    The whole team has been great. They are fast with the communication, and even worked with me since I work overnights and weekends. They were great about answering all my questions and helping me navigate the complicated paperwork. Niki got me a great rate (not easy in this day and age) and gave me options on how to get things to fit in my budget. It has been almost a month since I closed, and they are still helping me out and answering questions that are coming up. Highly recommended.

    When we were referred to Niki @ Legacy Mutual Mortgage last year, my husband and I had already been told by another lender we’d need to wait several more months before we’d qualify to purchase our next home. Our builder rep heard our circumstance and told us “Give Niki’s team a call, if she takes you on - you’re good to go and if not, she’ll explain why and will then follow up with you when it’s time”. Well, we spoke to her mortgage rep on a Monday and had our pre-approval the following Saturday! We are so grateful for our builder referring Niki and Niki finding the solution b/c at that time (beginning of 2021), with the housing market the way it was, we knew new construction homes were on the way to higher pricing and if we couldn’t start right then we’d be priced out. Thankfully, we were able to lock in our purchase price before they skyrocketed! It took a year to build but Niki and team kept in contact with us throughout. When it was time to lock in our rate Niki setup a call to TALK THROUGH our options (yes OPTIONS!!) She is so knowledgeable that it didn’t feel overwhelming, any questions we had she and her team were quick to respond, everything was explained so well we were able to comfortably make a decision with no concerns. Closer to closing they sent us some moving gifts which we truly appreciated! Our lender for our first home hadn’t done that. And now here we are in our brand new home and LOVING IT, thanks to Niki Salter and team!!

This was not an easy task as we were out of state and had to coordinate every including signing at closing remotely.     Niki Salter and her team at Legacy Mutual are the best in the business. I measure how well a Mortgage team performs by two important metrics; 1) how often can you get your clients approved and get the loan closed, and 2) how happy are these clients after dealing with them. Niki and her team are experts at finding a way to get it done. They have so much experience that there is never a situation that they arent able to overcome. Clients with repeat experience who know what they need/want are VERY well served by Nikis team because they have the knowledge and skill to be flexible to everyones unique needs for their particular loan. Even clients who have challenges or just clearly dont qualify dont get a NO from Nikis team, they get a not right now, but lets work on it and get you a loan with a little work! The real people skills that Niki uses always put clients at ease and get them to lower any anxiety they have over what can routinely be a tense time. She has a way of conveying the idea of Dont worry, weve got this. I know when I refer a client to Niki and her team, they are going to get what they are looking for, and they are going to have a great experience doing it. GREAT JOB SALTER TEAM!!!

    We had an Amazing Experience with this team of professionals. They were able to guide us through our VA Loan process easily. Communication was always clear and on time.     Ive done business with Niki Salter and her team for years. She is always my first-choice go-to lender. Some of the reasons I love her and her team included:1. Repeated follow-ups with leads I provide for mortgage qualification.2. Processes/workflows to ensure nothing falls through the cracks during transactions.3. Ongoing communication (at least weekly), so I know exactly where my buyers are in the process.4. Personal $2,500 guarantee to sellers that barring title/appraisal issues she will close the loan. This helps my buyers in multiple offer situations.On top of all that, her team is professional and cares about agents and clients alike. They go out of their way to get files closed on time.

    Ms. Niki Salter and her team did a good job in working with me and my wife to get the best rate possible. Unfortunately our closing was at it worst time when mortgage rates climbed. Be ready to go back and forth for redundancy paperwork as you get closer to closing. My issue is not with Legacy Mortgage but rather the builder, Bellaire Homes, as the builder could not commit to a closing date when were were estimated to close in under 60-days, had they been able to do so I could have had a lesser rate of around 1.5%. Of course once the builder is certain of a closing time which for me was only a week away, the bios met is all of a sudden in an urgency to close on the home. Had I trusted my gut and locked in the rate at a small cost at the 69-day pint, I may have saved more than $400.00 - $500.00 month on my monthly mortgage. No one can predict the market for interest rates so most of the advice I received was inaccurate as I was advised the rates wouldn’t go above 4.5% -5% interest….Wrong. It was over 7% so I had to expend lots of money to get the rate to 6%. Just Shari g my experience for those seeking to buy a new home.
