Every once in awhile, you come across someone whos highly competent in their profession, always has your best interest in mind (aka not just selling you the highest commission product), and is an extraordinary human being - this is who Katherine is.She helped us navigate our first mortgage in Oct. of 2023 and recently w/ our refi in Oct. of 2024.I cannot speak highly enough about how she skillfully guided us throughout both processes.One example is how she helped us to lock in a much lower interest rate weeks prior to the first Fed rates cut in mid-Sept. (because rates are only indirectly tied to 10yr treasury rates as markets actually price the rates!), contrary to what others were recommending that we just wait until rates drop further - the rates surprisingly continued to rise after the rate cute and are still rising!Upon the conclusion of our refi and when I asked additional follow-up questions, she patiently and thoroughly explained all the moving parts and how everything worked together for what turned out to be a more complex refi than what we initially planned for.Through it all, Katherine never pushed to make a sale...she acted as our fiduciary during the entire process. And we always felt heard when we shared about some of the unique factors that came into play for our refi.Thank you again for your help, Katherine!
