    My experience with the KB loan process begin in a negative status. My prior loan officer made many professional mistakes, failed to return calls and consistently gave incorrect financial information. However, Josie Alvarez revived my account and proceeded to provide excellent customer care. She went through my loan line by line, ensuring that I understood my financial obligations. In addition to being available day, night and weekends for any question I may had.

    Lionel Garcia was my loan officer at KB Home. He by far was the best. He informed me and took the time to explain everything step by step. Was always available whether by text, email or a phone call away. Always in a good mood even if I was having a rough day. I never felt pressure or overwhelmed when having to provide all my information or paperwork. We always kept I touch even if it was just to say hello and if I had any questions. On my closing day, he text me and I was so nervous and there was some issue and he immediately came and he was there to handle everything that I needed. I definitely would recommend Lionel Garcia.     Gina Stahl is the truly the best! I highly recommend her. I am a first time homebuyer and had the best experience because of her.     First off, I havent reviewed anything for years, but KB was a friend during this process and so helpful in getting us into our new house as first time home buyers.It started with Sara Sosa on the sales team when we first showed up to look at a houses. We had already placed many offers on homes on the market but were getting frustrated with homes selling way higher than asking, inspections were being waived and cash offers for offers over appraisals. She started us off with a smile and laid our concerns to rest that once we started the process, the house would be ours.Everyone we met on the KB team was great. We just closed on the house yesterday and though we are excited, this review is a honest one. We definitely recommend KB to anyone who is looking for a house and wants to get locked in on a price rather than crossing your fingers on a house you are paying too much for to win. The only con would be watch what you add to the house while personalizing it as it can add up quickly. The great thing is that you have total control of that.Though the journey was long, we are excited about how our house turned out, the KB team that helped put it together and the fantastic memories we will be making in our new home.

    The staff at kb home loans was great. The negative I have was the loan lock policy when buying a new home. I had to wait for the frame to be up before they would allow me to lock the interest rate. Even after I signed the agreement and put a huge deposit down. This waiting period cost me thousands of dollars due to rates increasing exponentially, an additional 2% jump. Other than that, the whole process was very well organized. Weekly communications was provided to always keep updated. Paulette was my point of contact and she definitely goes above and beyond to help you through the process.

    Just purchased a new build with KB. They let me lock in EARLY in February 2022 and gave me regular updates about my locked in rate vs the rising market rate, which pleased me very much.     My experience with KBHS was smooth sailing from beginning to end. My first interaction with Chris he advised that I needed a higher credit score to get the incentives associated with their preferred lender. I immediately started working on that but he still continued moving my loan process right along. I started this process in July 2022. I received gold status in late September early October. This meant that as long as everything remained the same and my credit score improved there would be no hiccups when it came to closing.February 28th we broke ground, clear to close was received June 14th and I closed June 20, just as projected!In May they requested updated documents and re-verified employment.     Jared Jacobs saved the day during our loan process. It started out a bit rocky --and then about 3 months before closing we got switched to a different loan officer (Jared) and processor who made things happen. Would I recommend using KBHS Home Loans for the incentives yes but make sure you have a good loan officer. If you arent getting communication or good service then ask to be transferred to a different officer and processor IT WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE.

But as a FTB I did not know much about the process, so I thought maybe this is how it goes. I decided to test the waters and asked him all the questions I had asked the other lender, and Dan won me after we hung up via phone. When I was unsure or did not understand something, he took his time to break down for me, and he follows up with me on a daily and weekly basis. Charlene was super friendly and very fast at making sure what ever is needed from me for the underwriting process was communicate. She kept me in the loop to assure me things were being done and she made sure there was no surprises, because I told her I dont like surprises.
