The last time I purchased a home was nearly 20 years ago, so I knew things had changed a lot and was therefore preparing myself for a myriad of confusion, probably also frustration, and certainly technical difficulties on my end. I was not prepared to feel so much at ease throughout the process because Chris and his team kept me updated and well-informed, all along the way. They explained things and kept the process running smooth and really made it feel easy. I want to highlight that Chris and his team have such a calm and reassuring demeanor that you cannot help but feel calm yourself. They explain things in ways you can understand without being pretentious - which I greatly appreciate! I felt so lucky that they have vast experience, and that they’ve seen all kinds of situations- because my situation required extra documentation which almost made me panic but they were so reassuring and guided me step by step to where it felt like a crisis was averted! I can’t say enough good things about Chris and his team- with them you are getting so much more than a mortgage team; you’re getting peace of mind! Thank you Chris, Lucy, & Alex - you all rock!

From the very first phone call, I knew that Chris was our go to guy! He knew the answers to all of our questions without ever having to look anything up, it was all routine to him even though it felt all over the place to us. Especially if youre working with a VA loan, Chris is the one you want working for you! Very responsive, great info, and he means it when he says he will make sure youre getting the best deal possible.10/10 would recommend!

This team has by far has always exceeded my expectations! Chris and his entire team are are who i call friends...Chris and I had many midnight calls calming down my freak outs and never complained just always answered! I will never go thru another lender, have used him for the past what seems like 12 homes i have purchased, he hopes this past one was my last and i hope the same but i will be using him for refi when i becomes better timing of rates! BEYOND IMPRESSED!

Chris Shoemaker was amazing! As a first time home buyer, I knew I was in great hands. Everything was efficient and anytime I had a question, he was there to answer it. Christa W was on his loan team and she was fabulous as well, always reaching out whenever they needed something to make sure the loan closed on time. I’m pretty sure we got the clear to close 2 weeks before my closing date. 15/10 would def recommend! Chris made buying a house easy, by the time I got to closing I thought, “was that it?!” Absolutely no stress!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. We had an extremely difficult situation and hurdle to overcome to purchase our home. We were introduced to Chris two years prior to this purchase and I can only say he went above and beyond.Not only did he guide us to the right people he truly cared! Many people would have just said give us a call when you’re ready, but Chris took the time to go through the process of getting us ready. Every phone call was taken, every email was answered, every doubt was put to rest with a positive plan in action! We closed on our dream home and I truly believe this could not have happened without the help of this lender. Chris sets the standard high and gets the job done! I have worked alongside him on dozens of loans and he has an uncanny ability to get loans closed.Dont call him and think he can work a miracle on your 400 FICO - but he will take the time to tell you how to get where you need to be.
