    Having Angela McMurry as one of your loan agents. She is the most amazing person. We definitely went through our ups and downs but every time I was ready to give up she said “Hold on girl, we got this!” She was right there fighting with me every step of the way until we made it.     Overall we had a good and smooth experience. Our lender was always readily available to answer any questions and help as needed. The one suggestion I have is to provide the resource of the home buying education course upfront—even before doing applications, requesting documents, etc. I understand this is a business and people are doing their jobs but I believe people are still generally good and look for the good in people and their experiences. My family would have appreciated the upfront education as a gesture of good faith, especially working with someone knowing we are first time buyers. To know our options and have a basic understanding of expectations, terminology and a place to start asking questions would’ve proven tremendously helpful. We were let down when that education wasn’t brought to our attention until being so far into the process.

    I found Pauls information on the TSAHC website as I was looking into purchasing using the downpayment assistance program here in Texas. In speaking with Paul he was knowledgeable about the program, explained the whole process to me (this is my very first home purchase) and let me know I could contact him with any other questions I might have in the future (which I had MANY). Every single phone call he was pleasant and I never felt like I was an inconvenience to him.     Suzanne took a problem file with no room or time for errors because our original loan company made false promises and held up the loan. Suzanne was completely transparent and honest and kept us updated at all times.Loandepot is just simply better and more equipped to navigate the mortgage industry in a digital age. Other companies are busy playing catch-up while Loandepot is busy perfecting the policies and procedures they have implemented long ago.
