Want to mention the exceptional effort Holden Thomas put forth in helping us purchase our new home in Ft Worth. We had submitted financial info to Holden and his team at CrossCountry to get a pre-approval letter even though we were looking to make an all cash offer and just wanted to explore all our options including some possible cash-out refinancing for our current home in Houston for tax reasons. Once we found a home and began negotiating a purchase agreement the seller started to question our ability to afford the home. After numerous attempts to prove our financial status Holden came through at the last minute during a competitive bid situation writing a Proof of Funds letter (late night from home!). Even after receiving that the seller was still not convinced. So Holden volunteered to field a call from seller to discuss further. That finally put his mind at ease and they signed the purchase agreement. We dont think the home purchase would have gone through without Holdens help. And then to follow that up he came through again when a HELOC we started with another bank got hung up putting us at risk of not making the closing date for the new home. Holden game through again and started a home equity loan though CrossCountry as an alternative. Despite a tight schedule he got it through the process and made the deadline. So hats off to Holden Thomas and his team at CrossCountry in coming through for us!Mark and Judy Cenkus
