Having been through the mortgage process before on a 1st time home and a refinance, I knew what to expect going into this again this time. Matthew has been there to answer any and all questions, make recommendations, and has also been extremely great to work with. I cannot recommend him and Highland enough. I was told going into our home buying experience by many others that it would be a true rest of patience. However, this has probably been one of the simplest buying experiences Ive ever had. Buying a TV is more difficult than building and purchasing a home with Highland. Truly exceptional customer service. I only gave then 5 stars since thats the highest I could do. Id give 10 if I could. Slightly off topic but It wasnt all just Matt that was great either, working with Vik was excellent as well. Russell, our GC is the best in the business. Zach on the sales side is phenomenal too. If you want a wonderful home buying experience to match your wonderful home, my recommendation is to build Highland.Truly phenomenal.

I’m very thankful that Matt Brewer and I crossed paths when I was purchasing my home. If anyone has done this before, then you know how hard it can be to decide on someone to work with. I met with one previous lender prior to talking to Matt on the phone. The previous guy seemed very knowledgeable, but when I first spoke to Matt on the phone, for whatever reason I felt a lot more trust. And at the end of the day, when it comes to something as complicated as a new home purchase, and new construction at that, you just want to feel like you can trust the people you’re working with. You don’t realize that everything you want is an upgrade which is understandable but some of the prices were ridiculous and I’m sure it’s not just Highland Homes. A lot of stuff still needed to be done when we closed and I guess they didn’t expect us to move in the same day cuz nothing was clean. Literally spent 3 days cleaning the entire house. There were a few minor damages to our sink, baseboards, and stove. The sales team was awesome here in Sandbrock Ranch.

I just closed on a Highland Home in the San Antonio area today, and while hesitant to go with the homebuilders (Highland Homes) in-house loan company, the incentives to do so were too good to pass up. Looking back, even if there had not been additional incentives to use their loan company it still would have been worth it. Ive been through this process multiple times and Doug Dreiman and his team made this one, by far and away, the most customer focused, seamless, stress free loan process I’ve ever been through myself or even heard of. I dont usually write reviews for things, especially if Im happy with how they were, but I had to take the time to let other people know this is a company you should consider doing business with.
