She referred me to a very helpful independent homeowners insurance agency and I was able to make all things align within my budget. I don’t think I would’ve been able to navigate the home buying experience with anyone else. Just completed a mortgage with Cheryl New. Ive worked with Cheryl for years on refinancing my last mortgage and the one on the home I currently own. She is outstanding! Unfortunately, we didnt close on the last mortgage refinance we worked on. It was a beautiful arts and craft home my father and I spent 5 years building in the Texas hill country. My father and I are in the construction business. I went through a divorce. My ex and I had refinanced that home to adopt our son. I ended up with house when our divorce was final and needed to refinance in order to retain ownership. Cheryl worked effortlessly to try to secure that deal. It was unfortunate that re-fi failed. It was due to overcorrected rules in mortgage industry and the particular re-fi my ex chose to adopt our son. Cheryl did everything under the sun to try to make that deal work. I always remembered that. Years later, I ended up buying a home in Santa Rita in Liberty Hill. At the time, I just took over the company business from my father and mortgage companies required 2 years of tax returns. I found myself in another pickle. I was able to reach out to the bank I that has my business account and secure a mortgage. A 5 year mortgage with a good rate that expired after 5 years. At that 5 year point, Id pay what ever the rate was to the term of my loan. Two years after I closed on the home I now live in, I reached out to Cheryl to refinance. Rates had increased, but she worked to secure me a long term loan and we secured the deal. It was tough to refinance only to end up paying a little more each month, usually folks get some cash in their pocket, but in light of what I could see coming in the future with rates, Cheryl helped me out big time! In fact, after we secured that mortgage, interest rates jumped another point. I give Cheryl the ultimate 5 star review. Cheryl and her team are fantastic!
