Virgina is truly amazing at her job! She goes above and beyond to satisfy her clients. We went with Stearns when we bought our 2nd home in 2012. After selling that home and purchasing a new build we had an unpleasant closing experience with that lender. Stearns was our first choice to refinance along with our current bank. We liked the convenience of our bank but as always Virginia and the Stearns team went above and beyond to put our wants first! We got our rate and payment we wanted even when the previous lender and our bank said it was impossible! We will never go to another lending company in the future!

Just closed my loan with Stearns Lending and wanted to share that this was the most stress free process that I have experienced in quite a while. Loan Agent Ronald Fletcher was spot on. He was the not only professional but extremely knowledgeable. Hands down, he is the best Loan Agent that I have worked with. Ron was able to guide us through the process as well as answered all questions and concerns clearly and quickly. We never had to wait long for a response. In fact we were able to fund our home loan in exactly 30 days!!! I would also like to give a shout out to Dominic Le, loan processor. He too, was very professional and responsive. There is always a hiccup or two when Involved with any type of loan. I was the cause of most of these hiccups. I’m on my laptop, my tablet and my phone, all the time, exploring different things, different places, and obtaining answers to questions I have. Another place I go is social media. Shopping Online is my favorite. So, using programs and apps which require my signature/initials on documents, I have no problem with but, don’t ask me to perform anything else. John Riley with Stearns Lending company got me through all of it. John came to our house on numerous occasions helping me with my inability to perform simple online requests. I’m not sure how many times he was at our house. It was a lot. I do know he was there when we signed the closing documents. The registrar stated that it’s rare to have a loan officer at your house for final signatures. It’s not a requirement. Yes, he was late. The traffic coming from San Diego to our house can be insane! Anyway, we had a great experience using your services. Every single person I dealt with was so kind, understanding, informative and, most of all, patient. I feel like I’ve known John my entire life. He is so easy to talk to. My husband loves baseball. He and John were constantly throwing around the ins and outs of the game. I highly recommend Peter Grace, loan officer, at the Stearns Lending branch in Portsmouth, N.H. Peter was able to transform a negative situation for myself and my sister. My sister and I had made an offer on a home in early March. That offer was accepted, and so we moved forward with the lending process. Everything was going according to plan, until late March. Without warning, our lender informed me that they would need to deny our loan application due to a technicality with my tax return.We were blindsided with this horrible news. We thought all was lost. our current home was scheduled to be sold in late April, and we had fears of becoming homeless. Our broker made some calls, and we were provided with the name of Peter Grace of Stearns Lending.Five days later, on April 4th we had a meeting with Peter. It was an unnerving transaction that took two month to complete given all the complications weve ran into and last minute UW requests that kept coming up, but he kept finding ways to keep it going even when we ourselves were ready to give up and let go. Brian is an amazing hardworking person and a very knowledgeable loan officer.
