My loan was sold to Freedom a few years back. Ive not had one single issue with them in the 5 years theyve been servicing my loan. The only reason I gave less than five stars is because there always seems to be an issue catching up my escrow account. My guess is that because my insurance and taxes have changed due to large increases in property value over the last six years might be to blame. Either way, dont panic if they end up with your loan. Theyre a decent company and always polite if they do call to try and get me to refi for cash out or a host of other reasons. With a rate as low as I have from before the rates skyrocketed, I wish they would stop trying to get me to do this, but I get it, its their job.

I have had Freedom for over 2 years.I have had to contact them 3 times and all 3 times they were great.Once about an insurance claim for roof replacement and other times for additional payments towards principal.

I read all of the reviews and was extremely nervous. I did all of my research and even had an attorney in mind for getting this solved after it goes wrong. I called Freedom mortgage and spoke with a representative and ask for all the instructions written not just over the phone. He set up an account which I thought was strange and then sent me the all documents needed I follow the directions exactly and freedom mortgage followed the exact guidelines that were listed on the letter. I was extremely pleased and surprised after reading the reviews which were totally different than my actual experience!

April 9th 2024My loan was sold to Freedom Mortgage from Arvest mortgage in March of 2024. I read some of the reviews about Freedom Mortgage and it did not look good. Let me give you peirce of mind. Freedom Mortgage according to me are OUTSTANDING. I have contacted them a number of times to making sure they received my first mortgage payment and checked with there Insurance Department to make sure they received my new insurance for 2024/2025. Everyone I have spoken to at Freedom Mortgage were outstanding, helpful and extremely pleasant and noligable. Every question I have asked them were answered. They take there time and listen to all your concerns. I would highly recommend Freedom Mortgage to a friend or family member. I give them a 10 plus.God BlessMichael Stre*****

I did have a horrible experience working with the call center but I was lucky enough to end up speaking with Jon Blanco who was so helpful and made all of the difference.

Honestly, Ive had issues, but they all have been resolved. The Agent was a very young guy, and I could tell he didnt know what he was doing. As long as it doesnt cost me money or time, Im fine. Another time, FM missed the Tax due date, so I send them the County invoice to them, and they paid it. Second year, same thing. I saw my payments came late from my escrow, but since it was not my fault, I did not paid a cent in penalties or interests (the way it should be). Refinance 6 years later was very smooth. Then the escrow balance is too jumpy, My monthly payment goes down $400 one year, and up $400 the next year. Not sure if they are doing a great job there, but hopefully they wont raise it to years in a row. Other than those hiccups, maybe the fact that they keep pushing for more refinance (even when my rate is the same or just as low; I wont refinance just to improve 1/4 of a point), it has been acceptable.

As a veteran, my loan was sold to Freedom Mortgage from some other company. I have had no problems with Freedom. As a matter of fact they have called me several times and lowered my interest rate. Overall, my experience with them is a good one.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I love this company. I had roundpoint before and freedom mortgage bought them out, Thank God! Everyone I have talked to is really helpful. They helped get my ex wife’s name off, refinanced me to a lower interest even though my credit sucks, helped through Covid when I couldn’t pay for months! I could have lost my house but the people at Freedom mortgage saved me. I am eternally grateful for them!

Covid kicked our farms butt. We got behind on our mortgage and they assisted us every step of the way, when we bought the farm we had a 5.something interest rate. They did a load modification and dropped our monthly payments by over 500 bucks and lowered our interest rate down to 2% it was truly a farm saver for us!

Sorry to see all the bad reviews. I had a great experience refinancing. I work 12 hours days and they worked with me after hours and even sent someone to my home to complete the signing closing paperwork. Great for those who work and cant get any free time.
