    **Review of NavyI recently opened an account at Navy Federal Credit Union, and I couldnt be more pleased with my experience.     MY STARS ARE FOR ANTOINE NOT COREY!!!I came in today the first time dealing with Corey. He advised when I came to change my last name I needed marriage license and DL. When I came a week ago they said just bring my social and DL and they would be able to change it. I quite naturally was frustrated at being told one thing coming prepared and then being turned around yet again. When I came back I assume Corey was in his feelings and decided to watch me walk through the door and grab his bottle of water and walk off and leave me standing at the entry and never looked my way. He clearly is not aware of the Four Agreements, one being NEVER TAKE ANYTHING PERSONAL. When I came back I dealt with Antoine she was prompt and very polite and helpful. I’m in Sales Support and once was in Customer Service as a Lead. One thing you never do is take it personal and another is always do your best, especially in business. Bad customer service is the FIRST thing that will run business off. Maybe he was having a bad day like me but my frustration wasn’t towards him it was the miscommunication and to see me walk through the door and refuse to help me by walking off on me, is unacceptable.Hopefully I don’t have to have an encounter with him again. Praying he gets better with his customer service skills and he changes his approach despite a frustrated customer your job is to try and resolve their issue and turn their experience around Corey. Not walk off like we’re friends. This is business. He did the opposite! Not a good look Navy Federal.

    This staff is remarkable. Ive been starting to come to this location more frequently and every time, I am welcomed with warm smiles and supportive staff members.Adrienne & Collin have made sure to get me every resource needed to reach banking goals. Ms. Antoine made sure to go above and beyond to help with my issues.

    Im sorry that others might have experienced less than stellar customer service but my experience was AWESOME.Danielle treated me with dignity and respect and everyone I came in contact with was very helpful, including opening the door for me as Im limited in my mobility.I also bank at Chase but NFCU will be my fulltime bank going forward.

    I had a positive experience with Mr. Collin. He demonstrated excellent customer service by answering all my questions with a friendly demeanor and showcasing extensive knowledge about every aspect of anything Navy Federal had to offer. Overall, a satisfying encounter and I even got to learn a few things I should’ve been taught in school. Thanks.

    Brand new location (at the time of this review)!Very nice layout, simular to other NFCU locations. This new location in The Colony is a lot more convenient for me.

    Navy Fed is a great organization, Ive banked with them over 16 years. This review is for the branch in The Colony Texas. I went in and spoke with the customer service representative in the front and asked her if you can request NFCU to release funds early for IRS refunds. She replied No we can not which was incorrect. I called the main number and was informed that you can, they just dont do it at that branch. Which would have been better information to give to a member then just no. All you need to do is call Navy Fed and they can do it over the phone, you dont need to go into any branch for that actually. Keep your representatives informed so they are giving out useful and correct information to service members please. Other then that I get what Id usually expect from any NFCU branch, good customer service... except for that Nathan guy. I dont know who runs this branch but Nathan exemplifies world class customer service. Every time I go in the Colony branch he goes above and beyond to help me and I see him do it for ever NFCU member he interacts with. I expect hell probably be managing his own branch in the not too distant future if the current manager of this one is paying attention.

    Me and my husband went into this brand new branch hoping for an easy and fast time and that is exactly what we got. The Assistant Branch Manager Jason helped us with our application and did so extremely well. It took about 45 minutes to do everything and it was such a pleasent experience that they are the only branch I want to go to from now on.

    I have read a lot of negative reviews here and I must say that I cant really speak about the customer service at the individual branches as I do most of my banking online but I did visit this particular branch on several occasions and everyone that I met was very helpful. I am an Army veteran that is blessed with great credit and in the past I did my banking with BOA for ~20 years and I must say that I am glad that I switched everything over to this organization. I have had multiple car loans with Navy each with a great interest rate. I also have a platinum visa with an unbelievable 7.99% APR as this is something that I would have never received at a major bank and it didnt matter how long I was with them because they treated me like a new customer every time I wanted anything, so to make a long story short I would say to definitely go with Navy Federal or another reputable credit union and just leave the big banks because they will do absolutely do nothing for you in the long run but lighten your wallet with ridiculous fees. I just hope that you guys continue to do a great job but not too good of a job where you guys are bought out by some other banking institution like Omni Federal Credit Union experienced as they were purchased by Southside Bank a number of years ago.

    I came here to get multiple gift cards for holiday gifts and other times in the year. The teller was patient and processed the request for 14 Visa gift cards for about $700 across all of the cards. She had to work hard to get my order accurate and completely documented before she was done. I received an activation receipt for the cards and I was on my way home.
