From the moment I hit submit on my refi application through LendingTree I started to regret my decision.... I knew that my phone was about to explode with calls. The first call I received was from Robert Hand, and Im incredibly thankful that was the case. He is prompt, knowledgeable, understanding, and kind. I gave Robert a tall order: we wanted our refinance to both convert our FHA loan to a Conventional loan (to loose PMI), and we hoped to pull cash out of our homes equity. With a few short questions Robert gave me great options to think about, setting our first goal to switch from FHA to Conventional, and discussed the options for a cash out refi. Within two hours we had a quote, we had a Plan A (refi to conventional and cash out) and a Plan B (refi to Conventional only, but access to our escrow funds). Within 24-hours of our first conversation, the Refi process was started, and Robert had set up the Appraisal for our home, which happened quickly. Within a week of the appraisal, we received our Appraisal report, (after 8pm on a Friday night). First thing Monday morning Robert reached out, excited about being able to provide us the Plan A! With a flip of a switch (it seemed) Robert changed our documents, and got us headed down that path. Robert wanted us to fund prior to the end of the month, so that we wouldnt have to pay another mortgage payment -- Sounded Great --- But we were leaving town at the end of the week. Apparently, Robert and his team (Hailey McCollum) wear capes under their day clothes.... Between Monday afternoon and Thursday Morning theyd reprocessed all of our loan paperwork, gotten it through underwriting AND we closed on Friday afternoon.... Just in time for us to head out of town! Robert and I first spoke on October 25th, and we closed on our refinance on Friday, November 19th -- 19 business days!!! Thanks to Robert and Hailey, the process was simple and efficient!
