Look no further! Jay Abeya was so wonderful to work with. My hubby and I are first time buyers and had no idea what to expect. Jay and his team made this experience so smooth and stress less for us. The K&G Capital Mortgage team was an efficient and stress-free mortgage from start to finish. K&G was a suggested preferred lender by our builder, but I already had a good business relationship from my previous mortgage company, so I was a bit skeptical and worried to try someone new. But my worries were unfounded as they exceeded all my expectations. The K&G team kept me up to date and gave me clear instructions on what was needed and when it was needed. I really appreciate the interest rate and type of loan we received. They took the time to listen and understand our particular situation and timeline; and they made everything work for us! Because of my trouble with the previous lender, Jay and I were REALLY on a time crunch but he made it happen so fast. Jay was fabulous!! He completely overhauled my loan and made it even better. We started out with Veterans United ( VU )for our home loan. They were promising a great rate and low closing costs and at the time my wife had tasked me with getting the loan started (big mistake) because she was extremely busy with work and told me to call around and Jay was on our list. My first mistake was I heard big companies were giving the best deals. We needed a VA loan and that’s all I really cared about at the time. I’m a Veteran, Veterans United, made sense. I also heard that rates were low and to be efficient, (lazy) I only called VU and told them to go ahead and start. Things started out just fine with them, but when I went to lock in my rate (we were told 3.0 to 3.4% but probably 3.0) it was almost a 1 percent higher (3.8 to 4.0%) than we were told it would be, but we could pay to lower it (???). I understand the market was changing daily during the time we were in the process of getting our loan. My wife is a realtor and politely told me to “CALL JAY NOW!” that she has heard very good things about him, so I did. He quoted my rate for that same day that VU gave me the high rate to 3.0%. I couldn’t believe it. I told Jay to make it happen. When we locked in a couple days later, Jay got us a 2.8% rate on our VA loan. From that moment on, I would not have to worry about anything else pertaining to our loan. Jay and K&G were beyond helpful. From getting the paperwork in via my phone (I pretty much did everything over my phone) to explaining how my loan was going to work and what my final payments were going to be well ahead of time so I could plan ahead. He gave us advice on what we could do during the loan process as to not mess up the loan. For example, our vehicle lease was up and he told us instead of buying a new car and redoing our numbers which could extend the loan process, he told us to simply just extend it and we could buy after everything was finalized. He also told us buying some furniture and getting a moving company was fine. These guys know what they’re doing and are the best source of finance information while purchasing a home. 5 ⭐️‘s for sure!! Thanks Jay and team. You guys helped us get the home we were meant to be in.

Hunter Lonnon, our loan officer, was invaluable to making the process of buying our first home a smooth and successful experience. I was in communication with him nearly every day for a month as we worked through the home buying process, and he answered every question I had thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. We went through two other lenders who either ghosted us or just flat-out lied to us, but Hunter Lonnon was consistent in being open and straight-forward with us about every aspect of our loan.
