I just bought my first home and didn’t know what to expect. Mario and his team went above and beyond, always thoroughly explaining each step of the process and answering any questions quickly. Mario is so knowledgeable and made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable for us. We always felt he was on our team, working to get us the best possible outcome. There is no doubt NRL is the most reliable and trustworthy mortgage company. I’ve recommended them to all my friends and family, my mother in law is even using them for her new home because she witnessed how expertly and efficiently Mario worked for us. Brian also helped me understand certain documents, always taking his time and being so patient and friendly. NRL mortgages rates are fair, and the home buying process was smooth, involving modern technologies like eSign, automatic extraction of information from my bank, and a easy to use and helpful mobile app. The loan processor (Andre Garza) was super thorough, but also efficient, which gave me confidence that NRL really cares about the mortgage process and doing things right instead of just passing everyone through. The loan officer (Karen Cardona) was super knowledgeable, attentive, and fun to work with. She went above and beyond and helped us sometimes later into the night with loan estimates and getting the paperwork done. She was always patient and answered every one of our hundred of questions via text / call, or found someone who did and relayed the information. Finally, she was personable and pleasant to work with, which helped reassure us throughout the process. It was clear we could immediately trust her with this huge purchase. We would not be in a home today without her constant assistance and reassurance throughout the mortgage process. Thanks Karen!

We had a very hard time getting a mortgage loan. We went to 2 different banks (including my own)and tried 3 website, none were able to help us, and just by chance we drove by NRL mortgage on mccoll rd and my husband said let try one more time. It is difficult to sum up such a positive experience in a few sentences, but we have nothing but great comments regarding Dr. Rosy and NRL Mortgage. For us the process that is often filled with concerns and anxiety surrounding the plethora of what if circumstances that may arise and cause a loan to fall through did not exist. Dr. Rosy and the NRL team got our loan approved and finalized on the 1st attempt with ZERO hang-ups or delays. We wanted to work with a lender who was on the ground in Cameron Co., and luckily happened across NRL & Dr. Rosalba Saavedra. Her experience with VA loans was priceless for me. Especially having heard the not so great stories from others who have tried to use their VA loans. Dr. Rosy ensured that our loan was approved, processed, and closed upon in a timely manner. The only things that we did were to get them requested documentation in as fast of a turnaround time as we could, and we followed their directives and advice. Its not hard, just listen to and follow through with what is asked of you. Theyre the subject experts, we put our trust in them, and were not disappointed at all.
