I had a concerns about a company asking for our bank info for an ACH transaction that sounded fishy and Tanya gave me great advice on how to not get scammed.     I have been doing business with NCU for more than 10 years and its always been a great and joyful experience especially with loan officer Lauren Blackistons help. She is always professional, quick answering my questions and the terms/rates she offered are always the best.     My wife and I moved to Texas almost (9) years ago and immediately looked for a local bank. A friend suggested we look at Neighborhood Credit Union in Coppell. Well we did, and at that time, Carrie Pescatello was the Branch Manager. What a wonderful experience. Carrie was so helpful in getting our accounts set up. Not only our personal accounts, but ones for our growing business. We continue to visit the NCU Coppell Branch and are always greeted by friendly faces and courteous service.     Cannot stand the Nick recording and now Im locked out of my app and because I was busy doing some paperwork I closed it and didnt proceed and theyre getting me messages like thats why Im locked out too many attempts when I truly only tried one or two times and then when it finally accepted my password it said I still couldnt get in. When I called they wanted to tell me its because it was too many attempts but when it finally said I could get in it still wouldnt let me in I dealt with that for about 30 minutes one day and told him to mail me my information. Im still not in my account bet my billstatement is mailed. Super not user-friendly because you couldnt just hit copy when they would give you a code you had to go back and forth between your text messaging or email and the website. Things are not popping open and putting you in the right place automatically.very outdated system for modern times. Please fix soon

    I had the privilege of working with Jose Guerrero on my auto car loan a week ago. It was the best car buying experience ever. Right when my husband and i walked into the credit union Jose greeted us with a big smile. He completely took charge of the process. He is very knowledgeably about loan auto process. He walked us through the loan process and he even offered references to consider if we chose to use Toyota. Jose went above and beyond to help make the process so much easier. What a great communicator, he returned calls promptly , he was super flexible as email works better for me. I could count on Jose for a future car loan. I have dished out his contact information for friends and family who would be looking to get a car loan. He deserves a big bonus, what a sport he is. I sent him an email to say thank you for all that he did.

    Working with Jose Guerrero for a loan application was a great experience. He was very helpful and detailed every step of the way. Any questions I had he had an answer to , the process was fast, smooth and easygoing.     Great customer service. I am a customer of another credit union (out of state) member, called this shared branch to get notary of a document, the lady i spoke was very nice and told they will do it, when i went there the notary greeted me as soon as i enter into the branch and did a notary, asked me if I need a copy and i said yes, he made a copy of the document. Great people, appreciate the help and would recommend Neighborhood Credit Union to friends. I usually go to the driver through teller and the staff are always friendly and prompt, never had any issue with this Branch.

    I have purchased several vehicles in the last year and each time I have received excellent service from the staff at Neighborhood Credit Union. Most recently I have worked with Jose to complete a new truck and a boat purchase. His knowledge of the loan process and customer service skills are excellent.     I worked with them to get an auto loan. The whole process was very fast, convenient and easy. The whole feel with the branch is very pleasant and welcoming unlike other big banks like Bank of America, Citibank. They treat you very well. The moment you enter the branch a person will walk up to you and offer water. They have a convenient waiting place with newspapers and magazines. The staff is very efficient and takes care of most of the things over email and phone. I was dealing specifically with Jose who was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the branch to anyone in the area looking for affordable and outstanding banking services.

    I was referred to Neighborhood CU by a trusted friend and colleague. I am so glad that I was! Jose Guerrero was extremely professional, helpful, and continued to follow up with me until I found the vehicle I was looking for.     Ive worked with big banks my whole life and Jose Guerrero has changed my mindset for good. Coming to Neighborhood Credit Union was one of the best and easiest decisions Ive made so far. A few months ago I was at around 16k in debt and with the help of Jose and his money management skills he was able to refinance my truck and help me get rid of a lot of debt. I now am down to 3K and only 2 payments, monthly versus 6. With his help I should be done by October. Neighborhood Credit Union, you truly have a great asset on your team. Since hes helped me Ive referred my sister and he has done the same for her. The referrals will keep coming..

    Recently my daughters car succumbed to flood damage, so the insurance company declared it a total loss and told us we only had a few days left to use the rental. As a result, we had to obtain quick financing and find a car! My daughter had an account with NCU, so we thought we would try them. We started with Carrie, who was really helpful explaining the process and helped my daughter review some potential vehicles, relative to their potential to be financed; after that, we worked with Jose Guerrero to get pre-approved, so we could go check out some cars. Jose was awesome! He was very personable and professional! After he set us up with our approval paperwork, he told us hed be glad to help us review any vehicles we find against the Manheim data to make sure we knew a fair price to target during negotiations. We took him up on his offer several times over the next 48 hours, even contacting him on his cell after hours. He was so kind and helpful!I used 2 other credit unions in the past to finance my auto purchases before trying NCU. I will definitely be using NCU and Jose going forward! We got a great rate, and he had our best interest in mind throughout the process!

Opening an account can be confusing/time consuming but with the help of Neighborhood Credit Union staff they broke it down and gave me options that best fit my needs.     Love this location and Rachel, the manager, is always so helpful. Their ATM is very helpful as it allows me to make instant cash deposits when I’m not able to make it during open hours. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking into joining a credit union!

    Alex and Jose are literally angels on earth. I was stuck in a ruth and completely lost when it came to looking for car loans. I had been researching credit unions and ran across NCU.     They are incredibly pleasant and helpful here! I am a member of a cooperative credit union that does not have a location nearby. Im so glad I found out that I can use Neighborhood CU for those transactions that still require face-to-face assistance (and there are still some of them out there!) They have helped me troubleshoot and solve issues (international checks cant be deposited via the mobile app - who knew?) and its a quick process for them to access my credit union account.

    My husband and I recently joined NCU. We never expected the AMAZING service we have received since the first contact. Shelby Wells was so friendly and helpful with getting our accounts set up. She stays in contact with you and she is VERY prompt to respond to emails or calls so you get your questions or concerns addressed fast. She was a great first contact with this bank because you will be hooked from the get. We also applied for a loan and that process was SO easy breezy. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carrie Pescatello. She genuinely cares about you as a valued customer and literally treated us like we were GOLD.     I love NCU and all of the friendly employees that make you feel like family! I especially love the Denton Tap location. My loan experience with Jose was EXCEPTIONAL!!!     I was looking into my credit and brought up a subject on it amongst a group of friends. Jose popped into the convo and was giving me some really good advice, so I decided to reach out to him directly. Before this point I didn’t even know what a personal loan was or consisted of, but between him and google I quickly learned. Long story short, I wanted to clear up some small (under 2k) credit card debt to boost my score to get a car, and I was thinking of going this direction. Due to distance I couldn’t go to Jose, so I shopped around my town and then ran my findings past him. I encountered an issue where I could get approved for the loan, but my local CU would want to me close down those cards, the oldest on my report, to do so. Ran that past Jose and of course he said NO WAY! He instructed me to look elsewhere and that’s what I did. His advice really helped me to avoid a BIG mistake, I’m fortunate I’m not an impulsive person and that he was so willing to help. If I was in his area I would defenietely be doing business with him and I would encourage others to do so too! He helped me FOR FREE!! Hello!

    I just totaled my car last week and I needed a cashier check for my down payment. Drive thru was only open. Because of my Situation they came through when I really needed them. They helped me with my cashier check and I didn’t have too wait the next day. Its rare to fund businesses that have a heart to help people. I suggest anyone to visit this location for all your banking needs. I will be bringing them lunch tomorrow

    Im not making this up, Im not getting paid for this (besides all the money Im saving). NCU changed my financial life. You cant beat the customer service and dependability. Jose Guerrero helped me on a level youd expect from somebody youve known your whole life and that was the first time I walked in. If youre tired of banking bs, give them a chance because you wont regret it!

    I love this bank and this location is amazing!!! The manager of this bank is always so accommodating and her staff are amazing as well. I called to see what the process for getting an auto loan was and I had my approval in 1 hour. If you are looking for customer service and a bank that knows your name... this is your bank!
