I guess I am a lucky one after reading these other reviews. Someone always answered when I called, they answered all my questions and even gave me updates on my property release. I had zero issues what so ever. I appreciate these officers and the job they did for me. -

I had lost my wallet and called around. Turned out that SAPD found it and held it for me at the SAPD Property Room. I made an appointment to pick it up, and since it wasnt there due to an arrest, I didnt have to pay the $25 to get it back. Everything was still there too. Very easy process. -

I lost my wallet riding my bike and didnt have no clue what to do I thought it was in the dump yard but turns out a very nice person turned it in to the cops I got a letter almost a week after losing it but how do I get it back if my ID is in it and i dont have a new one yet do i have to get a new ID and pay the 25$ fee??? Any advice -
