documents signed within the confines of our own home. The whole process was so much easier and less painful than we expected.Cant recommend Steve and his team enough! Get in on the low rates while theyre still around!
