    I did a big thing and decided to close on my first home in another state. Because of this, almost everything was conducted online and via phone. Other than the unsettling nerves that came with the process and trauma of not trusting many people, I believe the process was smooth and more settling, with the help and support of my Realtorā€” Tammy Harmon (eXp Realty, LLC) and Loan Officerā€” Christian Foster (Lennar). I did not have the most experienced team BUT they were the best! I remember getting flustered and Christian simply gave me a call to verbally reassure me. His phone call was reassuring and informative. If either of my team didnā€™t have answers to my excessive questions, they always did the necessary work to get me the correct answer even if it wasnā€™t favorable. I believe my team was God sent. If I were to buy again, I would reach out to them first before considering new team members. I donā€™t believe a lot of experience is required to deliver excellent customer service.     Purchasing a home was relatively straightforward; however, I encountered some challenges with customer service, particularly during the initial home orientation and the subsequent repairs. During the first walkthrough, most attendees arrived late, except for the construction manager, who was exceptional. We identified several items that needed attention, but I felt a bit of resistance from the representative responsible for applying the blue tape for marking repairs. It was frustrating that homeowners are not permitted to apply the tape themselves, as it complicated the process of getting the issues addressed.While many of the concerns were minor cosmetic issues, when making such a significant financial commitment, its natural to expect everything to be perfect. Unfortunately, the customer service from various team members was not up to par, with the exception of the construction manager and our loan officer, Bryson Reid. Bryson was outstanding and is the primary reason I am rating this experience four stars instead of lower. He was always available to answer our questions and went above and beyond to assist us, even after hours. His support truly exceeded my expectations, especially considering my experiences with other departments.Thank you again, Bryson, for all your help!

    Ive been a Realtor for a little over 18 years, and Im always a little skeptical with builders lenders. Some just seem to be comfortable with all of the clients the builders sales reps send them day in and day out. That is not the case with Lennar and particularly Linda Sato and her processor Janet Bell. They were on top of things every step of the way!     We worked with Amy Jacobs at EHM (now I believe Lennar Lending?) and Terri Grona of Lennar Title and had an unbelievable experience.Back in October, we put in an offer that was accepted for new construction up on Georgetown at a Lennar development. Some of the incentives offered to us required us to use Lennars 1st party lending and title company, which at first I was hesitant about.In my very first phone call with Amy, I knew that shes the only lender I would ever work with ever again. This purchase was for a 2nd home that would be occupied by my parents, and I was absolutely blown away by her extensive knowledge on everything from creative financing options to deep understanding of how property tax laws work and vary from county to county. She was able to explain extremely complex financing options in ways that anybody who was learning about them for the 1st time could understand.Already having built a business rapport with Amy, I knew we were in good hands. However, as we hit hurdles associated with the sale of another home in another state that would be funding part of the down payment, we were fortunate to experience the human side of Amy. And let me say this, I absolutely believe that without her business support, unbelievable empathy for the situation we were dealing with on the other house, and ability to quarterback the entire flow of communication across every involved party, we would have had to walk away from this house completely devastated.While Amy was the star of the show, that shouldnt take away from the incredible support of Terri and the others at Lennar. Its rare that a company with the size and scale makes you feel like you matter. It would have been easy for them to walk away from us. They could have turned around and sold this house to someone else in minutes. Instead, they were patient. They worked with us. They related to us. They helped us.My intention is to continue to purchase additional properties over the next few years, and whether Im buying a Lennar home or not, Amy will be the only lender Ill ever work with again.
