I have worked with Joe for the past few years and he just finished helping me with my 3rd mortgage with Gateway. Joe is is the best loan officer I have ever worked with and he is arguably one of the most genuine and kind human beings I have the pleasure of now calling a friend. During the closing of my most recent mortgage, a scammer almost tricked me into wiring my down payment to them by impersonating the title company and sending fraudulent wire instructions. Joe caught that it was a scam almost immediately and called my cell telling me not to wire any money. Joe is extremely responsive and anytime I need him, I call his cell and he is always there for me. You are awesome Joe and I cant wait for another opportunity to work with you!!

Joe at Gateway Mortgage is awesome! We needed a true miracle to get approved for the house we purchased. He got us approved and had a special program for the down payment to help out even more. Joe is very thorough and patient, and always available for questions even after business hours . Since this was my first house purchase, I had lots of questions and needed someone to guide me through. He did that and more! Closing was fast, could have been quicker, but the title company slowed things down. Bottom line all of the headache that was told to me about the home buying process by others was not there with mine. Cant help but attribute that to Joes thoroughness.I would recommend Joe to anyone!Thanks Joe

We recently purchased a home during one of the worst buyers markets in recent history. Since it has been roughly 15 years since last purchasing a home, we were a bit rusty when it came to the whole process. Joe made everything very easy and convenient. He answered everyone of our questions and most times, answered them before we even asked. He’s a real professional and seems to know exactly what his clients need. His hard work during the pre-approval process made for a smooth underwriting process. This was especially valuable as we are business owners with a few extra hoops to jump through along the way. However, the best part of the entire experience was Joe’s heart during the entire process. He was very encouraging all along the way. Even when we had to scrap a contract at the last minute and start all over looking. He assured us the right house was out there. Once we finally closed, he was genuinely happy for us and shared in the joy, letting us know he is about way more than making deals and closing loans. He truly does invest in the person. I don’t plan on buying another home anytime soon, but when I do, Joe will be my first call. I cannot recommend Joe and Gateway Mortgage enough. 5 stars is simply not enough! Thank you Joe for all your hard work, kind words and encouragements.
