    My wife and I bought our first house almost 2 years ago and Seth did the mortgage. We didnt use a realtor and neither did the seller, who was a first time seller, so neither of us had any idea what we were doing. Seth made getting through the paperwork seem less like mountain climbing and more like hiking, cause its still a lot no matter how you look at it. He was always available at reasonable times and was frequently available after hours and on weekends. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional at all times. I cannot recommend him enough!

    Stop, Look no further. Several months ago I was looking for a lender doing Refinances of mortgages. After a lot a research I found Fairway Mortgages, to my surprise they had a local Branch. JD Powers gave them great ratings better then other lenders commonly used. I called and spoke with Seth for awhile. He said he would help us and he did. That same day he took my application over the phone even though it was near closing time.Seth has assembled a team of great young professionals. They help you every step of the way. They cross cover each other so you can always reach someone. Your NOT kept in the dark like many banks and other online lenders. Your calls and emails are answered same day. So why use a local branch of Fairway Mortgages:1: they live where you do.2: they know the real estate market so they can easily relate to the issues that may arise.3: they know the housing inventory, realtors and what risk to assume.4: they establish relationships with their clients which is important in this day of antisocial media (aka: social media)5: they work hard and follow through because their reputation means something. Stay local!6: Seth has trained his team, and empowered each of them to solve the problem at hand for the customer when they call. Meaning when you call, whoever you talk to will solve the issue or route your concerns to appropriate member of the team and solve the issue.In Spite of a few glitches, Seth kept me informed, patiently answered all my calls, explained in detail the process, and most of all he KEPT his promises.     I usually use a different mortgage company and because the previous company was unresponsive, I tried Fairways. OMG!!!A-Mazing experience!!!!! Every phone call, every email was answered promptly and professionally. The partial on-line closing document signing saved me from a mountain of paperwork at closing.
