Vickie is the hero of our home purchase in the Spring of 2020 at Bellavita, an Over-55 Community in Pearland, TX. My wife and I were moving from Buffalo, NY for health reasons - we were both in our 80s and needing to get closer to MDA for my on-going lymphoma treatments and her diabetes treatments. In addition, it was the beginning of the COVID pandemic and I was suffering from a long lasting COPD episode. Our only assets were tied up in our house in Buffalo, and retirements were out only source of income.My wife is legally blind and I was unable to stand for more than a few minutes at a time. Even in my prime I was never good at the details of routine real estate transactions, and surely not the peculiar financing aspects of reverse mortgages.Vickie took charge of that process - recommending options that I did not know existed, and explained everything to a level that I could understand. But more importantly she did it in a manner that conveyed instant trust. In addition Vickie is an absolute pleasure to deal with. I have interrupted her off hours many times with questions and she was always generously cordial with her time. She always treated us as if we were her immediate family.Without her devoted support and extraordinary effort, we could not have arrived at a contract with which we could comfortably afford. I reached out to Vicki on behalf of my mother to get more information regarding reverse mortgage financing. My mother was on a fixed income, and we were searching for avenues to free up her finances, so she would have less financial stress. Vicki sent me a lot of information to review, so myself and my brothers picked the information apart to prepare ourselves with our meeting with Vicki. The three of us thought we had Vicki out matched. We were wrong! We spent three hours around the kitchen table firing off questions, scenarios, concerns and the what ifs.
