Raising my review after being contacted by the bank. Charla helped smooth things over.Long time customer. I have an old savings account at a lower interest rate than is currently offered. When I inquired about opening a new account with the new higher interest rate and transferring my money over to that account, I was informed that the new account would need to be opened with new money. I politely told the support representative Ill be shopping for a new bank. She didnt seem to care. I thought credit unions were supposed to be different.

I have been a member for 4 years now. This credit union has great products and services, and the customer service is consistently great! Whether going inside of the branch, or using the drive-through, I am treated like a valued member. Lis is one of the tellers who assisted me yesterday. She greeted me with a smile. Lis was also professional, courteous, and fast. I highly recommend Prestige Community Credit Union for all of your banking needs!

I needed to get a text to complete a transaction. I attempted 4 times. I contacted chat to send a text because I could not on the website in my message link. Anyway the person had no clue what to do. I was told they dont send a text. I also had unreliable service before the 1st request was complete. The person repeated what I asked for after I said what I needed. It was like the person had no clue. Then not getting the text. I should have realized I was dealing with someone had no idea what they were doing. Banking is not easy much less attempting to be helpful. I hope they get some helpful answers to our needs. Especially in text messagwould néedes. Got to be difficult with todays of difficult times. I know I would need a lot of extra help dealing with clients request. They were polite and very easy to chat with. I have problems at times figuring how to request what I need. I hope there is a link to find a local CU in my ZIP code 75228. Cannot find one even though it is offered on website PCCU have a good day!

Chelsea was phenomenal!!! My family moved to the area last year but were still members of a Katy, TX credit union. Sometimes it’s hard to make deposits or even do simple transactions. He is a excellent teacher, very patient with me. I now know how to do it should the need arise. Everytime, I have needed assistance with them from the bank tellers to Customer Service and I even had to talk to IT one time. This credit union is the best! They will actually work with you unlike the big banks. I have had Prestige loan to me when the big bank I have been a part of for almost 30 years would not. Vanessa Martin is fantastic! Prestige happens to be a shared branch of my credit union from out of state, so I visited them to get a cashiers check for closing funds on a house. Everything should have gone smoothly, but my credit union was having some issue with the request for the withdrawal. Vanessa stayed on the phone with them for over half an hour, and well passed closing, trying to troubleshoot the issue. She verified everything was correct on my end and endured getting passed around from person to person on the phone with no real resolution to the problem. My credit union couldn’t even tell her what their own problem was, which was causing the issue in the first place. I was stressed and unhappy with this result, but agreed to come back the next day and try again with Vanessa, and hope that my credit union had straightened their stuff out. Not 10 minutes later I get a call from Prestige saying my credit union had called Vanessa back with a possible fix, and she continued to work on it with me on the phone, and amazingly ended up solving the problem! I cannot thank her enough for being so patient and willing to continue helping me when it seemed this was a dead-end issue. On a time crunch and having already taken time off work to come in and get this done, she was an absolute live saver! Thank you Vanessa Martin!!

Part of what I like is how organized and well managed their system is. My husband and I have ALWAYS been against banks because weve never liked the idea of paying someone to keep our money. Well, that all changed the moment my husband and I walked into Prestige and met Richard. This guy made us feel very comfortable and he was able to confidently answer all our questions and concerns. His professionalism was remarkable and most importantly we were in and out within no time. I couldnt believe how great everything went and to top it off, the CEO came over to personally meet us both. Why did I change Credit Unions? Cynthia and Jeanie.I was member of a federal credit union and used this location as a shared branch.The first time I walked in Jeanie was very nice to me and gave me information on how to become a member. For a month, I kept going and Cynthia and every one was very friendly and helpful; they taught me their procedures and even on long days Cynthia was always smiling.Their service is a stark contrast from my previous credit union; finally after I went in for a transaction I ran into Cynthia, I went home and decided to apply online like Jeanie had showed me a month before. Today I went in and sure enough Cynthia was smiling.

Prestige has excellent service and attentive employees. I recently had to wire transfer money and was having some issues getting accounts and service straight. Angel helped me make the transfer and gathered all the necessary information to ease the process. Additionally, I was having a few issues with my online banking. Paul took my call and got and got me up and running in no time!Last year Prestige pre-approved me for an auto loan. The dealership ended up beating their rate, but it allowed me peace of mind before I went into the showroom (& helped me get a better rate!)Overall, I have been very pleased with their service and their rates for all their products are very competitive.

Today started terribly with trying to cash a check at CHASE BANK & PLS CASH CHECKING, but all that ended when I stepped inside the branch of Prestige community credit union. Ms. Denise welcomed me in with open arms, was very understanding and very sweet, and with a quickness. She called the sister branch and verified everything was correct, and it was confirmed to be a valid check. I couldnt cash the check without opening up an account, but why not when youre in business for yourself. This was when I met two other beautiful women that also helped me with opening arms, Ms. Jamie and Ms. Caroline. They professionally opened my account and created my debit card. I very seldom take the time to write a review, however, due to my experiences with Prestige Community Credit Union over the past 3 years I truly believe they have earned and deserve a public Thank You for their excellent customer service and stewardship. There have been times when unexpected issues arrive which have prevented me from making my auto loan payment on scheduled paydate...in every instance when I have contacted Prestige (specifically Lamonte McIlveen) they have worked with me to make alternate arrangements satisfactory to both parties. Over the past several years I have had medical issues, work related issues, as well as an assortment of general life issues which have prevented me from meeting my obligations in a timely manner. Everyone I have ever contacted at Prestige have been respectful and courteous and have worked with me to resolve any issues. Prestige does not take the stance Business is Business-they understand todays economics for the everyday worker and realize issues arise beyond our control sometimes - they will work with you as long as you contact them and work out a plan of action to resolve whatever your situation. Lamonte Mcilveen who is the Member Solutions Manager is the epitome of Customer Service Excellence.In all the years I had my loan through them he was always available, compassionate, understanding and never judged me while I was going through such financial difficulties.I have had my car paid off for a year and today I needed assistance with my title and release of Lien letter. Love this place! I have an account with my dad and every time i go in the tellers are very helpful greeting me asking hows my day going, along with Miss Karen and Mr Jamie. They make me feel like i can ask them whatever questions and very comfortable with anything, I however am going to say i have dealt with the other fellow on the customer service side and he has always been rude and seems very unwillingly to answer anything i ask over the phone i just rather go in in-person. Along with some girl from loans she seem very pushy to get me and just didnt care once i said Not Today on my credit builder . Well I remember once Mr. Jamie even called me back just to make sure my card was working and i was able to log into my account after the whole change. I will always bank with this place and will continue to come as long as they are there. Just have to change or train some of the staff!! :)))))

We have had an auto loan here since 2017 and the most amazing experience with Lamonte Mcllveen. We began to struggle financially due to covid and then one thing after another was happening where we could not keep up anymore. Our teenage daughter was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer in September of 2020 and we decided to let the truck go. Lamonte stepped up and helped every step of the way, he worked with us by giving us options on what to do that would best benefit us. Lamonte went well out of his way to help us, even more than my own family. We will never forget this extraordinary experience and all that he has done for us.
