I just closed on my house this morning, and I could not be happier with Matt and his team! I searched around for a loan agent, and decided to go with Matt. It was a great decision! He went right to work searching to get me a great interest rate as well as a plan to help me get the kind of house I was looking for. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process and made everything so easy. If I ever had a question or concern, he was always available and extremely helpful. When I asked to move my closing date up by 3 days, he didnt hesitate. He got right to work and made it happen without a hitch. The title company was also extremely complimentary of the work Matt did and how thorough and on time he was with all of the needed documents. I would recommend Matt and his team 100 percent! -

My wife and I found the home we wanted, but we had a very aggressive schedule to close. My realtor said she knew just the right person to get the job done, Matt Pruitt. Matt contacted us immediately and we got straight to work. He truly understood and cared about our need to close quickly and assured me that as long as I did my part filling out the forms and returning them in a timely manner, we would close on the house within our very aggressive schedule. His confidence and calm manner made us feel confident that we could get it done.Every step of the way he made sure we knew and understood what we were filling out and, if we had questions about anything, he was just a phone call away. If he didnt answer the phone when we called, he always got back to us within a couple of hours. It was very refreshing to experience such great customer service from an individual with such great understanding of what it really took to close on our home.I cannot thank Matt enough for all of his hard work, professionalism, and kindness that he provided me and my family during this process. This was my husbands and I first time to buy a home which is a very overwhelming process!! We were lead to Matt through our realtor, that we barely knew, but gained trust quickly based on the first few conversations! When I called Matt the first time he answered the phone in the middle of his workout and took the time to talk to me and share first steps in the financial process of home buying. After I did the application he walked us through the next few steps and took the time to break everything down. You pretty much have to spill your life out when buying a home and have to trust the person you work with. Matt was very understanding and answered any questions we had and some he answered before we asked!! We had a smooth buying process which says a lot to what Matt did for us and even took the time to congratulate us on closing day!! We will use him for all future investments!!! -

SHORT VERSION: Matt was absolutely incredible to work with. He really went the extra mile to help us, walked us through the whole process, answered our questions and all-in-all went to bat for us like no other lender that we talked to. I definitely recommend him and will recommend him to anyone I know who needs a lender.LONG VERSION: When we initially started looking for a house, we talked with a local lender, but she really pushed us to use a down payment assistance program that would drive up our interest rate, and that was not what we wanted. So, after talking with her for a couple of weeks we switched to working with a guy from CHASE.We got our information all processed, and although we werent able to borrow as much as we had hoped, we were confident that we would find a house to meet our needs. However, as we found properties that we were interested in making offers on, the target would move. CHASE would not approve us for what they originally had said.It was incredibly frustrating.When we finally found a house in the perfect price range, and it was a good fit for us, we needed to make just the right offer. Our market has been super competitive. When we tried to work out the best offer we could make with CHASE, our guy had gone out of town and passed us to a colleague. We were on a major time crunch when he eventually said, I won’t be able to call today as I’m buried with two applications I’m currently working. (Our Guy) should be back on Monday and able to assist.WHAT??Enter, our hero, Matt Pruitt! We were encouraged to talk to Matt to see if he could help us get what we needed to make a better offer on this house we were interested in. He talked to me on a Saturday and did all he could to work out an offer for us on that house. We didnt get it, because of all the delay the bank had put us through, but, thankfully that is not where the story ended.Matt followed up with us after my husband and I didnt get the house. We were ready to give up. We knew that what we really needed was a higher borrowing amount (we have a big family) and we felt like we could afford it, but banks just saw us as a risk (were self-employed).When Matt followed up to talk us through what he could do for us, the difference was astronomical! He ran our numbers and was able to lend us over 60K more than others had been willing to lend us, with a great interest rate and no DPA program.But it wasnt just the numbers that were different. He was empathetic and encouraging. He answered our questions and treated us like human beings instead of numbers on a computer screen.We talked to Matt on Monday, found an amazing house in the neighborhood we wanted with the space we wanted for a great price on Tuesday and had a contract by Wednesday. Working with Matt, we were able to close a whole week early, and I am writing this review from inside our new home next to our fireplace while my kids are playing. Its honestly a dream come true.If you are looking for a lender, I cannot recommend Matt Pruitt highly enough. He is great at his job and just a fantastic human being, and has a team of great people working with him as well. If we could make him an honorary member of our family, we would! -
