This lender is super professional, informative, friendly, and genuine! We are first-time home buyers, and Hua went us through the doc and explained every detail about not only the mortgage but also general homeownership such as homestead application, frauds, and scams.We also compared quotes from other lenders, the deal they offered was truly unbeaten. The process is fast, transparent, and effective. I love working with them and will definitely highly recommend them to all my friends.The only hassle is perhaps that underwriting requires detailed explanation (flow of the money) on every large transactions in accounts. But they made that very clear on the first day of our conversation (when we were getting pre-approval). Due to personal reason, our accounts have complicated money flow. The processor put a lot of effort simplifying it. I didn’t find underwriting bothering me much.Finally we got CTC in about 3 weeks, that’s a week prior to closing.

I lost all my time with Regions.I gave 2 WEEKS to Hua and he made it happen on our targeted date. His rates are lowest compared with others for sure. Another loan banker hard pull my credit without notifying me, that sucks).A huge plus: I was impressed by the team during the loan process. I first contacted Li Zhou for a rate quote and he responded right away even late in the evening. First Lending offers very competitive rates compared with other lenders, probably one of the best in the area. I had a lot of questions about the rates and appraisals and Li answered them all patiently. Its difficult to find a lender that can offer low rates and quality service at the same time, and First Lending is definitely one of those rare places.After the rate lock, I worked with Jason to provide docs and he was also very responsive to my questions. There was a small hiccup regarding the appraisal process, and I appreciate Jason offering us helpful advice. They are very detail oriented and by the book.Our loan was closed on time without issues, and they continue to assist when we have follow up questions.
